The Van der Linde Gang was set in 1824, when Dutch Van der Linde and Hosea Matthews tried to rob each other on their way to Chicago, quickly becoming best friends.
Now in 1899, the Van Der Linde Gang runs from the law after 4 years of a silent life in an abandoned house in Texas, after they thought they could live a normal life.
The youngest member in the gang, Jack Marston, a 20 year old born into a runaway life, is set on finding his family peace after the incident in Blackwater that made them run in the first place six months ago; but there’s little he can do alone.
Jack Marston, known as “The Wolf Cub”, has only one friend that he can trust, one he met in the three years he could go to college, one friend that may be more than a friend; but there’s no time to think about it when bullets are flying past your head.
(An AU where everything happened 20 years before, there was a moment of peace when Ross thought he had killed John, Jack is part of the gang, I promise a happy ending because I can, a lot of gay cowboys, me loving the history of my country, messed up English since it’s my second language, and an oc that I’m way too proud of)

It was evening but in the business of vampire hunting it was best to adjust yourself to their timetable so for the gang the setting sun was what the rising was to most.
