Summary
Izuku was kidnapped at the age of seven by villains after the death of his parents, and since then he has was used as a test subject for various experiments and other horrible things.
Resigned to his miserable new life, he spent the subsequent years trying to survive. Until one day he learned something horrible, and with that last straw that broke the camel's back and a new motivation in mind, he finally decided to escape. And to his pleasing surprise, he really did it! (sure, he almost died in the process, but that's not important.)
But if he was honest, he didn't think he would go that far.
So the new problem was that he didn't know how to continue.

Summary
Familiarity in grimy cheeks smeared with dirt; Izuku's eyes are half-lidded in exhaustion, and his mouth mumbles out words inarticulate. It opens, breathes, closes.
From above, Katsuki watches with narrowed eyes like a hawk for the right moment to strike; his hands are impassive weapons, so he will brandish them as such. It's what feels right, what's natural.
A hand gloved in nylon and leather, so filthy and threadbare it’s barely even white anymore, reaches out towards the sky with wavering. Thus, without a second to spare, entirely unwavering, Katsuki circles a hand in front of his candescent palms.
This’ll be easy, he thinks. Easy like breathing, like earthshaking rage.What if post-rescue night had gone just a little differently?

"Relax,” Katsuki gruffs, when Izuku's muscles stay locked up. Then, quieter, "You're safe now."
He whispers the words into Izuku's hair, breathing in the scent of shampoo tinged with rain. Katsuki's only answer is tears finally soaking his t-shirt as Izuku cries soundlessly, ever altruistic even in his sorrow.
Stupid nerd. Katsuki would do anything for him.
