    An inline seam here or there, something that ensures it fits you best. A hem just below the heel, allowing the legs of your pants to rest ever so slightly closer to the tongues of your shoes. Just one extra stitch, one just to make your pockets that much wider, give you that much more space for your nervous hands or your crowded wallet.
    Good things aren't meant to last forever, however. And only trouble can arrive in paradise when others begin to find out about this little talent. Then suddenly, all those hours you spent working to make things easier has made them a whole lot harder.

    In he strolls, with just enough of a shuffle in his step to be a nuisance, iPad cradled behind his back, rather than in front of him, in a way that pushes his chest forward just a little as he stands to attention in the doorway. Cheeky, amateurish. Armand will not rise to the bait.

    “Yes, Mr Molloy?”

    Armand deposits the empty glass on the table with a loud clang.

    “Refill.”

    To his credit, Daniel doesn’t react — oh, there definitely is a pleasurable sting across their bond, but outwardly he holds himself well. Armand might reward him later for it.

    “Of course. Will there be anything else?”

    Or: Armand has an idea; Daniel improves it.
