The cold air hits her skin and its a welcome reprieve from the fire burning throughout her entire body. Zoey makes a choked sound at the sudden vulnerability. Long graceful fingers cup her center and she can feel her eyes roll to the back of her head.
“Please” she rasps out. “Oh, God—please.” A low rumble from his laugh rolls over her like the clouds of a ravenous thunderstorm, prepared to destroy anything in its path.
“Hunter, there is no God.” He says as he begins moving his hands in silent worship. “There’s only you.”
