Summary
~MEDIEVAL AU~ Princess Mirah is the only survivor of her immediate family, moulded by her late mother’s suffocating expectations and wishing to break free to find her tru self. She obsesses herself over the accident that claimed her parents and the strange, rhythmic thrumming she feels pulsing beneath the castle floorboards. Sir March, the blacksmith’s son, is a cold knight of the Royal Guard who views the princess as nothing but a chore. A reckless, fragile responsibility he must manage with a heavy hand. As the Winter Ball approaches, the friction between them sparks a dangerous heat. March’s demeaning overprotectiveness masks a simmering, jealous devotion he refuses to name, while Mirah’s hunger for independence threatens to shatter the gilded cage built around her. But there is a power waking up in the deep... an entity known as Caldarus whose power cannot land in the wrong hands. When the shadows of the past finally strike, the princess and her steel will have to decide: is the man guarding the door her protector, or just the final wall standing in her way?

Summary
Bright and resilient Min the farmer somehow finds herself at the royal ball in the capital for March's presentation of the Golden Dragon Crest. She's sure he doesn't know who she really is, but is that the true case? She never expects the night to change everything, especially her relationship with the broody and sharp-tongued blacksmith she’s grown far too fond of. But when misunderstandings follow her home, Min begins to pull away, convinced she was only ever someone easy for him to tease - never someone he could truly love. As distance grows and feelings threaten to be lost forever, March is forced to confront what he’s been denying all along as well. A story of yearning, miscommunication, and choosing to be seen for oneself. Maybe something drops along the way to jog his memory, and perhaps a certain merchant's wagon is jeopardised by the town's best sorceress for transportation purposes.
