Summary
This is a series of unexplored moments deserving of deeper backstory running from Mrs Hall's arrival in Darrowby in 1933 through my view of what finally comes to pass in 1947.
It's section titles are phrases from the Swizzels Love Hearts "conversation candies" stamped with sayings like "Be Mine," "Kiss Me," "Call Me," and "True Love".💗💗💗

Summary
The line crackled some more. Audrey ran a hand over her flowered pinny and thought of Helen and baby Jimmy sleeping upstairs, of the stew that would need reheating for the men, of the teacups she would push into their cold hands when they returned. She thought of how Mr. Farnon would stomp the frost from his boots when he came in, It’s colder than a witch’s—ah, Mrs. Hall! She thought of how solicitous he had been these past months since she’d broken off with Gerald, offering to help with dishes and all as if she would wither under the strain. It was silly of him, to think that he owed her for what she’d given up to stay.
