Chapter Text
Fred and George sat together in their shared room, a large piece of parchment in front of them and a quill in each of their hands a ink bottle between them.
"So how're we gunna go about this, Fred?" George asked.
"Well, even got a while until we can start creating the products and there's no way we could get the building yet." Fred said. "So let's just start with brainstorming names and how we could design everything. Okay?" George nodded, bending over his parchment his tongue sticking out in his concentration.
"Fred! George!" A little voice yelled. "Mummy wants you!"
"What does mum want, Ron?!" Fred and George yelled together.
Ron burst into their room. "Dunno. Whatcha doin'?"
"None ya." The twins said together. "Now get out so we can go see what mum wants."
"What-" Fred started.
"-Do you-" George continued.
"-Want." Fred finished. They couldn't help but think that their mother looked livid 'What do you think she's mad about, Georgie?'
'Don't know.'
'Probably that prank you pulled a Ginny.'
"Boys." Molly said, her voice low and deadly like a viper ready to strike. "I want to know why. Why did you mess with your sister like that? What on earth could have compelled you to do such a thing!?"
Fred and George winced. "We're sorry mum, honestly. It was just to get a laugh from her, really. She usually always laughs at our pranks."
Molly took a few deep breathes trying to calm herself down. "Boys, don't ever do that again. Do you have any idea how long it took me to calm her down? Your little prank practically ruined her doll as well as got in her hair it was so bad I had to cut it! Do not ever do that again!"
Fred and George looked down. "We promise mum. We won't do it ever again. We don't want to hurt Ginny, honest."
"Alright I believe you." Molly said. "Now go apologize to your sister and wash up, dinner's almost ready.
George sat in the grass just outside the burrow with Fred not to far. "Come on you two!" Bill yelled. "Don't you want to play some quidditch(1) with your big brother?!"
"No thanks." They both yelled back.
"Fred who do you think the others are?" George asked, Fred shrugged. "Do you think that they'll be older or younger then us? Do you think they'll be split like us?"
"I don't know, Georgie." Fred said. "I don't think it really matters either. As long as they except us then I'm fine with who ever they are or what ever they are."
George sighed, shrugging. "I guess... But what if they don't except us?"
'Don't be silly. Of course they'll except you. Well, Godric may have a little trouble, but your rivalry is legendary and is still known of today.' Salazar said.
'Yeah... and the Gryffindor and Slytherin houses hate each other.' George thought, Fred mentally nodded in agreement with his brother. 'Bill and Charlie tell us about it whenever we ask.'
'I'm aware. I'm in your heads, I'm apart of your very souls. And I and Godric certainly didn't want things to get so bad so I apologize on our behalves.' Salazar said.
'You don't have to do that, it's not like either of you knew it would happen.' Fred thought.
'Yes, well I still feel need to apologize.' Salazar said. Fred and George gave him a mental nod each.
