    Yae Miko is many things.

    Smart, hardworking, ambitious, witty, charming. These adjectives aren’t even enough to encompass the one and only Yae Miko.

    Add oblivious, though… Now, that could encompass her.

    Why oblivious, you ask?

    Well, because even after a decade, she still hasn’t caught on to her best friend’s feelings for her. The romantic, I-want-to-kiss-you-softly-on-your-forehead-in-the-mornings-and-have-hot-passionate-wall-sex-with-you-during-the-night kind of feelings.

    So, yes. Yae Miko is many things and oblivious (despite her intelligence) is one of them.

    Or the "Ei is a useless lesbian and Miko is an oblivious gay and they're both just suffering but in a good way" modern AU no one asked for.
