Summary
Vergil has been missing ever since the roots of the Qliphoth tree had been cut, which has brought an immense amount of stress on Dante, who's stuck between wondering what his twin could be planning and the foul mood of his nephew, who's still figuring out what it means to be part of this broken family. As if his personal problems weren't enough, Lady finds a new friend that is far from being trustworthy, who brings Dante a new mission: stopping a general from the Demon World from performing a ritual that could kill an entire city in the blink of an eye.

Summary
Evangeline, for her part, didn't see Dante as a father, but as a man. An attractive man, with a body sculpted by years of fighting, strong arms with marked veins, and a charisma that could melt anyone. Every morning, when he greeted her with that husky voice that gave her goosebumps—"Good morning, Princess, did you manage to rest?"—she felt a tingling she couldn't explain. The affectionate nicknames, the warm hugs, the soft kisses on her temple when they were alone... all that made her feel special, desired. Although she would never admit it, she loved it when he looked at her, that height difference between them made her feel intimidated, but also a sensation that traveled to her nether regions, causing a pleasant tingle (the fact that Dante was much older than her, his stature and his demonic strength that made him stronger than an ordinary human, was a fetish for her) when his gray eyes lingered for an extra second on her cleavage or the edge of her skirt.
Dante was not immune to the attraction. From the first moment, he couldn't see her as a daughter. She was a young, vibrant woman, with features that screamed her Sparda heritage, but also with a sensuality that disarmed him.
