The Last Supper

Summary:

Jesus, an alpha, and Judas, an omega, were lovers. One night, while Jesus is out with the other apostles, Satan goes to Judas and tricks him into sleeping with him. Afraid of facing Jesus, the omega turns in the alpha to the Romans and Pontius Pilate which leads to his death (if you're here, I assume you know the story). But Judas is also pregnant as told to him by Gabriel and he gets a chance to tell the alpha that he is carrying their child.

Notes:

This was a cursed idea. Probably the most cursed idea that I have ever had. So now here I am writing Omegaverse Alpha Jesus/Omega Judas fanfiction that no one asked for.

See you on the other side, Dolphstrich out.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

It was supposed to be a one-time thing. Just a tumble together in between towns one night. John was subtly rejecting Jesus’ advances and Jesus was tired of chasing after him. So Judas had welcomed the Son of God into his bed and his arms.

One time turned into two, then three. Time after time Jesus fell into Judas’ arms and Judas welcomed the alpha every time. The alpha made him feel special, which made the omega preen with pride that the Son of God chose him and kept choosing him time and time again. Jesus may spend most of the day with Peter, James, and John, but at night, Jesus was Judas’. They weren’t mated or bonded, but they were together.

“I’m going out with some of the others tonight,” the alpha said nuzzling into Judas one night, “I’ll be back later.”

“Stay?” Judas asked even though he knew the answer.

After pressing a soft kiss to Judas’ forehead, Jesus sighed and shook his head, “I promised and I try to keep my promises.”

Judas gave him a peck on the lips, “Then go. I will wait for you here.” And then Jesus was gone.

Later, after the sun had gone down and lamps had been lit with oil, Judas heard a knock on the door to his room. Confused, he answered and his nose was assaulted with a heavy alpha scent.

In front of him was Jesus.

“You’re back early,” he said surprised.

Jesus entered his space and scented him with a quick swipe of his wrists across Judas’ cheek.

“I changed my mind,” he said, his voice low and gravely. It sent a chill up Judas’ spine.

“You seem different,” Judas said, “Are you alright?”

“Just had a bit to drink is all,” Jesus said as his breath started to carry the sweet notes of wine in it.

Judas wanted to question him some more, but the man in front of him was so tempting and tantalizing. He tilted his head up, exposing his neck - a sign of submission.

“Take me to bed, Jesus,” he breathed out, “Take me to bed and make me yours as you’ve done many times before.”

Jesus growled as he picked him up and carried him to the bed.

Judas lay on Jesus’ chest after, he sighed contently and pressed a kiss to his lips.

“I’m glad you changed your mind,” he said getting comfortable in the alpha’s arms.

“No,” Jesus said with a slight snarl, “I’m glad you didn’t figure it out.”

Judas’ instincts started screaming at him that he was in danger. He leaped off of Jesus and backed away to the other end of the bed.

“Who are you?” he demanded.

Jesus chuckled darkly as a cruel look entered his eyes, “Silly omega, I am Satan.”

Judas blinked and then the man he had just been with was no longer Jesus. The Devil himself sat in front of him now.

“A trick,” he whimpered, “And I failed to see it too.”

Satan laughed and got up. His overpowering aura filled the room.

“Guess you really aren’t as faithful as you say,” the intruding alpha growled, “We’ll see whose you really are in good time.” With a final laugh, Satan left - the faint scent of brimstone hung in the air.

Judas felt sick. He barely made it off the bed and out the window before his dinner came up. Satan was a powerful alpha - a deity whose seed would be more potent than the seed of a demigod like Jesus. His hand settled on his stomach before lowering to where his womb would be. It was entirely likely that he was now carrying the spawn of Satan.

The next few days are hard. Jesus came back after going out with the other apostles and had commented on the change in Judas’ scent. Judas had brushed it off as not feeling well and sent Jesus off to his own room - shrugging off the real alphas’ advances.

Judas’ inner turmoil about what had happened ate at him. He couldn’t let Jesus know what had happened, so he plotted and planned.

Judas executed his plan on Passover - it would be Jesus’ last supper.

“I still say that you smell different,” Jesus murmured in Judas’ ear, “Still you, still us. But also different.” It was the closest Judas had allowed Jesus to be in a while and the alpha was getting all that he could from the closeness that Judas was allowing.

Judas blushed and looked away, ashamed of what had transpired, “Nothing for you to be concerned about,” he said, “You should go. Peter, James, and John are bound to be looking for you.” He turned and walked away to the other end of the table. He could feel the confusion rolling off of the alpha. Judas’ omega whined and he resisted turning around. Finally, he felt Jesus’ gaze leave him and Judas let out the breath he hadn’t realized he had been holding.

Later, everyone took their seats and Jesus remained standing.

“One of you will betray me tonight,” Jesus said meeting everyone’s eyes, he held his gaze with Judas for a half-second longer, sadness evident in his gaze. “I do not know why you will betray me, whoever you are. Be it greed, envy, or even the influence of Satan himself, know that I forgive you.”

Jesus picked up some bread and wine and lead them through communion and then they ate.

Half=way through the meal, there was a knock at the door before the Romans came barreling into the room.

Judas stood and felt everyone’s eyes on him.

“The one who I kiss is him,” Judas forced out. Stiffly, he walked over to Jesus.

“I am sorry,” he whispered as he pressed his lips softly against Jesus’. Jesus kissed him back before they parted and stood, “I am the one you seek.”

All at once, the Romans surrounded them and arrested Judas’ alpha. The omega watched as his lover was led away to his death. He could vaguely hear the shouts of the other apostles as they demanded to know what just transpired. Judas shook them off and left out the back - he couldn’t face them after what he had done.

Jesus was crucified. Judas was appalled by it. He was never supposed to be crucified, but Pontius Pilate had sentenced him to crucifixion.

Judas watched from behind a tree as his love endured the pain until he died on the cross. He wept as they came to bury him in a tomb where no one else could harm him again. Where Judas wouldn’t be able to harm him again.

That night, the night after Jesus was laid to rest in his tomb with the giant boulder in place, Judas was visited by Gabriel in his dreams.

“Do not be afraid, Judas,” the angel said, “For I am Gabriel and I come bearing good news.”

“What good news could you possibly have for me? I killed him. I’m the reason he is gone.”

The angel sighed and gave him a pointed look. For a moment, he looked like he would break formality and speak plainly, but the moment passed and he went back to his normal professional, self. “He has not left you Judas,” Gabriel said, “Not completely, for he has left a piece of himself inside you.”

Judas’ hand flew to his belly, “Do not tell me lies, angel. I-” his words faltered, “I laid with Satan. There’s no way that he’s still with me now.”

Gabriel sighed again and pressed on, “You are with his child, Judas. He will never leave you now.”

Judas gasped, “I am with child? I’m carrying Jesus’ child?” He shot Gabriel a questioning look.

“Tell me the truth,” Judas said his eyes filling with tears, “Did I send the sire, the father of my child to his death? My child will grow up fatherless, and it’s all my fault.”

Gabriel looked pressed, “A child of Jesus grows within you. Consider it a gift and sign of forgiveness from the Lord and Jesus.” And then Gabriel was gone.

Judas then woke in a cold sweat. He sat up and placed his hand on his stomach as he had done in his dream. A child - he was with child and Jesus was the father.

Again, Judas wept over the death of his love.

Three days after his death, there was news that Jesus was alive and seen walking on water at the beach.

Judas gasped at the news and rushed out to the shore. He saw Jesus surrounded by others who were happy to see him. Judas was about to turn around and leave - having seen that he was indeed alive - when Jesus met his eyes.

Judas felt time stop. His gaze was just as captivating as it was when they met. For a moment, everything felt alright and like everything would be okay. Jesus made his way over to where Judas stood. The alpha’s scent washed over Judas as he grew closer.

“Judas,” Jesus breathed out.

“Jesus,” Judas said tilting his head to expose his neck, “Forgive me alpha for my past transgressions. I am yours if you’ll have me.”

Jesus sighed and cupped his cheek carefully guiding his head back into an upright position. “Not here. Not now,” Jesus said, “But later we will talk.”

Judas nodded and Jesus moved off from him.

Later that night, Jesus came to his door and Judas let him in.

He wanted to kiss him and scent him and be scented by him, but he knew he didn’t deserve it, not after everything he did.

Judas knelt at Jesus’ feet and cast his eyes to the ground - a position of submission.

“Judas,” Jesus’ easy voice said, “Rise and talk to me as an equal, please.”

Judas got up and saw the same longing in Jesus’ eyes as he felt.

“I’m sorry,” Judas said again, “I was afraid. Satan tricked me with an illusion of you and I failed to realized he wasn’t you.”

“I know all about it,” Jesus said stopping him, “The last three days in Hell has been me yelling at my Uncle for what he did to you. All is forgiven.”

And with that, Jesus pulled Judas into his arms. The omega sighed contently and relaxed in the alpha’s arms.

“Despite that,” Judas said slowly, “I do have good news.”

Jesus looked down at him with thoughtful eyes, “I think I know what it is, but I won’t take that from you. Go ahead Judas.”

“I’m pregnant,” Judas breathed out, offering Jesus a smile, “I’m pregnant with your child.”

Jesus captured Judas’ lips with his and let out a happy growl, his chest rumbling from the vibrations.

“I forgive you,” Jesus said after they finally parted, ‘I forgive you my sweet omega.”

Judas blushed and looked down at the ground.

“Are you staying,” he asked - knowing full well that there was a bigger plan for Jesus than staying to raise their child.

The alpha shook his head, “Unfortunately, I am not. I am leaving again to join my father.”

Judas couldn’t help but let out a whine - but he supposed that this was a fair enough punishment for betraying Jesus. At least he got to tell him about their child.

“I’ll miss you,” Judas said softly.

Jesus kissed him again.

“I’ll always be with you,” he said as he knelt so that his face was parallel to Judas’ stomach - where their child grew inside him.

Jesus lifted Judas’ tunica and pressed a kiss against his bare stomach, “I’ll always be with both of you.”

“Spend one last night with me,” Judas asked, pleading with his eyes, “Please.”

Jesus pressed another soft kiss to Judas’ stomach before standing.

“Okay,” he said offering Judas a soft smile.

The next morning, Judas and Jesus walked out to the shore, hand in hand. The sun was slowly rising and Judas would have loved to watch it rise with his alpha.

But Jesus had to go.

One last kiss, one last hug, and then Judas watched as the father of his child walked out across the water to beyond the horizon.

Jesus paused and looked back at Judas, a soft smile dancing across his face - and then he was gone. Judas stared at the spot where his alpha disappeared from for a moment longer. His hand moved from his side and rested on his still flat stomach where their child grew.

He whispered out another apology and let his tears fall once more.
