hello! this fic is hugely an experiment in the latest update to Harlowe markup, which added a bunch of cool features I wanted to play with, but also, did you know that total isolation and lack of stimuli can cause a human to start hallucinating within three days? i didn't!
content tags are not exhaustive. Choose Not To Warn is there for a reason. user discretion is advised.
shoutout to my beta wife and beta testers who were INCREDIBLY helpful in finding placeholder text where it wasn't supposed to be. it should be (mostly) free of bugs and broken links now. there is a back button in case of disaster, but I highly recommend avoiding using it, just in case it breaks the code. unlike the prison realm, each page should have an exit.
