Summary
It was just a soft kiss, as innocent as the other times their lips touched, but somehow there was a feeling settling over him that left him breathless. Jisung wasn’t sure. Because his heart started to dance just like the stars in their eyes, so tirelessly, making it beat faster, making it feel like it was about to leap out of his chest and disappear somewhere behind the horizon where he couldn’t follow. But it only lasted for a moment, because soon their lips separated again with a breathless sigh, and as Jisung directed his gaze towards the sky, he saw the last glimpses of the stars above their heads, dancing to a song only known to themselves.
“I'd give anything to hear you say it one more time, that the universe was made just to be seen by my eyes.”
or: Jisung and Chenle were something they liked to call soulmates, bearing souls of stars in their chests which were destined to find their way back to each other.Series

Summary
"It was when I watched your hands fidget with the label of the bottle in your hands that I wondered if it was okay for me to whisper in your ear to just play with my fingers instead, to let skin grace skin and to bathe in the way it made me feel less alone; made me feel more in the present.
I wondered if it was okay, because I didn’t know the boundaries of two people who had once been so close and who had now built a wall between them that screamed of only friendship and nothing more. I wondered if I had already started to climb over a good portion of that wall when I had decided to sit next to you, legs crossed and knee touching your thigh. I hated how much I relished in that small touch, as if it was everything I needed to live on."
"Letting go of what was is a way of being with what is."
or: After leaving the safe warmth of the routine that was once their relationship, Donghyuck wonders just how he was supposed to deal with all of this - especially when it came to the way he was supposed to act around the other.Series

Summary
He thought, as he picked up a dirty yellow leaf landing right in front of the tip of his shoe, their love was more like this leaf. Seeming so beautiful, still fresh and so stunning as he held it against the light of the weak autumn sun, one eye squinted close as the leaf only covered half of his face.
But as he loosened his grip and the leaf sunk weakly towards the floor, he realised there were more brown stains covering the surface of the leaf than fresh yellow life. And as he stomped on it, a soft crunch reaching his ears, he realised that it would never be as evergreen again as the leaves covering the trees high above his head.
"When it ends, let it end."
or: Once having been such a strong love, Donghyuck and Mark's relationship still finds an end as they slowly drift apart, having let go of each other's hands without the thought of grabbing them anew.Series

Summary
Donghyuck didn’t trust people from the city, especially those who decided to spend some years or maybe even the rest of their lives in this small town which has nothing to give but everything to take. It was not that he had any bad experience with people from the city but he didn't like change. At all.
Change was scary, because Donghyuck lived by routines and everything that mixed those routines up was a threat to Donghyuck. So to say that he despised the new kid only for the reason that everyone already loved him without even talking to him in the first place was an understatement. Donghyuck wasn't that petty. (Or maybe he was. It all depended on how you looked at it, really.)
"I would wake up every morning and think 'This will go down in flames'."
or: Donghyuck hated change. He really did. And he especially hated the new kid in town who everyone was gushing about to Donghyuck without even meeting him before.Series

Summary
my mind has never forgotten that someone who was let through my colors, who was the only one privileged to touch me with more than just hatred, although never sure why my eyes were only focused on him and why my hands were so keen on feeling every inch of his skin where his sweaters tended to slip off his shoulder. my mind never forgot Minho, so to say i was taken aback as soon as my eyes landed on him after so many years of nothing was an understatement.
“the only thing i ever wanted was the heat of your touch on my skin.”
or: in which Jisung and Minho painted each others skin with blues and purples back in high school and crossed paths again years later. -

Summary
when Jisung laughs, all kinds of purple erupt around the head and the chest and even the arms and fingers of the boy. Minho has never seen purple before.
Minho has seen pink before. soft, calm pink when a little girl started giggling after winning a teddy bear at a fairground booth, dancing around the hectic people. and stinging, ugly pink, dripping out of a young man's mouth telling oh so sweet lies.
and Minho has seen blue. oh so much blue, peeking around corners, floating around noses directed to the sky, hovering above the heads of lonely kids. so much blue; all shades of blue. maybe because humans like the color. maybe because blue seems to calm the angel.
but purple? Minho has never seen purple before.
"to make others love themselves you have to love yourself first."
or: Minho is an angel of light with a job that clearly doesn't suit him. and Jisung just naturally radiates love. -

Summary
sometimes we meet someone special
and we refuse to see
how imperfect they truly are
because everyone needs
something beautiful in their life
