Jeongguk has always had a hard time believing in love at first sight and soulmates and all that silly stuff Namjoon is always going on about. It's ridiculous to think that you can fall in love at first sight - love takes a whole lot more effort than just looking at a person.
Not that Jeongguk knew all there was to know about love, exactly.
His dating track record reads kind of like a terrible reality television show, littered with unmentionables and undesirables he'd rather not think about ever again. And he's getting lonely - starting to feel like a cynical soul who doesn't believe in love at all.
Which is how he ends up letting Namjoon set him up on a blind date despite his better judgement.
Will his date somehow convince him that love at first sight and soulmates are a real thing? Namjoon is convinced he will - Jeongguk not so much.
