“Rescue me?” Xie Lian arches an eyebrow at the man, mentally racking his brain to try and remember the scholar's name or anything else he can about him or his companions, but Xie Lian has spent far more time at Paradise Manor or in Puqi Shrine over the last few years than he has in the heavens and so these three young gods are barely known to him. “From what?”
The healer god, Wa Ying, lets out an exasperated huff of breath. “From that monster of course.”
Instantly Xie Lian stiffens, his back straightening and his tone cooling. “What monster?”
Wong Tu lets out a mocking laugh. “The one you call your husband of course and I told you before,” this to his companions, “he's not a victim. He's a willing participant.”
OR Post-Canon Xie Lian gets abducted by gods who don't like the influence Hua Cheng has over him...

Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor Wei Wuxian, as a fully adult person, normally prides himself on his ability to protect children from the horrors of the world. Teenagers, occupying that very awkward space between child and adult, are different.
Teenagers are hilarious, possibly the best, but also the worst.
In which the sixth years discuss gay marriage and the seventh years discover the purpose of the secret array in their professor’s office. These things are not unrelated.

Summary
"Lan Zhan," he whispered back and almost winced at how raw and broken his voice sounded. He swallowed once again, trying to force down the metallic taste of blood and failing to get rid of it. He was tempted to ask what had happened but the fact that Lan Zhan was humming not their song, but Cleansing, in tune with Sizhui's playing, as well as the turmoil within his meridians told him without having to expend the energy on trying to speak.

Jiang Cheng feels something twist sharp and ugly in his chest as Lan Wangji moves closer, fingers careful as he gathers Wei Wuxian’s hair, tying it back with a gentleness that borders on reverence. He fixes Wei Wuxian’s robes next, smooths the fabric at his shoulders, precise and unhurried, as if this is something he’s done a thousand times before.
Since when?
When did they become this close?
Wei Wuxian leans in, murmurs something only Lan Wangji is meant to hear. He laughs softly, too softly and shameless as ever, tugs at Lan Wangji’s hair like the world isn’t watching.
OR : Wangxian are in love and Jiang Cheng is bitter and maybe, just maybe misses his brother(?).
