“Really, where are we?” He took another drag on the cigarette.
“I really hope you’re not that naive, Michael,” David said. “Use that pretty, little head of yours to think for once.” David had insulted and flirted with him all in one sentence. “What kind of place would use dramatic, sexy lettering dressed in red lights?”
“A strip joint?”
“Bingo,” David said, giving Michael a slight noogie on the top of his head. “There’s using the old noggin, Michael.” David threw an arm around Michael’s shoulder. He pointed towards the cigarette poking out behind the curtain of Michael’s lips. “I’d like to have that back now, Michael.”
“Take it then, David,” Michael said through gritted teeth and David’s cigarette.
David grabbed the cigarette straight from between Michael’s lips and placed it behind his own.
Michael would be blushing red even if he wasn’t standing in front of a strip club that was dowsing him red from the neon lights.

Or, instead of taking Michael to the Surf Nazis’ bonfire for his first kill, the Lost Boys go to…a strip club. For no man, nor vampire, can resist the temptation of flesh.
