Summary
One day, Satoru woke up and spontaneously decided he would become Spider-man.
Well, okay, it wasn’t quite like that. It may have started when he heard Tsukumo Yuki’s words—via one very distressed Suguru—about how non-shaman’s account for nearly all curses. It also maybe started when he realized that shamanism is slowly choking out Satoru’s best friend. And it maybe started when he realized that Satoru is the greatest shaman in the world, but not everyone can happily spend their whole life exorcizing curses in return for constant suspicion, open hostility, and a certain degree of isolation that crept into every corner of their lives.
And so maybe, Satoru decided to take his own swing at this issue. If the cursed energy of non-shamans creates the rat-race cycle of curses, then why not mitigate that cursed energy at the source? And who else is perfect for defeating negativity than Spider-man?

“Just wake me up when we get there, bro. Or if you’re losing a fight against a fish.” Egg doesn’t feel guilty often, but he always feels a little bad when Wemmbu is visibly tired after a fight. Because he had to defend two people instead of himself. Block shots meant for Egg instead of just letting loose like he normally did.
He scoffs. “Who says I’m gonna lose? I’m Minecraft’s Greatest Fisherman.” Egg would’ve crossed his arms, but unfortunately, they’re occupied with paddling. But he imagines doing it.
“Whatever you say, bro.”
Or, no book warns Egg that if his best friend wants to die, there is absolutely nothing he can do to stop it.

Spending the Summer working at Kohaku's dad's shitty Stone Age themed juice bar isn't something Senku expected himself to still be doing at 19. He was 'supposed' to be in college by now, studying for a Physics degree. He was 'supposed' to still have his dad around. Now, coping with grief (poorly) and floundering (wonderfully) in the face of an uncertain future, there's a lot to re-evaluate.
So, when Taiju makes the epic Summer to-do list to end all epic Summer to-do lists in an effort to shake his friend out of burnout and get everyone back on Life's tracks, the impossible might be more in reach than Senku thought...with a little help from his friends.
