Summary
Three parallel stories, filling multiple requests: Rick's nurse - who is/was she - and could she live, a viable Shane/Lori story, Daryl/Michonne, Merle/Princess.
Will contain references to homophobia typical to small town Southern culture due to a past relationship between Shane and Rick during their late teens and college years.
Life is Unknowable: An OC nurse cares for Rick after the hospital massacre, but survives to help Rick. He doesn't go to Atlanta in time to find his family.
Life is Unthinkable: Without Rick, the quarry group will face a different future. The grief and emotions behind the Shane/Lori pairing will be actively explored.
Separate the Old Life From the New: The Dixons arrive at the Atlanta Refugee Center before it falls. They exit the city with Michonne and Andre, a partnership that makes both Dixons have to reevaluate past upbringing and Merle's racist ties.
Ignores webisodes as canon. No Woodbury, prison, or Terminus. Characters from any season are fair game. Children live.
All three groups will eventually end up on the Georgia Coast near/on the Golden Isles around the time of Judith's birth.

Summary
"Few stories were told of Nienna, not because she was not loved, but because she was loved too much. Those elves who dwelled in Valinor knew her sorrows and did not pry at them. Her part in the stories of others was glossed over, her name whispered gently, her tale left unspoken and unrecorded. Such was the respect given to her, for all people might need pity some day.
If an exile from over the sea needed to learn, or a new child asked, they were shared only snippets of thought, memories, echoes of what was told perhaps only once long ago.
These were the things that were not said."

“Among the bones of dinosaurs, the orcs made a home.“
Easily the most Tolkien-like sentence I’ve read in a fanfic. 11/10 -

Summary
"I’m only lightly armed and it’s just the two of us.” He had barely thought to bring a sword, the valley felt safe even under siege.
Erestor turned to stare at him from the shadow of an ancient oak, his eyes a-glitter in the low light. “You’ve fought wargs and orcs and all sorts of humans,” he pointed out. “And a balrog. You’re an army all wrapped up in one package. Come on.”
There was no point in arguing once Erestor got an idea in his head.

The water madness took Bella Baggins's mother. She's determined not to let it take her too.
Unfortunately, that's a lot easier said than done. Particularly on an adventure.
