Tadashi suddenly heard the unmistakable tones of Ainosuke’s voice again.
Tadashi-kun really does look cute today. Like a puppy.
“I’m sorry?” Tadashi blurted out loud, startled.
“I didn’t say anything,” Ainosuke replied with a raised eyebrow. Tadashi's teeth clicked hard as he snapped his mouth shut. He needed to stop talking before he made an even bigger fool of himself.
Suddenly the incidents from this morning sprung to mind, slotting together to reveal a truly horrifying picture. No, it wasn’t his imagination, he realised with a sinking feeling: Tadashi was actually hearing Ainosuke’s thoughts. Somehow the stupid myth his friends had often teased him about was coming true: he had gone to sleep a thirty-year old virgin and woken up a mind-reading wizard.
