Summary
Nami forms a magical contract with a yokai, agrees to break a curse on his friend, and that's not even counting all the work she has to do for her shop and to fulfill her own magical contract. Nami welcomes the challenge, though, hoping that if she can break the curse on Luffy then she'll be able to break other magical bonds. It takes time to break a curse as powerful as the one on Luffy, and Nami gets to know him and Zoro. She knows better than to get attached, knows she's not meant for friends or connections in the life she has, but she can't help herself.

Luffy, as King, is expected to visit their allies from time to time. And since those allies are also their friends, he’s happy to do so! Zoro will never complain about his place at Luffy’s side, but having to leave Nami behind to run their little Kingdom- and Sanji as well, to keep her company- means their cohort is split in two. Letters will have to do, until they can get back home.
