Summary
Boba Fett likes to be in control. Din Djarin feels more out of control with every passing day. Giving control over to Boba would make both of them happy. Din just doesn't understand why that has to be so complicated.
(Or, rebuilding an entire culture is hard. Boba helps, more or less.)

Amazing world building and basically my headcanon characterisation for both Din and Boba.

Summary
The lighthouse on Siji Island has sat empty for the last decade. Ever since the light itself became automated, it’s been more and more difficult to find a keeper for the grounds. The last caretakers, a group of four older folks, had left to spend their final years traveling the world together. Now, the house that sits at the foot of the lighthouse is a salt-worn mess, all peeling paint and dust. The garden that fed its inhabitants decades ago now only shelters ivy and the occasional squirrel. The old house at the farthest end of the lane is deserted, and has been for years.
Or: Zhou Zishu brings Chengling to Siji for a chance at a new life and gets more than he bargained for.

Summary
A big, broad-shouldered man came through the door, the look of a long-haul trucker hanging around him like a ratty coat. He was wearing old oil-stained jeans and a frayed flannel shirt thrown over a white t-shirt, his scuffed boots peeling up at the toes with age.
He had the air of a man who’d reached the end of his rope. He had a battered wide-brimmed hat pulled low to cover his long, frazzled hair, half of which was scraped back into a loose tail. He had dark hair and dark skin and dark eyes that were framed by the deep-set bruises Arthur only ever saw on long-haulers and cattlemen, the marks of too many nights at the wheel or in the saddle, the normal rhythms of life stretched out and pulling at the seams.
The feller was handsome. Arthur noticed that as an afterthought, his breath catching in his chest. Under the bruises and the loose strands of hair, the feller was handsome. His eyes were bright and keen.
“Uh,” said Arthur, caught flat-footed by the unanticipated surge of attraction tightening his belly. “Hi.”
The feller looked Arthur dead in the eye. “I need all of the caramel sauce that you have,” he said.
(or, a coffee shop au. yeah. i know.)

Summary
Within the next ten minutes, Malfoy has accused Harry of assaulting him in sixth year (not technically untrue), fucking half of Paris (categorically false), being too stuck-up to accept Malfoy’s offer of friendship (honestly baffling), and being a sore winner (debatable). Harry, in turn, has told Malfoy he’s a prejudiced berk, a hypocrite, a snob of a pureblood who probably just had sex with Harry so it would seem like he reformed, and a coward who ran away to France instead of facing the consequences of his actions. As far as he’s concerned, all these things are true.
The whole apartment seems to shake when Draco slams the front door on his way out.
“That went well,” Neville tells Harry, sitting in his pants at the kitchen table.

Such a great fic about our favourite wizards and witches being (kinda) functional adults - like you do while adulting.
I love how 3 dimensional everyone is here. So well written!
