Daniela lives with divorced parents, staying at her mom's house is hell. Perfect smile, Perfect grades, Perfect clothes, And a toxic boyfriend. A girls week in hell. Being someone who she isn't really sucks and wishes she could be at her dads house, where her curls can spill out in a crazy manner, hangouts with her nerdy friend who gets her, and much more freedom. At school she has to remain in order, hanging out with the popular girls, getting school lunch but not eating it and of course going to her boyfriend's house after school. One day she couldn't take it, Her boyfriend is a bitch but he holds evidence, what evidence you may ask? Behind the trees during the one free week at her dad's house, she hangs out with Megan, in the forest behind her house, well behind their houses. Not in a romantic way or anything but in the forest Dani lets her true self shine, Baggy jeans and Tank tops, nothing like herself at school. In that forest she can be herself. Now this day in particular Dani was in the forest when Megan pulled out a pack of cigars. Somehow. Somewhere. A picture was taken and her shitty ass boyfriend has blackmail. This would RUIN her reputation... what will she do?

“You just need to report to me how and what she’s doing. That’s all, Dani.” Manon’s voice was soft but urgent, her eyes pleading as if this mattered more than Daniela realized.
Daniela shook her head, frustration bubbling up. “I’m not gonna be your girlfriend’s stalker, Manon. That’s crazy!”Her mind spun with a thousand swirling thoughts, the weight of the request pressing down on her chest.
“You’re not stalking her,” Manon insisted, her tone desperate yet hopeful. “You’re just—investigating. Besides, you’re friends with her sister. You have a huge chance of seeing her more than I do. Please, Dani.”
Daniela met her sister’s gaze and saw the raw emotion there—vulnerability tangled with fear. It was like Manon was one fragile breath away from breaking down, and the tension filled the room so thick Daniela could almost taste it.
It’s not like anything’s gonna happen, right? Daniela told herself, trying to steady her racing heart.
After a long pause, she finally whispered, “Fine. I’ll do it.”
What she didn’t know was that “anything” was about to happen—and it was going to change everything.
