    Cloud doesn't know why the God of Destruction demands for sacrifices, nor does he care. He just wants to drag him off his throne, and possibly make sure he can never hurt anyone else.
    It's quite hard to follow through with his goal. Partially because killing a god is a lot harder than Cloud expected, and partially because it turns out maybe Sephiroth wasn't so keen on hurting people as Cloud had assumed.
