"You listen well," Goro drawls as he rounds the armor to face its front. "Though I do wonder how long you've actually been standing still while waiting. Inaction is hardly something I associate with you."
"Do I get a bonus if I say I've been like this the whole time?" comes the knight's answer, and Goro reaches to remove and put aside the helmet. Instead of shadows, grey eyes meet his own, crinkling slightly with the knight's smile and skin covered in sweat. It even wets his hair, which normally, Goro would think is disgusting.
Ren Amamiya is (frustratingly) the exception to most of Goro's beliefs and self-awareness.

Goro’s worked hard throughout his entire high school career to carefully build his reputation, and ‘plays a dating sim’ doesn’t quite match the pleasant-boy-honors-student persona he set up for himself. Even still, the gossip mill isn’t something Goro can fully resist, and no one has access to his phone but him. Downloading the app was something only he knew about and, after a moment of apprehension, he played the game.

Some weeks into Bilbo's hibernation, the Company Burglar wakes to get himself a snack, only to find himself in his own tomb. When Thorin discover that the tomb has one very live Hobbit inside...well, there isn't much resting in peace for one tomb.

Mydei leans away from the dromas at the sight of him. He looks the same as he always does: scowl in place, dressed and armored in Kremnoan attire. Yet in Phainon’s preheat vision, Mydei is achingly handsome—sleek lines, sharp angles, and a ruggedness from years on the battlefield.
Phainon’s thighs grow wet.
“What took you so long?” Mydei snaps. “We’re heading to a negotiation, not a field trip. No need to bring all your outfits."
“What if I want to impress the stakeholder?” Phainon jests, adjusting his tunic to hide his lower torso. He falters, however, when he notices Mydei’s sharp hazel eyes fixed on the slick staining his front. For a moment, Phainon feels raw and exposed, shame creeping up his neck. Mydei’s breathing pauses, the pace slowing to something deeper and more indulgent, before he looks away.
“We have a long journey ahead,” Mydei murmurs. “Pace yourself.”
Phainon sets out on a mission with Mydei, determined to maintain the facade of being a beta despite his preheat. But then his full-blown heat strikes at the worst possible time.
Mydei takes care of him.
