A bard seeking fortune wouldn't watch Geralt across the fire with eyes half-full of tears that he didn't bother to blink away. An artist looking for a muse wouldn't press close, desperately close, against Geralt's side until he finally gave in and turned his head. A young man after a quick fuck wouldn't grip Geralt to him hard enough to bruise even a witcher.
The way Jaskier looks at Geralt makes him think he should know the answer already, but he doesn't, he doesn't.
"Because I know you," he says at last. "Because I have known you. Because I will know you. Isn't that enough?"
(One day, Geralt will understand that it was the closest thing Jaskier will ever have to a goodbye, and it's enough, it's enough.)

The Great Shrieking Alpine Mimic’s appearance in PIDW was the natural consequence of one of Author-God Airplanes patrons. The commenter in questions largesse and frequency rivalled the esteemed Peerless Cucumber but could not eclipse his word count. He had a particular interest in two areas; these being show feet and ntr/cuckold next?? Airplane, being of weak spine and weaker flesh, would throw one of these into his personal kink prompt generator and foist which ever combination of five or six appeared into his next sex scene. Bingge, being the recipient of this series of lightly made decisions, develops a stallion's understanding of narrative and handles the Shrieking Alpines appearance with Sword and sword. Bingmei does not.
This has consequences.

Eventually the zucchinis are all decimated and the Furbys are lined up how Bev wants them. Richie tucks his legs in and makes room for other people on the couch. When Mike sits next to him instead of Eddie, he tries not to be crestfallen. Being seated next to Mike is a blessing, and Eddie’s only two cushions away. Richie waits for Mike to get comfortable before plopping his legs in his lap so his toes are touching Eddie, anyway.
“Get your foot out of my armpit,” Eddie says, shoving Richie away. “What the hell are we watching?”
“I’m so glad you asked,” Richie says. For a moment, his stomach twists nervously. But the truth is, he knows he has nothing to be worried about, not anymore. “Who here likes to objectify men?”
