Summary
[Part 1] - I press back against him, threading my fingers in his soft hair, his own hair that he grew, that wasn’t sewn in with a factory needle like mine. I pull, hard, because it fascinates me, and he seems to like this even more than my mouth. The sound he makes, I’m going to learn that one. It’s rough and breathless and reminds me of the choke of car engines from back when I was first made, before everything became electric. It’s so. Just. Human.
“Gerard,” he says, face pulling back but hips pressing in harder. “This is illegal.” —
The year is 2042. Twenty years after the “Wake-Up”, an event in which humanoid androids, like Gerard, malfunctioned and grew sentience.
2042. Nine years after the existence of these malfunctioned androids were decriminalised by the US government.
2042. Eighteen years after Gerard’s brother, Mikey, was recaptured and reset with a morally controversial ‘re-write’ chip.
2042. The year that Frank, a naive but well-meaning music journalist, meets Gerard.
2042. Six months before Gerard and Frank finally track down Mikey. An event which sets off an explosive chain that’ll lead Frank and Gerard to try to better the world for androids. By any means possible.

Summary
Frank Iero is a NYC mobster with a nasty reputation for violence, he commands rooms just by his name being whispered in them.
One night he finds himself in a cesspool of an illegal action house, where goods over every shape, size, and origin are being sold to the highest bidder. He just wasn't able to help himself when the most beautiful man he has ever seen was drug up on stage.
Gerard felt panic flood through him as the gavel slammed down to the podium and word "SOLD" permeated his entire existence. His life had been uprooted and ripped apart when he and Mikey had been drugged and taken nearly four years ago. Even after years of abuse, a new fear blossomed as he was sold to some tattooed stranger, who eyed him up like a piece of meat.
