Summary
For the past five hundred years, Krypton has successfully spearheaded the colonization and reeducation of twenty six alien planets. Lorded over by the Royal House of El, Krypton's forces have just declared victory over their 27th conquest. The planet X9Y-BH91, otherwise known as "Earth."
As a representative for the planet, and potentially a candidate for the new world order, the Earthling Lex Luthor has come to Krypton with a peace offering; a small selection of humans as gifts. One in particular is promised to the oldest son of the House of El, Kal.
But Kal-El's pet is not docile, not subservient, not obedient. And for a prince considered soft to the touch, Kal's pet proves to be one hell of a problem.
As for Bruce Wayne, a man who has lost everything--his children, his wealth, his home--no measure is too drastic to escape the planet Krypton. When sheer force does not work, Bruce decides he can seduce his master into a false sense of security before killing him in his sleep and jumping ship back to Earth. A fool proof plan.
Or at least, it would have been... had he not fallen in love with Kal-El in the process.

“Speaking of…you got any idea what this lunch is about? She was pretty vague when she called.”
Buck paused, then he shook his head, a small frown pulling between his brows. “Nope. Not a clue.”
“But you’re worried,” Eddie guessed.
Buck gave a half-shrug, trying for casual, though his hand lingered at Tori’s side like the contact grounded him. “Maddie doesn’t usually do vague. If she says she wants to talk, she wants to talk.”
Tori let out a babble just then, saving him from saying more. Buck leaned down, pressing a kiss to the top of her head before scooping her into his arms. “Guess we’ll find out soon enough.”
Eddie studied him for a moment.
Buck’s answering smile was soft but a little distracted, like his mind was already skipping ahead to lunch.
And Eddie couldn’t shake the feeling that Maddie’s words would upend the equilibrium they’d worked so hard to hold.
Or, After years of chaos, they’ve built a life full of love and family, but a hidden secret from Buck’s past threatens their fragile peace. When the past collides with the present, even the happiest home feels uncertain.

“I leave in a week,” Eddie said quietly. “Minimum Five-month deployment.”
The spoon clattered against the counter, the sharp sound cutting through the air. Buck’s jaw tightened, his eyes narrowing with something too tangled to be just anger. “Five months? You were supposed to be done in three. No more deployments…We were supposed to finally settle down. Put down some roots. Be on the same fucking continent for more than a few months at a time.”
Or, They survived deployments and the kind of chaos only Buck could attract. Falling in love should’ve been the easy part. Now married and raising Christopher, they’ve finally built the family they once only dreamed about…except Eddie’s been deployed again, and long-distance is proving tougher than any mission.

“What the fuck, Buck. Look at us! We don’t do this, man. You can’t just up and leave after things get hard!” Eddie wasn’t sure how to stop being angry, how to not put everything on Buck, but his best friend leaving sure wasn’t helping.
“Oh, but you can?” Buck snarled and Eddie looked at him in disbelief.
“You…No. We’ve been over this. I know that you don’t think that I…” Eddie was lost for words but Buck quickly started speaking instead.
“That you what, Eddie? That you didn’t leave? That you haven’t changed? That we haven’t changed? Because we sure as hell did. And El Paso wasn’t the first time you did it. It is your fucking thing."

In the midst of their grief, Buck and Eddie fell out of their usual rhythm and went into two completely different directions. After a fight that took way too much from both of them and after the news that Eddie and Chris were staying in LA, Buck decided to move out and leave this thing between him and Eddie behind.

Buck and Eddie have another divorce era right after the events of s8e17. We ignore everything that happened after that episode. Chris is a sweetheart, Maddie Buckley-Han is amazing and Tommy is only here as a plot device.
