    "You really think I killed her?" Ballister's voice shattered more with each word as he looked the Prince, now soon-to-be King, in the eyes. The vibrant blues bore into Bal's own, tears faintly noticeable in the corners.
    Ballister refused to believe his eyes as his gaze fell to the sword pointed at his chest. There was a second of silence between the two before the Director made her way to the scene. Ballister was surrounded by knights he used to know by name. The walls of the courtyard that once made him feel at home now filled him with dread.

    His worst fears had already found him countless times over, but now he felt lost as he was the one at the end of Ambrosius' sword.
    "Go back to the shadows from whence you came, Ballister."
