Summary
‘Colton? Hey, you with me?’ Rust questions, his shoulder bumping into Cole some undetermined time later. The sun has started setting, and it’s noticeably cooler, but it’s the first time Cole is taking stock of it. His eyes finally leave the patch of corn, tilting his head towards Rust.
‘What’? He asks, a bit dazed. Rust is watching with thoughtful eyes, and Cole hates it. Knows that if Rust has this look in his eyes it means he can tell something is not quite right. He’s supposed to be relaxing.or: Cole and Rust decide to go hunting together sometime after the Frendo attacks. This however causes some uncomfortable memories to resurface for Cole

That changes however when a murdered Eddie is close to catching decides to threaten his husband. Eddie won't stand for that, and will do everything he can to protect Richie. Even if it means not telling him anything about what's happening.
