    “Do you think it’s weird that you call me kid?” Peter asks, sitting up from where he’d been lying in a blanket of leaves.

    “I can stop,” Tony says instead of answering.

    Peter thinks about it and decides, “No, it’s okay. I still call you Mr. Stark, sometimes.”

    “Old habits die hard,” Tony agrees. Peter reaches out a hand straight up into the air, and Tony takes it, hauling Peter to his feet. Peter dusts himself off as Tony watches with an air of amusement. “Ready to head home?”
