Helena is already grabbing Christopher’s coat. “Come on, sweetheart. You’re coming home with us for a little while.”
Christopher frowns, blinking blearily up at her. “Nana? Wha-” He sits up taller, eyes darting between each of the adults in the room. “I’m not leaving my dad.”
“He’ll be okay, you’ll see him once he’s better.” Helena reassures, reaching down to squeeze his shoulder.
“Oh yes, I’m sure he’ll be fine waking up to find that you’ve taken his son to another state after almost dying. How could you both be so selfish?”
Chris is starting to look upset now, his lower lip trembling as he looks down at his father. “I don’t want to go to Texas.” he whispers, his hand resting on Eddie’s leg. Bobby’s heart pangs, and he’s about to finally speak up when another voice cuts into the tension of the room-
“You’re not going anywhere, Chris.”

AU / Canon divergence from end of 3rd year onwards where Bill surprises the Weasleys with a two-week visit.
Ron’s chat with Bill has a profound impact on the youngest Weasley boy and forces him to change his path.
The Triwizard tournament also has other competitions that give Ron a chance to test and prove himself.
Starts off pretty light and angsty as our heroes find their way but will get darker as it progresses. Will ensure that I try to add as much humour in my story as possible.
Endgame R/Hr but they'll be idiots about it.
Updates may be slow due to Ron Weasley & The Deathly Hallows.
In this fic, Voldemort and his Death Eaters aren’t simpletons making elementary mistakes, and our villain will eventually put up a show that will justify why people were afraid to utter his name. The trio will have their work cut out for them.
Also, I can't recommend Fate by TrueSpartan enough. Choices by Random Fruitcake was great too. A slightly different but an equally engaging work is Waking Up by Hillnerd.

Summary
Percy was four years old the first time his dreams led him to his many-great-grandmother’s chambers- a woman long dead yet somehow still seated in front of him, fingers grasping at her hair tightly as she wails about a wooden horse on the beach while her servants look on in pity. He feels the weight of something ancient and heavy settle on his shoulders in that moment.
He was in his 1st grade classroom when his teacher screamed at him for making up lies about gods and monsters and scaring the other children. He was eight when his mother's own visions become too much for her to bear.
He's at Yancy when Grover Underwood finally finds him and says "I believe you" for the first time. And as Percy begins to feel lighter, that ancient weight that has followed him his whole life slowly dissipating, he realizes that being believed can be just as horrifying as being thought mad.
