Caitlyn is an aspiring blade runner that gets put on a job that doesn't exceed her potential, but allows her to uncover a truth that will change history.
Vi wastes away in grief of what could have been if she had not taken that job that led her to run away from the people she loves in hopes to keep them safe from the law.
Vi entrusted a group of rebellious replicants to keep her sister-Powder- safe after fallowing her on her last job. She got hurt by getting tangled up in an invasion and is now uncovering a truth of who Vi and Powder's parents were and why they are important to their very DNA.
A blade runner AU that shows that even in the most unlikely places you can find love and forgive yourself of the past.

Caitlyn's eyes are staring into hers and Vi is eleven years old again, when Vander took her stargazing and taught her a trick to switch your perspective so that the stars are below you instead of above and it feels like there’s nothing at all stopping you from falling into them.
“S’alright, Cupcake. Had worse,” Vi mumbles as her eyelids begin to flutter, but she’s not sure if that’s true. She hasn’t felt this numbness before, the one spilling all over her chest and throat and there’s a thick fog filling her mind and something is pounding harsh and fast in her ears.

One year since toxic gases poured through the streets of Piltover. One year since Ambessa Medarda declared Martial Law on the so-called Nation of Zaun. One year since Jayce Talis disappeared.
