aka an arospec/acespec person’s take on love potions, and making that the silly pirates’ problem. :-) Relationships are complicated, so this can be read platonic or romantic or whatever!

Summary
Three pirates, friends, captains, occasional rivals. There have been many times they have been cursed (in some cases literally) to a night filled with despair instead of dreams. But fortunately or unfortunately, depending on who you ask, they’d all happily comfort (or annoy) the others as required.
Or, I write many scenes of the Riptide Gang comforting each other, specifically at night. Goodness goddesses why do almost all the main characters have canonically crappy times after hours. Why are there so many night terrors DM Grizzly please let them sleep :(
This is in no particular order besides the order of what I felt like writing, so we may be jumping around the timeline a bit. Sorry about that.
Title from ‘talk to me’ by Cavetown, the song that inspired this fic (maybe someday I’ll be able to draw and I can finally make that damned animatic that’s been rotating in my head for the last couple months)
