Summary
While the world watched the Girl on Fire, Briella Mellark watched her brother burn.
This series follows eleven year old Briella, Peeta Mellark’s little sister, through the 74th Hunger Games and everything that comes after. While Panem focuses on victors and love stories, Briella is left in District 12 watching the broadcasts, holding her family together, and learning how to survive in the quiet.
The first book tells the Games from home, where survival means sitting still and trying to breathe while the world falls apart on a screen.
The second book explores what happens after Peeta returns. Victory does not fix what the arena broke, and Briella lives in constant fear that she could lose him again.
In the final instalment, as rebellion spreads across Panem and war reaches their doorstep, Briella has to figure out who she is outside of being someone’s little sister and what survival really means when everything changes.
