Summary
Hex was meant to be nothing but a mission, another pawn to capture in Iris's game of chess. But after Slasher and Hex find themselves growing closer and closer together, Slasher begins to distant himself from Iris. Just as Slasher tries to keep Hex safe from the clutches of Iris, so too does Hex try to show Slasher a life outside of the company that owns him. Will the two be able to escape the clutches of a conflict bigger than themselves? Or will they fall just as easily as the rest? Only time may tell, and time will catch up to them faster than they may believe.
