“I’ll go grab Gideon from your friend,” Luke said as he turned to leave.
“Jedi,” the child’s guardian called out, and Luke looked over his shoulder.
“What’s your name?”
“Luke Naberrie,” he replied, and waited - half turned - to see if the Mandalorian would say anything more. The other man nodded at him, then looked down at Grogu, who was still nestled in his arms.
“Thank you, Luke.”

Summary
Thirteen is the unlucky number for the criminal who can't learn, and Nori is all out of chances. His thirteenth theft means his punishment is the loss of an arm. Ori, fearing for his brother, begs the captain of the guard, saying he'd do anything, anything at all, to save his brother. Dwalin says he'll let Nori go in exchange for Ori himself. Ori, thinking he's trading a night in a seedy inn for his brother's arm, agrees. What he didn't expect after Nori had been let go, was for Dwalin to braid a marriage bead into Ori's hair and take the scribe home with him.
Ori finds himself having breakfast with princes and kings, working a new job with the best in his field, and trying to navigate a relationship with a guardsman who has more power over Ori's life and happiness than either of them want.

“The world is coming to an end. I’ve got scientists who think they can predict the date and time when more Kaiju than we can handle will come through the Breach. The question becomes where do you want to die, Crowley?”
N.B. There is no need to be familiar with the 2013 film Pacific Rim to understand this fic.

I took a prompt on the kink meme and ran with it further than requested. Prompt was:
At some point on the journey, things get a little ugly and battle is done. Bilbo, who still isn't terrific with a sword, is told to hang back or stay somewhere safe. (Or maybe he's guarding the ponies, whatevs.)
Just before going with them, Bofur takes his hat off. And puts it on Bilbo's head. Because these are the two things he wants to keep safe.
So, here are the many times Bofur gave Bilbo his hat to keep him safe and happy, and the one time Bilbo took it to make Bofur feel safe and happy.

Prompt: "Peter on tik-tok pretending like he figured out a way to replicate what looks like Spider-Man web shooters, for the views. And becoming a ‘cosplayer’ of his own superhero, pairing up with other Deadpool cosplayers for the meme, until the real Deadpool, who is apparently a fan of his and follows all of his social media, begs to be in one of his videos."
The first thing to know about the whole debacle was that, at some point, gig based jobs had quietly trickled away from telephone pole fliers and library bulletin boards, and had instead put down roots in apps and social media.
This leads to the second thing that was important to know: as always, Peter Parker needed money.
Which brings the story to the third (and possibly most important) thing to know was that in addition to shepherding in an age of apps and social media platforms, kids these days had also figured out ways to make money from just existing on these platforms.
A lightbulb went off in Peter’s head.
He yanked out his phone and typed in ‘how tio makke mone yfrom tick tock.’
