Summary
Harry turns away from staring into Louis' eyes and looks at the paintings instead. They say that eyes are the key to one’s soul and although he finds that saying to be a stupid cliche, he’d still hate the ever tiny possibility of Louis finding out the reason behind his sudden need to paint after years of stopping the habit.
He’d hate for Louis to find out that he wasn’t painting sunsets or sunrises at all when he’d held the brush to the canvas, something akin to carnal need taking hold of his limbs and making him finish almost ten cans of paint .
In his mind, all he saw was Louis.
In his mind, he was painting Louis.Harry loves a human. Louis loves a werewolf. They live in a world where the monsters who hunt them down aren't monsters at all. Louis lives for the day he can tilt the world right on its head. Harry just lives for Louis.

Harry knows Louis is gay. Hell, he came out to Harry exactly two months ago (when the dreadful dry spell started) because it was becoming increasingly hard to hide the fact that his one night stands were men. And, you know, they’re best friends so there aren’t supposed to be secrets and all that.
Thing is, Louis told Harry he’s gay ergo, Harry is aware that Louis likes men. Why the fuck did he act so normal while fingering him three days ago, then? Is this something straight guys do to their gay best friends in Harry’s world?
Louis would really like to know.
