Summary
Jason loved being Robin, even if the job came with a pint sized stalker. Alvin was going to get himself killed one day, if that was even his real name. Seriously, he'd already had to save the kid twice!
Tim's only joy was his mother's attention and his bird photography. He'd never dreamed of actually getting to meet Robin! Then Robin saved him, twice! He wanted to meet Jason too, to maybe have a friend, but he couldn't. No one could ever know he knew who they were.
But then...Jason died and everything changed. Batman needed a Robin and Dick wouldn't come back.

Summary
How did he land here? Freaking shit-show. But also kinda awesome. Jason was just some random street rat. For him to land up in Wayne Manor was a freaking one in a million chance. To be offered Robin was even more … just unbelievable.
Below that mask, Robin had a normal life. He went to college. College, that was the ultimate goal. Nobody Jason really knew had ever finished college. Jason would do anything for this chance. Anything!
Trying to write another 50.000 words for this fic in November as my contribution to NaNoWriMo 2024. I’m now at 62.848 Words, so by November 30th I want to have reached 112.848 at least. Wish me luck 🥰✨

Summary
The story begins with a new Robin to replace the old, with Nightwing none the wiser to being replaced at all, and suddenly he has a little brother within the same terrible day. It takes a while to accept, but Dick quickly learns this new Robin-- Jason Todd-- is exactly what Dick Grayson was always missing in his life, and in many more ways than one. Through the years with the team and working with the Justice League, Jason finds a place for himself and becomes a vital member of the Young Justice League while also becoming a vital centerpiece in Dick's life. And when all that ends-- when Jason Todd is taken away from Dick-- it's going to be even harder to put his life back together with that emptiness returning once more.

Mostly canon compliant story detailing Jason's introduction to the Young Justice League as Robin, his eventual death, and Dick discovering the mysterious red-hooded figure acting as Ra's Al Ghul's bodyguard is a lot more familiar than he should be.

Jason falls asleep trying not to desperately inhale the faint scent of Dick’s cologne, trying not to play the words honey and sweetheart over and over in his head, trying not to think of Dick, shirtless in the bathroom, rolling his eyes and walking out without saying a word.
He tries an awful lot and fails anyway.
This is where it starts: the slamming of a bedroom door. Jason is twelve, and Dick hates him.
