Summary
“I’m Rio, by the way,” she said, holding the woman’s arm carefully as she sprayed the disinfectant. The woman winced.
“Agatha,” she said, her shoulders tensing up in discomfort.
It was a pretty name, one that suited her. Rio shook off the thought as she reached for the bandages. As she held the bandage over Agatha’s arm, she hesitated. The wound had almost seemed to close when it had been bleeding not seconds before. Rio blinked in disbelief before wrapping the bandage around her wrist, chalking it off to her being tired and seeing things.

Summary
“Can I help you?” Agatha asked her with a wide fake smile.
“I hope so,” the woman said, returning her grin. Agatha couldn’t tell how genuine it was.
“Alright, then. What’s the pitch?” Agatha said. “Weird magic beans? Your own homebrew whiskey?”
“Oh, no pitch,” the woman said. “More like a promise.”
Agatha’s brow narrowed. “O-kay. Lay it on me.”
“I heard you were a pretty good thief,” the woman said. “And I need a crew.”

Summary
“Did you kill these witches?” Rio asked her, genuinely perplexed. She had no idea what Agnes could gain from killing them.
Agnes turned around. She did not look guilty, or scared of getting caught. Her face was scrunched up in confusion, probably as to why Rio would accuse her of such a thing. There was no blood on her hands, and she, allegedly, had no magical powers. Whoever did this, whether it was Agnes or not, had great magical ability.
“Nope, just found ‘em like this,” Agnes said, shrugging. “Must have drank the Kool-Aid.”
