Summary
Hermitcraft is a place of sanctuary. It's a place of acceptance and love, of healing. A place to leave your past behind surrounded by friends and family who will love you through it all. For some Hermits, that love is easier to accept than others.

Descriptions are hard, this is basically my rambling fics that strike my fancy as I work through Hermitcraft. Mostly focused on Grian because that man is too easy to put in pain, but other hermits may have the spotlight, depending on what my muse feels like doing.

Summary
The Hermits' pasts before donning the title of "Hermit" vary greatly. Some don't remember, others do but just don't talk about it because why should they, and a few even tell grand tales of their previous explorations into the vast world of different servers.
One Hermit, however, can recall his past in immense detail and would really appreciate it if he could be one of the ones that forgets it at some point. Unfortunately, with the way life has kicked him down over and over again, it wasn't going to let him off that easily.
Eventually, he'll learn there's one key difference he has today compared to before: he's not alone.

Grian wasn’t sure what hit him harder: the second name that was spoken, making him pause, or the large metal arm that brained him over the back of the head, making him lose the rest of his health.
How would you react if a best friend you thought was dead came back to life? Probably better than Grian, that's for sure

Summary
Starting out on Hermitcraft only knowing Mumbo was hard enough. But then there was also Doc. Doc, who was huge and intimidating already. Whose Creeperness set off Grians avian fight or flight instincts if he even looked in his direction. And who seemed to have a personal bone to pick with him courtesy of Grian being a Watcher.
