I turned in a second, searching for the source of the sound. It seemed to be coming from the maze. And then it stopped. In some way, this was much creepier than the scream itself.--

A semester of awkward first meetings later - because seriously, how unlucky do you have to be for your soulmate's first words to you to be just a simple 'hey' - you bump into the notoriously ill-tempered enforcer again, and you're pleasantly surprised he's startlingly chill, contrary to his reputation. The only issue you have with him is that he keeps cutting into your nap times, and his only issue he has with you is that you don't need to keep telling people random colors, he's right here.
