They want to go home they say. Weak and soft and whiny. They miss going outside, they miss their family. They miss their friends.
They miss home; they miss freedom.
But— but Ikeda doesn’t want to go home. Not yet.
Everything here. It’s so new. In here is big, he can’t remember the last time he’s interacted with so many people at once. He’s seen rooms he’s never seen before. Objects and tools, foreign and strange. Although, everyone else seems to consider them ‘normal’ so maybe— he’s the strange one here.
There are plenty of things to do here. Play boardgames, read, cook, paint.
You can plan a murder too.

“Right. So, um...what Maekawa said during the class trial about you and Tei. Is that true?” Yaitabashi asks. letting his curiosity get the better of him. “Are you and Tei boyfriends?”
Yaitabashi isn't sure what sort of response he's expecting out of Ikeda. A lot of people, himself included, consider romance as a private matter. Tei and Ikeda are close, but they aren't as affectionate with each other as some of the other duos in here. There's certainly something going on between them, but Yaitabashi isn't sure what. He's awfully curious to know, even if Ikeda doesn't feel entirely comfortable opening up yet.
Instead, Ikeda retches. “I– eugh! Of course not! Me and Tei?! Eugh– eugh!”
