Well Shen Jiu will make sure he does, trust me.

Notes:

Hey !! This is my first JiuPlane story and I have to admit I'm a little nervous!
This is a story I've been planning since January!
I have decided that I will post twice a month, starting with this April 10!
I also want to point out that my chapters will each be more than a thousand words, not more because I'm not very good at writing long chapters.
I hope you are all ready to live this adventure with me!
Also, i am not British/American so please, if you can't understand a word, don't forget that I am not a native English.

Chapter 1: Prologue

Chapter Text

╔═.✵.═══ - ═══════╗

"- I have to hurry ! I have to post the last chapter soon!”

Sitting on a desk, writing as many words as he could with his injured hands, a young man in his early twenties was busy writing the final chapter of his stallion novel.

Granted, he originally didn't expect the plot to die out and porn to become mainstream but he had no choice! He was a young man barely twenty years old who had to pay his rent.

And given the fact that his parents would rather forget that they had already been married and had no problem forgetting their only common child, the young man named Wu ZiYin was struggling in debt, his only saving grace was his novel. He typically wrote over ten thousand words each day but most of his expenses were solely for his rent and making sure he had enough food for the rest of the month.

Wu ZiYin was tired but he had no choice.

He got up before heading to his shabby kitchen, he knew how to cook but with his poor salary he couldn't cook and at this point he only ate noodles because it was the only thing he could afford .

He boiled some water before pouring it into his cup of noodles to go. He stirred his noodles before delicately lifting his cup to go sit in front of his computer, with his noodles in front of him.

He returned to his writing while stopping to eat.

“- Argh! I keep getting stuck on this part! I have to finish this before midnight and it's already 10:30 p.m.! ”

In his fury, he knocked his hot mug over the multiple sockets around him. He felt his body go numb, he couldn't breathe, he was in so much pain!

Wu ZiYin closed his eyes never to open them again in this world.

 ⊰᯽⊱┈──╌❊ - ❊╌──┈⊰᯽⊱

Wu ZiYin opened his eyes when he heard what sounded like Google's voice.

“- System 993 welcomes the Creator, System 993 is here to experience many adventures with the master!”

"- What..." Wu ZiYin blurted out, his eyes opening with difficulty.

Wu ZiYin opened his eyes, to see himself appear in a zero-gravity space where he was floating.

"- Waits ! Where am I and who are you?” Wu ZiYin babbles, completely panicked.

“- Welcome Author, this System is System 993, it is here to help Author settle into his new home!”

 "- Which house ?"

 “- Your Novel of course!”

"- Waits !? Am I going to be a transmigrator? This is so cool !"

Wu ZiYin was completely excited! He was going to transmigrate into his own novel, into a PNG maybe? He hoped it would be a PNG, he didn't want to die.

 He couldn't believe his ears.

“- This System wishes you good luck, Author!”

Wu ZiYin closed his eyes, expecting to open his eyes in a dream he still couldn't believe.

 ⊰᯽⊱┈──╌❊ - ❊╌──┈⊰᯽⊱

Wu ZiYin opened her eyes with difficulty to see the face of a rather young woman, who seemed to be holding her new baby body against her.

"What were you going to call him?" Asked the doctor, who was standing beside his new mother.

 "- I'll call him..."

Wu ZiYin waited impatiently, his eyes shining with anticipation.

 “- Shang Hua...” She finished.

Wu ZiYin started crying, he knew it was too good to be true.

He had transmigrated into a character of cannon fodder and not just any, I mean, Shang Hua courtesy of Qīnghuá, the traitor of his sect and rat who ends up being killed by Mobei Jun himself, when he tried to betray him with the uncle of the young king of the north.

How was he going to survive?

Chapter 2: 一

Chapter Text

╔╦══• •✠•❀ - ❀•✠ • •══╦╗

Whether in this life or in the first, Wu ZiYin had never had much luck.

As a child, his mother had wanted to make him one of those “P E R F E C T” children, who were so popular at the time.

She had enrolled him in many school activities since the tender age of four.

Activities such as martial arts, gymnastics, ballet, cooking classes, and even at some point learning to play instruments.

The instruments with which he succeeded best were the erhu¹, the pipa² as well as the Guqin³.

It only stopped when he was 15, when his parents divorced.

He had then been installed in an apartment by his father with two small allowances from his parents even if it was barely enough to pay his rent, this is where Wu ZiYin had started to work.

Her first job had been as a babysitter, then as a cook, chocolatier, make-up artist, pharmacist, and even a farmer and florist for a little while. And while working, he had to juggle school and work.

Even if he didn't really like to work, he also liked to learn, and with each of his new jobs, he learned new things.

Due to his constantly tight schedule and being socially awkward, he had no friends, with most people he knew being only acquaintances.

Later, while looking for information for one of his theses, he was immersed in the world of web novels.

And he had the idea to start writing but as he started publishing his novel, readers kept influencing him to write a harem book.

And then by publishing the last chapter of his novel, 20 years old, eating noodles, alone and without friends, without love and without family, he ends up accidentally spilling his noodles on his computer and thus ending up electrocuted to death.

So yeah, his first life wasn't very good.

His second life had begun when he opened his eyes to his new mother, and honestly? It wasn't any better than the first one, but at least it allowed him to blend in with his new habitat, which was apparently the trash stallion novel he had written.

On top of that, he had a system that monitored his actions and gestures while giving him little points rewarded missions that he was trying to rack up to hopefully defrost the “00C” mode.

In his current body, he was only 7 years old, the son of a long line of boys.

He was also considered the unloved, unwanted brat, and weakest-looking even though he was also known as one of the smartest.

He also did a lot of physical exercise because he knew that when he reached An Ding⁴ Peak of the Cong Qiong Mountain Sect, he was going to need it badly.

His system had actually told him that many things he had kept in his drafts were going to happen.

This means that if he wanted to become An Ding⁴'s chief disciple, he would have to find allies and stage a coup. And knowing him, it won't be too complicated.

One of the many ideas he had saved for An Ding⁴ was that the older generation of Peak Lords to whom his future Shizun belongs had a bad habit of picking up rambunctious disciples and simply throwing them at An Ding.

By promising them a space where they will be free to practice whatever they want to do, he will easily gain allies.

For the disciples of Qian Cao⁵, he would offer them a fairly large hospital that they would operate around the Peak.

For the disciples of Wan Jian⁶, he would offer them a very large forge which will be used to create spiritual weapons, reserved only for An Ding⁴ Peak.

For the disciples of Bai Zhan⁷, he will ask them to supervise the training of the disciples of An Ding⁴ on the creation of their golden core, until the process of the completion of the new soul⁸.

For the disciples of Xian Shu⁹, he will let them have fun like they couldn't on their old Peak.

As for the disciples of Zui Xian¹⁰, an alcohol fermentation farm and the chance to sell it and get rich with it should be enough to convince them.

For those of the other Peaks well, he will find out later.

 “- A'HUA, COME HERE!! ”

Shang Hua sighed, it looks like he was going to have to rest later.

“I'm coming Muqin¹¹!” A'Hua replied annoyed.

Shang Hua soon found himself in front of his progenitor, Shang LuFang. A haughty woman who thought she deserved more than the poverty she lived in.

When he had explored by writing about Shang QingHua's past, this woman had always highly repelled him.

She had tried several times to expel him and succeeded when he was 9 years old.

This was also the reason for Shang Hua to slowly and surely collect money as well as clothes and other necessities that will allow him to wait to celebrate his 11th birthday and his entry into An Ding⁴.

 ⊰᯽⊱┈──╌❊ - ❊╌──┈⊰᯽⊱

Shang Hua had just finished the chores that his mother's atrocity had ordered him to do, he put his things away before going to take a quick bath in a lake which was near the house where he lived.

Yes, he didn't consider this house his “home”, sincerely, Shang Hua doesn't think he's ever had a home.

When he was a child he stayed with his parents, when they divorced Shang Hua started to live alone and later he was so tired that he didn't notice that he had stopped considering his apartment as his home. small corners, which he had paid with his own salary, he was only 15 years old.

Shang Hua was humming a light song which he didn't remember the name of but which seemed comforting to him as if it would reassure him if he was in one of his old panic attacks.

He bathes quickly before drying off and getting dressed quickly to go back to his place in the house where he lives for the moment.

Shang Hua just had to wait for the opportunity to leave, he had to wait to gain the freedom he longed for.

Author's Notes: I hope you enjoy chapter one, as I started writing this story, I wanted to discuss Shang Hua's growth in the world of PIDW as well as the beginning of his relationship with Org! Shen Qing Qiu. They're a fairly rare couple who definitely don't have enough love. And I think they deserve it.

The next chapter will be available on May 08!

Chapter 3: 二

Chapter Text

╔═.✵.═══ - ═══════╗

Today had been 9 years since Shang Hua had been born into the world of PIDW, and it had given him a one-week countdown to leave.

His dear mother had already started to be more convincing in trying to convince his 'father' to send him away so he wouldn't contaminate his precious boys.

Not like he wanted to, he hated them and wished them a lot of harm in their future lives.

Shang Hua had just finished his small bag where his things were delicately stored.

Some of his clothes which were a bit small but would be useful for the job as well as some larger ones which he shamelessly took to his older brothers' room were neatly folded and ironed.

On top were two sacks filled with the money he had been collecting since he was five years old, as well as food that would keep for a few days, and a knife (because you never know when it will be). might need it) he also had two large fur jackets that he had taken without problem from his older brother, Shang Qi who was dumber than his feet.

He dressed quickly without making a sound, quickly braiding his hair before quickly putting on his shoes and lifting his bag without making a sound and slipping into the forest near his home without anyone noticing him.

In Shang Hua's hands was a map of the surroundings of his village and beyond, which allowed him to see that he had to cross all the forest he had entered, pass through a small village and then through a trail before arriving in the city of Ku Chun (苦春) which happened to be the village where the mountain range of the Cong Qiong Mountain sect was located.

What no one knew, other than the creator of his world was that in the forest that was next to Ku Chun, there was a chain of networks intended to hide a magnificent two-story house with fields filled with more grass. incredible and rare than anything else.

It had belonged to an aggrieved disciple of Bai Zhuo Peak¹, who was an orphan and was bullied for it while being one of his Peak's best disciples and loved healing as a hobby.

He had even been considered as a potential Chief Disciple, unfortunately he died on a mission while not informing anyone of his hidden home. According to Shang Hua's calculations, the house had been empty for barely 5 years.

He took a deep breath before starting to walk in the directions the map gave him.

It took him 20 minutes to get out, and he knew it could have been less if he hadn't nearly gotten lost several times.

It was barely midnight when he began to head calmly towards Xīng shù [星树] village which was warmly calm.

It was late and Shang Hua needed to rest, so he walked towards a tree he had spotted near the village which seemed to have a hole that a child his age alone could enter so he stepped inside, exited one of the furry jackets from his bag and so snuggled up to fall asleep with a smug look on his face.

 ✩。:•.───── ❁ - ❁ ─────.•:。✩

Shang Hua opened his eyes to the sun that lit up his face. According to the position of the sun, it was barely eight o'clock in the morning.

While rubbing his eyes, he folded his fur jacket into his bag before opening one of his money purses and taking out a few coins so he could buy some meat and vegetable Baozis². which will serve him for the duration of his trip to Ku Chun.

Coming out of the trunk that had sheltered him during the night, he could see a water point that he had not seen the day before.

So he walked over to him before carefully washing his face and tying that hair up in a bun.

He had to hurry, because he had no doubt that soon, his mother will start looking for him to work on his chores and will notice that he is no longer there and he would like to get out of this village as soon as possible.

He therefore headed towards the village with a determined step, greeted an old lady on the way who greeted him politely before carefully heading towards one of the stands which sell hot Bāozi², perfect for a breakfast to eat on the road.

He stopped in front of the nearest stand before the salesman saw him and asked:

“- What can I do for you, child? ” he asked, gray hair and beard, counting the adventures as well as the trials of a long life.

Shang Hua handed him two silver stones before asking.

“- How many Meat and Vegetable Bāozi² can I buy with this? ”

The salesman hissed when he saw the stones in my hands.

“- You can buy five meat and five vegetable Bāozi². I will even put three Yuèbǐng³ and three Mántou⁴ on the house. ”

"- Really ! Shang Hua blurted out, surprised.

“- You look like a good boy to me and you don't look like you're here, so I can tell you're traveling. Hoping this food can help you on your journey. ”

Shang Hua thanked him while bowing appropriately to the salesman.

“- This one thanks Xiānshēng⁵ for his gift!”

Shang Huā put his food which was safe in a small wooden box in his bag while leaving a bāozi and a mantou outside so that he could eat them.

He thanked the salesman again before continuing on the road.

It took him an hour to get out of the village of Xīng shù, while eating his mántou and humming music that had been produced by one of his favorite former singers, that he will probably never see again, Mélanie Martinez.

“- I know I'm young, but my mind is well beyond my years ~

I knew this wouldn't last, but fuck you, don't you leave me here~”

He took the risk of singing because he knew that here, nobody spoke English so nobody would understand what he was singing with passion.

“- Running through the parking lot, he chases me and he wouldn't stop.

Tag you're it Tag Tag, you're it ~”

He wisely continued on his way, knowing that he was almost at his destination.

A few steps from his new home.

Chapter 4: 三

Chapter Text

╔═══❖•ೋ° - °ೋ•❖═══╗

Shang Hua had just arrived in Ku Chun Town, he had recently walked off the path he had to cross to reach the village, and he was exhausted.

It was nearly nine o'clock at night when he arrived at his destination and he knew that now he had to head for the forest and then to his new home so he could rest, so he took a deep breath before resuming the walk. .

A few minutes later, he was standing in what looked like a most normal clearing but was actually the door connecting the house and the forest.

Shang Hua concentrated, took a deep breath before gathering some spiritual energy and letting out the password from the portal revealing a large opening that revealed a rather large two-storey Chinese-style house made of wood and wood. iron.

You could also see the fields from where Shang Hua was.

He walked cautiously towards the house, letting the gate close behind him.

He could see from where he was that the house wasn't covered in dust like he had assumed.

He hadn't written it down but maybe the previous owner had used or can create something that left the house clean and trouble free.

He sincerely hoped that he had, it would save him from having to clean the whole house, especially with his current size, which was absolutely impractical.

He headed for the front door before carefully opening the door and stepping inside.

The entrance was pleasant, airy and had the potential for sunshine in the pleasant morning, perfect for illuminating the porch that stood opposite the entrance.

Shang Hua visited the whole house and found it absolutely perfect and suited to his taste.

The house was beautifully decorated in shades of blues, blacks and silver details.

He tidied up what was in front of him a bit before he went to find the master bedroom to set up his things.

He ate three meat bāozi, two vegetable bāozi and even a yuèbǐng before drinking some water from his canteen to cool off while changing into his night clothes.

He brushed his hair, pulling it into tight braids, able to resist his movements during the night.

He was exhausted from his trip and needed to rest.

So he made himself comfortable in the warm sheets waiting for him before quickly dozing off, finding himself happily wandering around in the kingdom of Morpheus.

✩。:•.───── ❁ - ❁ ─────.•:。✩

Shang Hua woke up with the sun illuminating his face.

He got up from the bed, yawned before starting to do simple stretches that would help him through the day.

After having finished with stretching, he left to wash his face, combed his hair quickly and put on one of the little clothes he had specially brought for this occasion.

He quickly made his bed and tidied his room before going down to the dining room.

He quickly ate a yuèbǐng as well as a mántou before going to check the places he hadn't seen or check the day before.

He therefore went to the barn and found the tools intended for agriculture which stood there, in a fairly good condition.

To his surprise, he lifted them with ease, which could only mean that the previous owner had most likely engraved paintings and talismans on almost all of his property and on these belongings to make his life easier this time around, who also made Shang Hua's life easier in return.

After all, thanks to this, almost all of the house's belongings were preserved and ready to be used.

After seeing that he had everything he was going to need, he headed for the medicinal herb fields which was a little way from the house.

He spotted several common herbs and several quite rare ones, one of which was extremely difficult to find was Angel's Ark¹, a medicinal plant which, if taken weekly for a month, could rectify the damage afflicted to the golden core and its meridians.

He remembers that it is the plant which could have helped Shen QingQiu to rectify his core as well as his meridians.

Well, maybe Shang Hua could keep some for himself..?

This will allow him to contact him and thus perhaps become his friend..?

If there was one character that Shang Huā regretted the most, it would be him, Shen Jiu (Shen QingQiu).

If he had published the original version of his novel, perhaps Shen QingQiu would have received the love that should have belonged to him.

When he was writing his novel, he wanted an antagonist who was equally loved and hated like other antagonists such as Lord Voldemort from the Harry Potter Series and many others.

He had written the most tragic childhood for a perfect novel antagonist but in the end, no one but him got the truth about the childhood, long and horrible life of the slave named Shen Jiu, then no one didn't want to mingle with the imperturbable cold and lustful immortal, Shen QingQiu.

Without knowing, his trauma and his secrets. Afraid that this time, could he Shang Hua come to his aid? Despite the fact that it was his fault that he had such a childhood...

With determination, Shang Hua picked all the Angelic Ark¹ that was in the ground, collected the seeds in a different basket to be able to replant them.

Angel's Ark¹ was once again considered rare in that the plant did not rot like other plants did but instead could be preserved.

The longest shelf life this plant had endured was currently over 50 years.

So Shang Hua carefully arranged the multiple herbs in a medicine compartment before storing them in the room he claimed as his office.

He put away the seeds where he could find them before setting off to explore the fields around his home.

He saw herbs of all kinds even herbs used to create balms, broths as well as soap and oils.

So he rolled up his sleeves and picked all the different plants from his field while separating the herbs and seeds from each of them, in a compartment intended for their storage.

He couldn't help but be happy and proud of himself after happily stacking and delicately separating the different planted herbs.

With baby steps, he was beginning to have a whole new home of his own, a place that was as simple as he was and a real home that was not infested with completely toxic presences.

Shang Hua just looked at the sky then smiled, maybe the transmigration wasn't so bad after all.

。☆✼★━━━━━━ - ━━━━━━★✼☆。

¹- The Angelic Ark is a plant of my own creation, if taken weekly for a month, it helps to correct and heal the golden core as well as the meridians of a person. It also allows for better cultivation.

Chapter Text

╔╦══• •✠•❀ - ❀•✠ • •══╦╗

It had been two months since Shang Hua had settled into his new home.

The system always gave him small missions that will help him earn several B points to unlock the "00C" mode.

He had plowed new fields to be able to plant fruits as well as vegetables there so that he could meet his needs.

While rummaging through the fields of medicinal herbs, he had found several other rare herbs.

Such as Bitter Sweet¹, Starry Seas² or even Snowy Despair³.

And he even had large quantities of each, which he treasured, even though he had started to think about selling them in the market because he knew that on certain days of the week, Qian Cao⁴'s disciples usually liked to go for a walk. in the crowds and see if he could find any interesting herbs etc. that they can buy.

Shang Hua had been out of his house several times, he had even managed to buy some meat and even several live chickens and roosters for the new chicken coop he had happily created.

He had recently started planting fruits as well as vegetables.

What Shang Hua wanted was to be completely independent, he had even started producing his own products such as soap, oils and medicinal ointments.

He also considered marketing them because due to his early life, Shang Hua liked to be self sufficient without needing his "parents" to pay for his stuff but he also wanted to be enough for himself so he grew most of his food and had a natural water reserve next to the house.

Another fun fact he had discovered was that behind his house, nicely and comfortably hidden away was a hot spring just waiting to be used. And he was planning to take a dip in it soon but for now, Shang Hua is still working on making his house his own.

So he put it away, decorated it with his own style, cultivated his own business, worked with joy and passion.

ೋ❀❀ೋ═══ • - • ═══ೋ❀❀ೋ

After that day, a year passed and soon, Shang Hua celebrated his 10th birthday as well as the anniversary of his house.

As he had thought, he had marketed some of his ointments which had quickly become a success in the village of Ku Chun.

And as he had thought, when he started to market some of his rarest plants, Qian Cao's disciples had flocked in like little thirsty ducks.

Luckily, he opened this particular sale once a month because it sold out in just a few minutes and brought him enough to last two or three winters.

He was thrifty and able to take care of himself even though physically he was barely ten years old.

Which reminded him that in a year, the entrance tests for the Cong Qiong Mountain Sect would take place and he could finally start trying to change the timeline of his beloved novel.

Shang Hua had just finished washing and was currently oiling his hair with a lavender-scented oil he had made himself.

While he was doing this, he also read one of the diaries that the former owner of the house who is named Jìng Xīng (镜星) had written and most of them were absolutely revolutionary, with joy, Shang Hua saw that he had successfully created two paintings, one that mimicked the actions of a refrigerator and the other that of a freezer.

Carefully and calmly, he had found two medium-sized wooden boxes on which he engraved the appropriate charts which, thank god, worked easily and effectively, since Shang Hua kept his food cool.

After finishing perfectly oiling his hair, Shang Hua quietly let it hang down his back, easily reaching his lower back.

He got up, left his room and walked calmly to his kitchen. He took out the food he needed and started preparing his dish.

He prepared a Chinese chicken soup, which would help him to keep in shape while being as tasty as he could wish.

He took the time to taste it before taking the leftovers and keeping them in his fridge for later.

After doing the dishes, he returned to his room before taking up the newspaper he was reading when he was oiling his hair and settling in his bed to continue reading it and going through the so-called impossible ideas of the author.

Shang Hua couldn't wait to finally join the Cong Qiong Mountain Sect.

ೋ❀❀ೋ═══ • - • ═══ೋ❀❀ೋ

Once again, a year passed and it was time for Shang Hua to compete in the sect entrance test.

He had washed, had wrapped his long hair in a neat bun wrapped in pretty braids that were extremely strong. He also dressed in one of those rather robust pairs of clothes before putting on his comfortable animal skin boots.

He also picked up two sleeved bracelets which were a little special in that they were Shang Hua's own creations.

He took two pieces of leather he had bought and then the embroidery kit he had on hand, after that he concentrated before embroidering the pictures to use to create the Qiankun⁵ pockets on the front parts of his bracelets while making them look like simple embroidery.

He had created two so that no one stood out from his clothes.

Inside, he placed in each of them, a kit of herbs of all qualities, four ointments for cuts and muscular pains, three soaps, two bottles of oils as well as a wooden box engraved with the painting. from the freezer where he had kept a lot of meat.

He also had tea as well as a tent and a sleeping bag (XianXia version) for him to sleep inside.

One might wonder if Shang Hua was going to war, somehow, yes, as long as there was no one leading the Peak during the coup, the Peak was a mess with most of the followers and those send back their soon, sleeping under the stars.

Shang Hua, dressed and combed, a look of determination plastered on his face, the backpack he only wears for appearances that is stuffed with some of his stuff on his back and a busy mind.

Chapter Text

╔═.✵.═══ - ═══════╗

Shang Hua had gone to stand with the many other children who had come for the test.

They had put their bags where Qiong Ding's disciples had told them to put them.

They were worried because they did not know what the test was.

Shang Hua, on the other hand, must have been the only one who knew that the test consisted of digging a hole in the ground with his hands covered or at least infusing it with spiritual energy.

A disciple of Qiong Ding came to welcome them before guiding them to the field where from afar, one could see the current Peaks Lord who was waiting to judge the new potential disciples.

They were each led to their places before the voice of Sect Leader Ping LiWu rang out and explained what the test consisted of.

From where he was, Shang Hua easily saw half of them freaking out in hilariously funny ways.

Shang Hua placed his hands at the front of his chest, wrapped and gently infused his hands with spiritual energy, and when the signal sounded, he began to logically dig his hole deeper than the others while being done in a logical way.

From where he was standing, he could already see that the Peak Lord of An Ding, Su LiQiu seemed to have noticed him but he pretended not to and continued to dig.

After all, if he knew that Shang Hua had noticed him, he could change his mind and unfortunately, Shang Hua and the system didn't want that.

He continued to dig for a few more minutes before a disciple of An Ding came in front of him, stopped him and told him that he had been accepted into An Ding and should follow him, which Shang Hua did.

Shang Hua stood up, shook and quickly cleaned his hands before going to collect his things and following the disciple who introduced himself as Méi Yǒunǐ (没有你), a senior disciple.

They climbed the long stairs that led them to the Peak Qiong Ding before leaving through another door where he could see from afar, the famous Rainbow Bridge¹ which connected the sect between them.

They headed towards it before crossing it twice.

They had also passed by the Bai Zhan Peak² as well as the Xian Shu Peak³ while continuing to walk.

An Ding Peak⁴ was located between Bǎi Zhuō Peak⁵ and Chùang Shì Peak⁶.

Even though they were among those who contributed the most to the sect, they tend to be covered by the most impressive Peaks.

This was also one of the reasons why in his drafts, the two Peaks Lords of his generation had finally joined the original Shang QingHua in the art of spying on the sect.

Mò QīngFēi (Peak Lord Chùang Shì⁶) as well as Lù Qīngluò (Peak Lord Bǎi Zhuō⁵) seemed like worthy people to rally to his cause.

Méi Shixiong introduced him to the Peak before explaining to him that An Ding⁴, this generation was different from the others by the fact that their supposedly Shizun was a horrible man who liked to see his Peak destroy itself.

He explained to him a fact that Shang Hua already knew, if he wanted to become chief disciple, he had to organize a coup d'etat, everything was allowed as long as their "Shizun" was defeated.

He also added that many people tried but no one even managed to touch him.

He added that if this Shidi tried to do it, he would support him just like he quietly supported the others.

Shang Hua was installed in the dormitory for new arrivals and knew even before entering that the dormitory was full and that there would surely be no room for him.

So he walked towards the patch of forest behind the dormitory before removing the tent that he had stored in his Qiankun cuffs.

After installing it, he surrounded his small camp with tables which created a barrier only attached to him by blood (where any other person he adds to the table to allow them passage), history that no one sees his camp or worse, try to steal it.

After that, he went to get wood, branches and made a small fire in front of his tent before warming up the lunch he had carefully packed in the morning and eating it calmly while thinking about his next actions, for now, he was just going to meditate and see the next steps he was going to take.

❁ ════ ❃• - •❃ ════ ❁

He washed his things then put on the An Ding uniform that Méi Shixiong had given him before heading to a pretty spring linked to a waterfall he had spotted on the way, where there was a large rock where he could settle down. .

He arrived there, once again admired the waterfall before jumping on the rock and sitting in the Lotus position, while folding his hands in front of him and gently closing his eyes.

Barely an hour later and Shang Hua heard footsteps and the sound of falling leaveswere being moved.

"- Well, well... Looks like Yǒunǐ Didi didn't lie to me then... A new disciple specially chosen by... Shizun.." Commented a pretty voice, soft and feminine but with an authoritative tone, ending the sentence with what sounded like disgust, it was no wonder since she had mentioned Su LiQiu, that trash that didn't deserve to be mentione

"- Fēi Shijie, stop making fun of Yǒunǐ Shixiong, he's really trying..." another voice answered, softer than the other woman/gir

"- Ah.. Meimei, didn't this venerable teach you, here in An Ding⁴, it is only the law of the strongest that reigns~" The girl's voice explained, mockingly

Shang Hua ends up coughing in order to remind them of his presence, while looking at the

Facing him were two teenage girls, one smaller than the other

The smaller one had a lovely sun-kissed complexion, long black hair that reached her knees, and lovely almond-shaped purplish-blue eyes that possessed long eyelashes and a noble fac

Despite the fact that her figure showed the body of a true warrior, she was dressed in the female attire of the Peak An Ding⁴

The tallest and did he seem the youngest, meanwhile, had a pale complexion, pretty black hair reaching the end of her back, round light grayish eyes with long lashes staring at him neutrally, she too was dressed of An Ding⁴'s unifor

"Hello, you must be older disciples...Da'Shijie, Er'Shijie..." Shang Hua replied annoyed, he didn't know who they were but he tried to meditate and would like to do so in peace.

"Wow, calm down newbie, Meimei and I came to greet you, aren't we good Shijie~?" Retorted the oldes

"- Wow, I'm glad..." Shang Hua commented annoye

"- What's your name, Shidi?" Asked the taller on

"- My name is Shang Hua.." he introduced himself, annoye

“Oh! My name is Liǔ Xìan Fēi (柳显飞)! And Meimei is called Huā Yǔ (花雨)!” Retorted the older on

Shang Hua froze, facing him was one of the characters that was part of his draft

Liǔ Xìan Fēi (柳显飞) was the older cousin of Liǔ Qīnggē and Liǔ MingYan, she had originally been part of Xian Shu³ but due to a scandal imposed on her, she was expelled from her Peak and sent to An Ding⁴ instead. When she left, she took her Meimei, Huā Yǔ with her

Shang Hua had written her as the extremely badass as well as extremely pansexual character who single-handedly deserved a fucking harem of both gender

He had considered it with Shen QingQiu, as his greatest achievement

"- This Shang Hua asks Da'Shijie to forgive this unruly Shidi, this Shidi was only trying to meditate." added Shang Hua, standing up and bowing to he

"- This Da'Shijie forgives this Shidi, she can see that you tried to meditate so this Shijie also apologizes.." she said returning the bo

Shang Hua got up before jumping on the different rocks to finally land in front of her two martial elder sisters who smiled at he

"Would it bother those two Shijies if that Shidi followed them?" Shang Hua aske

"- It would be an honor.. " The two answered, at the same tim

Shang Hua knew he had just won his first and perhaps his best allie

Chapter 7: 六

Chapter Text

╔═══❖•ೋ° - °ೋ•❖═══╗

It had been a week since Shang Hua joined the Cong Qiong Sect. He had become better acquainted with his two Shijies as well as with his Shixiong.

He had learned that his Shixiong had once been part of Wan Jian¹ and lamented since the day of his expulsion that it had been such a long time since he had entered a forge.

Shang Hua had asked him what Mei Shixiong specialized in and his Shixiong had replied that he was good at making swords but tended to specialize in creating spiritual weapons.

He had also introduced her to his friends who had also been expelled from their old Peaks.

It was really funny that his Mei Shixiong didn't know he was introducing new allies to him.

First there were the Zhang twins,

Zhang Min (张敏) and Zhang Wei (张伟), one was from Qiong Ding², while the other was from Qian Cao³.

https://www.instagram.com/p/Ca4ilkILVBd/

(The one who smiles is Zhang Min, The one who looks calm is Zhang Wei)

Then there was Li Na (李娜) who came from Zui Xian⁴, as well as Wang Yan (王艳) who came from Chùang Shì⁵.

https://www.instagram.com/p/Ccs0mcrIfYN/

Above all, we should not forget Mao Xiulan (毛秀兰) who came from Bǎi Zhuō⁶, and Xiao Yan (萧炎) who came from Ku Xing⁷.

https://www.instagram.com/p/Ca4ilkILVBd/

https://www.instagram.com/p/CbFnwxoMWVf/

With his two other Shijies who came from Xian Shu, he had almost a circle of people who came from each Peak. Only Bai Zhan was missing from the mix.

And again, according to Min Shixiong, there was a small group of two former Bai Zhan disciples who were in the same dorms as all of them and he didn't mind including them in their small groups given the fact that Shang Hua had need an experienced person who could teach him how to form his golden core while trying to progress to the new soul process, which Shang Hua should reach around the age of twenty-two to twenty-five, more if he was not very good at cultivation.

He also knew that soon, he was going to have to present to them the various plans he concocted for the coup he was going to launch on An Ding when Shang Hua was twenty years old or younger who knows.

✩。:•.───── ❁ - ❁ ─────.•:。✩

Today was the day that Shang Hua was going to meet the group of Bai Zhan disciples whom Min Shixiong had promised to introduce to him.

He had risen, washed and dressed ready to face the day.

He then walked towards the clearing that their small group had declared as theirs and greeted his Shixiongs as well as his Shijies.

Li Shijie, Mao Shijie as well as Liǔ Shijie accompanied by Huā Shijie were already present.

Wei Shixiong accompanied by Wang Shixiong, Mei Shixiong and Xiao Shixiong were also there.

Wei Shixiong looked at me before explaining that his twin had gone to pick up the two Bai Zhan students who lived in the same dorm as them.

A few moments later and they heard footsteps and quickly, they saw Min Shixiong accompanied by two other people with impressive physical looks.

"- Ah! A'Hua, here they are! May I introduce you to Yú Shǎndiàn (于闪电) and Xuě Fēngbào (雪风暴)!" Introduced Zhang Min, loudly.

https://www.instagram.com/p/Cas7gNQImvk/

(Shǎndiàn is the one with brown hair while Fēngbào is the one with black hair)

The two named greet the remains of them with a simple bow.

"Who's the one who needs training?" asked Fēngbào.

"- Uh... That'll be me, I'm new and fresh from the discipleship selection, barely a week ago...!" Shang Hua said, raising his hand nervously.

"- You don't need to be nervous, Fēngbào and I are not mean!" Shǎndiàn joked.

"- Besides, you're the right age to start cultivating in a serious way" he added more seriously.

"So can we start?" Shang Hua asked.

"- Yeah !" replied Fēngbào.

"- Besides, the other people in Bai Zhan aren't as stupid as you think, even if some of them are, let's say, questionable."

And from there, Shang Hua began to be trained by Xuě Fēngbào and Mò Shǎndiàn.

✩。:•.───── ❁ - ❁ ─────.•:。✩

It had been three months since Shang Hua had started training and sincerely, the formation of the new soul would certainly be done much faster with the help of these two trainers.

Fēngbào Shixiong as well as Shǎndiàn Shixiong were slave drivers in terms of training.

The only funny thing was that Shang Hua wasn't the only one to train because after seeing their new friends' fighting forms/their formations, Shǎndiàn and Fēngbào absolutely had no hesitation in having them train with Shang Hua.

Shang Hua's new schedule started like this, he got up, had lunch, meditated before going to bathe then get dressed before going to train with his elders, have dinner, while continuing their training.

Shang Hua, meanwhile, continues to prepare his many invasion plans on An Ding, until the day he can finally show it to his martial brothers.

He never imagined that he would one day consider the people in his own novel as family, but it's not as if Shang Hua had one to begin with.

A'Hua did not like to remember his "old" family, they had separated when he was fifteen in bad separation and had each rebuilt their lives without counting him inside.

He liked to make sure it didn't affect him but that would be a lie, in his first life he had many times fallen asleep crying and wondering if anyone would love him just for who he was. , a gay guy who likes to write novels, who has worked hard since the age of fifteen and who is extremely hungry for attention as well as touch.

But it'll be fine, because Shang Hua knows he's going to get better, it's almost sure with his new family.

Chapter 8: 七

Chapter Text

╔═.✵.═══ - ═══════╗

It had already been four years since Shang Hua entered the Cong Qiong Mountain Sect, and many things had changed since then.

Shang Hua had let his hair grow out even though he kept it in a bun most of the time, it reached down to his lower back. He was also a bit more muscular, with training making him stronger as well as slightly more confident.

He had also explained to his Shixiongs and Shijies that he wanted to be the one to succeed in blowing up the Peak in a Rebellion , and they happily promised that they would help him succeed in the attack and become the chief disciple of An Ding.

He worked hard, learned to cultivate in the correct ways while learning much more about his martial brothers and sisters.

He told himself that maybe he will manage to have a happier ending than in his first life.

For three years and a few months, he had joined the tasks assigned to the Juniors, and he had flourished in a beautiful brilliance.

He was considered the best Junior in the Peak and today he was given a delivery that was due to a town near Huan Hua Palace¹.

Normally, he would have been assigned to do the mission with other people, but suspecting the outcome, the fifteen-year-old practitioner wanted to do the mission alone.

He suspected that the meeting between him and Mobei Jun would surely take place so he prepared accordingly.

One of his "visible" QianKun bags was just filled with a change of clothes while his two QianKun cuffs had been filled with food as well as various medications/ointments he knew he would need as well as enough money to reserve. a hostel room for a week.

He packs his belongings, changes into his uniform before going to retrieve his cart with the deliveries inside, with the horse appearing ready to go in front.

Shang Hua had already spoken to his various martial brothers and sisters, telling them that he was going on a mission for a week or more. They all nodded at it without question, knowing that Shang Hua couldn't share the content.

With his mission still on his mind, Shang Hua left with his head filled with uncertainty about the rest of his future.

ೋ❀❀ೋ═══ • - • ═══ೋ❀❀ೋ

Shang Hua had already been traveling for two days and he knew that he should normally arrive in the village at the edge of Huan Hua Palace soon, according to his memories, the meeting between the OG! Shang QingHua and Mobei Jun took place after the mission was completed, OG! Shang QingHua was accompanied by his martial brothers and sisters who didn't like him very much so he had no remorse when he sacrificed them, after all, OG!Shang QingHua had been brought up in a cruel lifestyle after everything.

The mission, in itself had not been complicated but it was rather the apprehension of what was going to happen which made him nervous.

Two days later, the mission was accomplished and Shang Hua was able to return home with a lump in his stomach.

When on the way back, a few meters from one of the many villages on the edge of the outskirts of the Cong Qiong Mountain Sect, a huge crash sounded on the side of the road, forcing Shang Hua to dock sideways.

After that, he stood up, jumped from his seat before carefully unsheathing the training sword he was carrying, from its sheath, he did not know if there would be Huan Huas practitioners trailing behind the demon prince.

Luckily for him, it looked like the demon prince had managed to shake them off.

Said demon prince was lying in a crater, so he carefully walked over to it before calmly pulling out two thin acupuncture needles² from his sleeve and throwing them at Mobei Jun's neck, knocking him cold.

After that, he lifted Mobei Jun as best he could before gently putting him in his cart, he then settled in front of the reins of the cart and made him move forward towards the middle of the deep forest, so that he could get away. take care of the young prince.

Once there, he set up his faithful tent then transferred Mobei Jun to the second berth he had specially brought for him.

He then took his medical supplies to begin searching for the wound he knew Mobei Jun would have and as expected, there was a thin wound the length of a finger on the lower part of Mobei Jun's waist, roughly. on his right kidney.

A sharp corner of something golden protruded from inside the wound.

He could vaguely see that it was forged from threads of gold, an intricate piece of craftsmanship shaped like the edge of a flower petal.

As he thought, it was the Ling Hua³ dart from the Huan Hua Palace.

Gently, he took two large, fine-tipped pliers that were intended for use in surgery and gently began to remove the splinter points from the dart and once it was successfully pulled out, Shang Hua was able to use an ointment intended to help the skin close up quickly while transferring some spiritual energy into the open wound.

Now finished, he could quietly think about the wound and let the young demon rest as he came out of the tent.

He checked to see if the ground around the tent was still enveloped by the various incantations that protect the aunt's perimeter, after seeing that they were still as strong as when he put it on.

He made a small fire, hunted two rabbits and prepared them. He also prepared a soup filled with medicine to help Mobei Jun get better.

And as expected, he heard a person who was struggling, because you see, to prevent Mobei Jun from destroying his tent, Shang Hua had to bind him with the immortal grip ropes.

He stepped inside the tent to see a young prince staring at him with angry jelly blue eyes.

"Ayah! Don't look at me like that my prince, I had to tie you up so you wouldn't destroy my humble tent. Shang Hua explained.

"- Who are you..?" rumbled the ice demon's deep voice.

“- I am just a humble cultivator who has nothing against the demons who found, injured and drugged you by the Ling Hua dart of the Huan Hua Palace.” Calmly replied, Shang Hua.

The northern prince looked at him without speaking, it seemed that he thought Shang Hua was going to hurt or kill him but didn't expect his words.

“- If my prince is not disturbed, this one will now untie you so that you can come with this one to go and taste the meal that this humble one has cooked with care, but before that, my prince promise not to break anything.” echoed the cultivator.

“- This..This prince promises not to break anything, in exchange, this cultivator will explain who this humble guy is.” Accepted Mobei Jun.

"- Bargain."

Shang Hua cautiously advanced towards the demon before carefully starting to remove the ropes that bound the prince, once removed, he helped Mobei Jun up and motioned for him to follow him.

He then helped the demon to sit far enough from the fire before serving him his rabbit as well as the medicinal soup, he explained to the prince that the soup would help heal him more quickly even if he was a demon.

Once they finished dinner, Shang Hua sat down facing the prince and asked him to push the questions that were running through his head.

"- Who are you ?" Was the prince's first question.

“- This one is called Shang Hua, a humble outer disciple of An Ding Peak of the Cang Qiong Mountain Sect.” Shang Hua briefly introduced himself.

“- An Ding?” sneered the demon.

“- Please my prince, I do not accept discrimination by Peak.” Shang Hua replied, sulking.

"Why did you save this prince?" asked Mobei Jun, again.

"- Like this one said before, I have nothing against demons, plus I don't like Huan Hua¹ Palace Sect, so that's a plus, really."

“- Your goals? ” he continued.

“- It's hardly known but An Ding is ruled by a horrible man, does it point out that if you want to become the chief disciple, you have to prepare a real coup to do it. This one, with the help of his friends and allies intends to declare a coup d'etat then will become the chief disciple to end up becoming Peak Lord. ” Shang Hua explains.

"- It's a rather noble goal that you have..." the prince answered.

“- If you ever need this one, please don't hesitate to contact me.”

“-.. This prince won't forget the help Shang Hua gave to this one..” The demon nodded, a determined look on his pretty face framed by his long white hair.

Lo and behold, another ally to find, Shang Hua is quite content to have had his first encounter with one of his favorite characters.

Chapter 9: 八

Chapter Text

┏━━━━•❅•°•❈ - •°•❅•━━━━┓

Shang Hua had just returned from his long journey.

His meeting with Mobei Jun had gone as he had planned. He knew he would find the Demon Prince injured and knew he could take advantage of his injury to become his ally without having to submit in a shameful and unpleasant way.

He therefore headed quietly towards his dormitory which he shared with juniors who were older than him.

He took a bath to relax and changed into his uniform.

He then headed for the clearing that he and his group of friends considered their home ground. From a distance, he could see Xìan'Jie as well as Mei'Xiong who was at his side, both took in a discussion which seemed quite deep, always getting closer, he could also see Xiulan'Jie, at Hua'Jie's side talking while making flower crowns.

He could see Wei'Xiong who was making medicinal ointments, while talking with his brother, Min'Xiong.

He also saw Shǎndiàn'Xiong and Fēngbào'Xiong who were talking about a competition, they were probably talking about the immortal conference which will happen in a few months.

If Shang Hua's memories were correct, it was during this competition that Shen Jiu would be found and brought back to Cong Qiong Mountain, becoming a member of Qing Jing Peak¹, the Peak Scholar.

Shang Hua reminded himself that he would probably soon have to retrieve the Angelic Ark ² which was in his office, hidden inside his house at the edge of the village which was overlooked by the view of the Tian Gong mountains, which contained the sect. Cong Qiong Mountain on them.

But for now, Shang Hua had to keep improving the plans he was carefully preparing, if all went well, soon he and his friends would be able to initiate the coup soon, he couldn't wait.

When they are done with An Ding, the Peak will radiate a new light, the light of its rebirth.

ೋ❀❀ೋ═══ • - • ═══ೋ❀❀ೋ

"- My dear disciples, today we are all gathered to choose those who will represent the An Ding Peak at this year's immortal conference." Su LiQiu³ announced, sitting on an armchair, which only seemed to radiate wealth.

While the An Ding Peak Lord was speaking, the older members of Shang Hua's group of friends were reunited.

Mei Yǒunǐ, Lìu Xìan Fēi, Hua Yu, Xiao Yan, Zhang Min, Zhang Wei, Mao Xiulan, Li Na as well as Yu Shǎndiàn with Xuě Fēngbào by his side, were all questioning the continued bad decisions of An Ding Peak Sir.

The only people missing from their group were Wang Yan and Shang Hua, who were both too young to attend the conference. Wang Yan was sixteen years old while Shang Hua was fifteen.

"Do you think we're going to participate?" Xìan Fēi wondered, tugging at her ebony hair, which shone in the sunlight.

"- Honestly, with that old fool, I don't know..." Yǒunǐ replied, bored while playing with his inky black hair.

"- But even if we participate, we have to stay at the bottom of the chain, after all, we need everyone to underestimate An Ding..." Shǎndiàn said, his hand resting on his chin, his beautiful hazel hair falling down on her pretty dark green eyes.

"- A'Hua said that normally, in a year or so, everything will be ready for the coup d'etat so more than waiting." Fēngbào added, her greyish-black hair being shaken slightly from her bun.

"Aahh! I can't wait!" Zhang Min said, while shaking her pretty pale purple hair, which rose with the rhythm of the spring wind.

"- Good !" Let out Liǔ Xìan Fēi.

"- Looks like our dear Shizun will be announcing the participants soon."

They rush forward before Su LiQiu rises from her seat to announce the attendees.

"- We will have as participants this year, Shi Mei⁴ (石梅)!"

A person emerged from the crowd, while heading towards the stage where the participants were to stand.

"- We will also have Lu Ping (路平)!"

Another person emerged from the crowd, following the same path as the first.

"- I also choose Xuě Fēngbào (薛風寶)!"

Fēngbào was surprised but did not show it on his face, while hurriedly greeting these friends, he walked to the dais where the other two participants were standing.

“- Please join your partners, Yi Fan (易然)”

A rather stocky person quickly left the crowd to stand beside Fēngbào.

"- And finally, we end with Liǔ Xìan Fēi (柳显飞)!"

Xìan Fēi swore under his breath before going to position himself with Fēngbào, while staring at his three other companions.

All five were lined up facing the Peak crowd who were watching them longingly.

Su LiQiu turned to them before giving them a light smile that did not fail to give the participants hearts.

"- Follow me .. !" He added kindly.

Fēngbào and Xìan Fēi looked into each other's eyes before heading towards their martial brothers and sisters.

The An Ding Peak Lord guided him to the house he was using as an office, he led them inside.

He sat down on a chair, inviting them to do the same, which they did reluctantly.

"- Your goals in the conference are of course, to represent the cult well although I already know that most of you probably won't make it into the Top 5, it's always good to try, don't right?" He finished, with the same disturbing smile on his face, his beard making her even more unpleasant to look at.

After Su LiQiu finished explaining to them what they needed to know, Fēngbào and Xìan Fēi ran to the meadow that was there so they could meet their friends there, to explain to them what they had just been told.

"Quick, hurry up!" Xìan Fēi hissed, at his partner.

"- I'm coming !" He retorted, while descending the slope which leads them towards the Yín Cǎo Diàn⁵ (銀草甸).

In the distance, they could see their brothers and sisters waiting for them impatiently.

"- So? Tell us!" Shang Hua asked impatiently.

They sat down and told absolutely everything to their brothers, here, only among themselves, they had the right to be a family.

Author's Note: I'm glad you're still paying attention to this story. I really hope you continue to like it!

EDIT:

Hey...

So as I write this, it's before posting the chapter...

And I have some pretty bad news let's say..

In two months things have happened and my sanity has not become

the most stable.

I was recently diagnosed with the onset of depression and with the blank page syndrome that took hold of me, I was only able to write one chapter in two months.

So I made a decision that hurts me but I have no choice if I want to finish this fanfiction.

I have decided that from now on (or at least until I get better) I will only post one chapter per month.

With this decision, I have chapters that will last until June of next year.

Sorry again and thank you for understanding.

The next chapter will be available on November 13.

Chapter 10: 九

Chapter Text

╔═.✵.═══ - ═══════╗

It had been a week since Su LiQiu announced the attendees of this year's Immortal Conference.

Although they weren't planning to show up, Xìan Fēi and Fēngbào had begun training intensively, their goals being to be strong enough to survive the tournament.

Shang Hua, meanwhile, continued to prepare his many plans for the infamous coup.

He pondered the many details, which he had specifically left for last, in order to perfect his plan.

"- A'Hua, can you pass me the ink?" Said Yǒunǐ, who was hunched over his own worksheets.

"- Here !" Shang Hua replied, while handing him the requested ink.

Mei'Xiong, meanwhile, was busy making plans for his future forge, when Shang Hua told him that he planned to have one on An Ding.

Just as he asked Min'Xiong to make the plans for the future hospital wing, which he happily did.

Shǎndiàn'Xiong, meanwhile, had managed to sneak into the kitchens and cooked a real feast for them all. Their little hiding place, their beloved Yín Cǎo Diàn, which was originally a simple clearing had changed a lot since he had seen her for the first time.

While training, they had found a large cave which was unoccupied, so they had decided to make it their little hiding place, they had installed tables, chairs, office equipment and oil lamps there.

Everyone had their little corner, for example, Min'Xiong had a little corner where he made ointments as well as oils that he liked to sell in the village at the bottom of the mountain.

According to him, he liked doing it and in addition, it allowed him to save for other projects. Shang Hua had given him some of his herbal medicines as a present for his birthday.

He obviously enjoyed them, Shang Hua knew that his plant stash was known to be among the rarest and he liked to take advantage of that fact.

◈ ━━━━━━━ ⸙ - ⸙ ━━━━━━━ ◈

Soon two months passed and the hour of the conference arrived.

Shang Hua had provided his two friends with different talismans as well as food and several herbal and ointments.

Fēngbào and Xìan Fēi were therefore gone, the spirits appeased by the encouragement of their friends.

All Shang Hua could do now was hope they came back alive.

In the meantime, Shang Hua and the other band members could only wait.

◈ ━━━━━━━ ⸙ - ⸙ ━━━━━━━ ◈

Shen Jiu was confused, Wu Yanzi, his teacher, told him that they were going to infiltrate the immortal conference that would take place this year.

He was a bit hesitant after the rogue cultivator told him that they would go looking for corpses.

He was 16, soon to be 17 with his hope of having a balanced culture close to zero and it had already been two years since he had stopped hoping that his Qi'ge would come to save him.

According to Shifu¹, the convention will start in two or three days and they have to be close to the start stage to be able to enter it effectively.

Shen Jiu let out a tired sigh before starting to prepare his things so they could be at hand.

◈ ━━━━━━━ ⸙ - ⸙ ━━━━━━━ ◈

“- My dear guests! Today we gather for the 100th anniversary of our beloved immortal conference! As always, we are in the presence of the four largest cultivation sects such as the Zhao Hua² Temple!” The presenter roared, making the audience scream.

The disciples of Zhao Hua² Temple entered to loud applause from the audience.

“- Tian Yi Overlook Sect³!”

The disciples of the Tian Yi Overlook³ sect went to settle next to the Zhao Hua² Temple, always under the applause of the public.

“- Full of strength and courage, Huan Hua Palace Sect⁴!”

The disciples of Huan Hua Palace appear, clad in gold and puffed up in an arrogant manner, openly strut like peacocks to the applause of the audience.

“- AND FINALLY, THE ONE WE WERE ALL WAITING FOR! PLEASE WELCOME THE CONG QIONG MOUNTAIN SECT!” announced the presenter, causing the audience to scream with excitement.

The mixed disciples of the Cong Qiong Mountain Sect appeared with a bang, being reunited under the leadership of a peaceful-looking Yue QingYuan, who had his hand resting on the hilt of his sword, Xuan Su⁵.

At his side, a Liǔ Qīnggē, with a pout painted on his handsome face, and who looked eager to go and face the multiple demonic beasts that were inside the Jue Di Gorge stadium⁶, his hand firmly placed on the sheath of Cheng Luan⁷.

Fēngbào as well as Xìan Fēi were both at the end of the row composed solely of Cong Qiong disciples.

From there, Xìan Fēi could see her cousin, whom she hadn't seen since she was expelled from Xian Shu.

This made her melancholy, she couldn't help remembering the pleasant moments when she played with her two cousins, Liǔ MingYi⁸ and Liǔ MingYan⁹.

Everyone in the audience was talking excitedly about the new generation of Peak Lord who had already started to prepare, even though everyone knew that they would ascend as Peak Lord, only when the old generation Li ascended.

The New Qing Generation [清] currently had four appointees out of twelve.

Yue QingYuan, Liu Qingge, Qi QingQi and Mu QingFang.

Respectively, Qiong Ding, Bai Zhan, Xuan Shu and Qian Cao.

The other Peak Lords of the Li generation had not made their choice yet, but they had time, they had to name their successors a few years before they ascended after all, and most of them were still undecided. on their choice.

After all, future Peak Lords would only ascend after becoming Immortal.

Xìan Fēi knew or rather had a presentiment that the next Peak Lord of An Ding would undoubtedly be Shang Hua'didi.

He was strong, extremely intelligent, seemed to know things he wasn't supposed to know, and was the sweetest person Xìan Fēi knew.

She had no doubt that An Ding would find a new future with him, in fact, she was sure of it.

Let the world get ready because Shang Hua at the head of An Ding is coming for your ass.

⁸- Liǔ Qīnggē does not have a birth name in the canon, so I give him one, Liǔ MingYi.

⁹- Liǔ MingYan is Liǔ Qīnggē's little sister and Liǔ Xìan Fēi's younger cousin.

Author's note: This chapter is the first without Shang Hua even though he is mentioned, we are still moving towards the goal of this fanfic.

I was able to experiment with the POV on the third on Shen Jiu and I think I did it a little OOC..? But that's okay because the story is a discrepancy canon so we already knew the story would be different.

The next update is for the 11 December ;)

Edit: To update what I said in the previous chapter, I'm actually feeling a lot better even though I haven't really caught up on writing the fic haha.

I decided that when I finish the fic I'll do a rewrite because I'm not an English native and my English is an horrible shit haha.

I don't have a beta but if anyone in the comments wants to be, contact me on my Instagram: @byakko_sushi ;)

Chapter 11: 十

Chapter Text

┏━━━━•❅•°•❈ - •°•❅•━━━━┓

"Come on! Get up Boy! We have to go to work!" Growled the cold, gruff voice of an old man, shaking a young man, who looked barely 16 years old.

Shen Jiu opened his eyes at the sharp words that had just come out of his Shifu's mouth.

He had wanted to reply but he knew in advance that it wouldn't be a good idea so he got up from his makeshift bed and greeted his Shifu as best he could.

"- It was not complicated, eh Boy!" Wu Yanzi spat, a malevolent smile on his obnoxious face.

"- No Shifu..." replied Shen Jiu, while holding his breath, for fear of inhaling the nauseating breath of his Shifu.

Honestly, if Shen Jiu could have found a better teacher, he would have left the rogue cultivator behind him. Unfortunately he didn't have the courage to join one of the big sects, especially because he knew he was behind in cultivation and as he was subject to quite violent Qi deviations, he could guess that his meridians were quite damaged.

If only his Qi'ge hadn't abandoned him...

He could then have had a semblance of a future.

⊰᯽⊱┈──╌❊ - ❊╌──┈⊰᯽⊱

“- THE COMPETITION WILL BEGIN, DISCIPLES, GET INTO POSITION!” Started the presenter.

Xìan Fēi glanced at his friend and seeing that Fēngbào looked back at him, they didn't need to talk to each other to understand, just one look and they understood.

All the different disciples of the four major sects each position themselves facing the different entrances before the departure bell rang, opening the entrances which allowed them to enter.

Xìan Fēi didn't look back and rushed straight ahead, knowing full well that Fēngbào was behind her.

Their goal was to not be noticed too much as well as to avoid fighting. As decided well before the competition, they did not want to stand out but only wanted to survive, intact and without too many injuries.

She couldn't help but pray that her cousin, her little MingYi¹ would make it out alive even though she knew she didn't need to worry too much.

After all, most people had already started hailing him as the future God of War of Cong Qiong, who would soon replace his Shizun, Wu LiXiu², who was the current God of War of the sect.

"Let's go there!" Fēngbào whispered to her teammate, pointing to the edge, which didn't stray far from the edge of the arena.

“- Good idea, there are big enough trees where we can hide!” Xìan Fēi nodded, as she unsheathed her sword, Shuǐjīng [水晶]³ before mounting the blade, holding it in the air before directing it to its destination.

Fēngbào also drew his sword, Lìliàng [力量]⁴, before following it towards the tallest trees in the area to take refuge there.

They alight in the branch which was the highest so that no demonic beast hides them but they also use a liquid that their Didi, Shang Hua had given them.

According to him, the liquid dispels their scent so that the demons cannot smell them.

"Do you have all your supplies?" Asked Xìan Fēi.

"- Yes and you ?" Fēngbào retorted, a question to which Xìan Fēi answered silently, choosing to simply nod.

They put away their swords, and settled down as quietly as possible.

Now they just had to wait for the end.

⊰᯽⊱┈──╌❊ - ❊╌──┈⊰᯽⊱

"Come on kid! Hurry up where I'm leaving you!” Spits Wu Yanzi in the direction of Shen Jiu, who was standing behind him.

"- Yes Shifu..." Shen Jiu answered, the subtle disgust dripping from his words.

Not for the first time today, Shen Jiu seriously considered leaving the old goat behind. He kept criticizing him and today his remarks seemed to be much worse than usual.

He gripped the sheath of his sword (which he had received from his malevolent Shifu, which meant that it had probably been robbed)

"- Looked !" Wu Yanzi said, pointing at what appeared to be a disciple of Cong Qiong who oddly didn't use his sword to kill demons, instead he used his hands to do so.

"- He looks a bit out of line, Shifu..." Shen Jiu growled, wondering if it was too late to leave the old pig behind.

Unfortunately yes, it was too late for the abandoned when he threw himself on the disciple who was standing in front of them, his back turned.

Shen Jiu did not move from his place, as his Shifu had asked him.

The disciple, hearing the noises, turned around just in time to hold Wu Yanzi's smooth sword with both hands, letting Shen Jiu glimpse a face that looked familiar to him.

And then he turned around completely, and Shen Jiu's heart skipped a beat.

Right in front of him was his Qi'ge, muscular, healthy, dressed in nice clothes and looking so powerful compared to him.

Before he even thought about it, Shen Jiu rushed towards Wu Yanzi, drawing his sword before quickly slitting his throat, then sheathed his sword just as quickly as he had drawn it.

Yue Qi stared at him with wide eyes, most likely recognizing him.

"- Xiao'Jiu..." he blurted out, surprised and shocked.

“- Yue Qi..” Shen Jiu returned, coldly, his face icy with no comprehensible expression, even though his heart was burning with grief at the sight of this traitor.

“- I finally found you Xiao'Jiu!” Yue Qi said, looking so happy to see him, oblivious to Shen Jiu's thoughts about him.

"Why didn't you come back for me?" Shen Jiu replied, dryly.

“- I..Xiao'Jiu! Yue Qi said, not answering Shen Jiu's question, annoying him even more.

"- ANSWER ME ! FOR WHAT !" Shen Jiu spits out, losing his composure to Yue Qi's silence.

“- I can't... Xiao'Jiu is too fragile to know..!” Yue Qi replied, thinking he was doing the right thing and completely unaware of the hatred he caused Shen Jiu.

Shen Jiu couldn't believe his ears, Yue Qi, that filth, considered him fragile and preferred not to tell him the truth, the reason that made him suffer for more than seven years.

Unbeknownst to the other two, there were two people watching their argument, looking shocked but not surprised by Yue QingYuan's behavior.

“- I always thought Yue QingYuan was suspicious..” Xìan Fēi whispered to Fēngbào, the 18-year-old nodding at his words.

“- I mean, a boy who joins the Sect late but stands out enough to become the future Sect leader? I thought he was suspicious, A'Hua was completely right, his behavior doesn't seem normal...” Fēngbào added.

“- Shit, I owe A'Hua 2 Yuan⁵!” Xìan Fēi swears, which made Fēngbào laugh.

“- I told you that you shouldn't bet with A'Hua, in a way, he's always right!” Growled Fēngbào, laughing at Xìan Fēi's pout.

The two disciples of An Ding quickly refocus on the other two people present, seeing Yue QingYuan telling the young man in front of him, that he could make him enter the sect.

The other boy seemed to want to rip Yue QingYuan's throat with his bare hands, which the two students didn't blame him for, they themselves had a strong desire to do it.

As the boy was about to speak, they heard a large explosion, which seemed to come from the middle of the arena.

“- What's going on.. ” They thought.

¹- This is the birth name that I gave to Liǔ Qīnggē, it is a reminder.

²- We don't have the names of the ancient Peak Lords before the Qing generation, so I grant them names.

³-Shuǐjīng [水晶] means Crystal, she was named like that because her blade looks as clear as crystal.

⁴- Lìliàng [力量] means Strength, I think the name matched quite well with Xuě Fēngbào's personality.

⁵- Yuan is the Chinese payment unit even if I have no idea of the exchange value, I decided to use the value of the Euro because I live in Europe ;)

Chapter 12: 十一

Chapter Text

┌──❀̥˚──◌─ - ────❀̥˚─┐

Everyone had turned the explosion that shook the arena, Shen Jiu with Yue Qi by his side were surprised and quite anxious.

Above their heads, Xìan Fēi as well as Fēngbào were no better than them. The demons present for the competition were supposed to be small fry, not demons of higher types which meant that much more powerful demons had infiltrated the competition.

Xìan Fēi began to rummage through his sleeve to find the emergency rocket that Su LiQiu had given them before the start of the competition.

Fēngbào had also started doing the same.

On land, Shen Jiu was anguished, he hadn't expected to encounter higher-type demons like the ones that had apparently infiltrated the arena.

"Don't worry Xiao'Jiu, Qi'ge will protect you!" Yue Qi whispered, presumably trying to be reassuring.

“- Get away from me!” Shen Jiu growled.

Xìan Fēi leaned towards Fēngbào to whisper a plan that had just popped into his head spontaneously.

Fēngbào nodded, approving his rather crazy plan.

They moved away from the other two cultivators before finally descending back to solid ground, after which they turned back towards what appeared to be two brothers in the middle of an argument.

Xìan Fēi looked at Fēngbào before they rushed into their sight.

“- Yue'Shixiong, what are you still doing here, we need you up front!” Xìan Fēi growled, scolding Yue QingYuan.

"- I..?! Shimei?!” Said Yue QingYuan, apparently trying to resonate Xìan Fēi, which was useless because Xìan Fēi did not kneel at anyone's knees, they were the ones kneeling in front of her.

"- If you're worried about your friend Shixiong, me and Shijie can take care of him, come on, we need you somewhere else!" Added Fēngbào.

“- I.. Alright, Xiao'Jiu stay with them, while I take care of the threat!” Said Yue QingYuan, before leaving, leaving the three of them completely alone.

Xìan Fēi turned back to Shen Jiu before adding.

"- How are you ?"

"- Yes, I'm fine thank you..." Shen Jiu thanked coldly.

"- No need to thank me, he seemed to be a little too pushy with you, I never liked him anyway." Xìan Fēi retorted.

“- I feel like we're going to get along..” Shen Jiu remarked.

"- Me too !" Xìan Fēi sneered.

“- Xìan Fēi! We're going to have to go, they summon all the people who are far from the center to leave the arena. Fēngbào exclaimed.

"- Are you coming...?" Began Xìan Fēi.

“- Shen Jiu, my name is Shen Jiu..” Said the young man, walking towards them.

"- Go on !" Fēngbào pressed, leading them towards what appeared to be an emergency exit.

Side by side, they headed for the exit, making sure not to make any noise, so as not to be spotted.

Xìan Fēi helped Shen Jiu walk over various obstacles that normally would have been easy for a cultivator but cumbersome for a villager.

Shen Jiu seemed like a cultivator who had his cultivation poisoned, normally the cure for its effects was scarce, and so he wouldn't have gotten it in time and it would have effectively prevented him from cultivating to his full potential.

Luckily, in the small village which was under the protection of Tian Gong Mountain, their Hua'didi had a fairly large house with a garden full of extremely rare flowers and herbs, and she was pretty sure he had a lot of Angelique Ark¹, accumulating them without telling them the reason.

She had always suspected that their A'Hua was much more than he said and suddenly the idea that he was an oracle didn't seem bothersome, in fact she had expected him. is the.

And if the person he stacked the Angelic Ark¹ for was Shen Jiu, then she had no problem with that, he seemed like a good boy, who just needed a little help.

“- Are we there soon..?” Shen Jiu asked, looking out of breath from running.

“- Yes, we've arrived soon, hold on a little longer, if you can't, I'm sure Fēngbào won't mind carrying you..” Xìan Fēi began.

"- No need !" Shen Jiu interrupted, looking panicked.

“- Well, then hold on to me a bit, we’ll be there soon!” Reassured the cultivator.

Shen Jiu clung to Xìan Fēi before they set off again.

A few minutes later, they arrived at their destination, a disciple of Qian Cao greeted them, leading them to the tents that served as an emergency infirmary.

Fēngbào walked over to one of their An Ding colleagues, Shì Mei who was present before questioning him.

"- What can he do?" Asked the former disciples of Bai Zhan.

“- I was not present there, but from what I was told, it was superior type ice demons who triggered the attack.” Shì Mei replied.

“- Do we know why?”

“- Apparently the Huan Hua Palace² attacked the son of the King of the North a few weeks ago, if he had not managed to free himself and heal himself, he would have died there.” Confided Shì Mei.

"- It's because of this damn Palace that this attack even happened!" Jura Fēngbào.

"- I'm sorry, I have to go!" Shì Mei greeted, getting up before heading to another part of the makeshift camp.

Fēngbào went to collect food for Xìan Fēi as well as the boy they had separated from Yue QingYuan, who currently seemed to be in better condition than he had been earlier.

“- Oh! Bao'Xiong! You are finally there ! Xìan Fēi greeted, looking oddly nervous.

“- How is Shen Jiu?” Fēngbào retorted, worried.

Fēngbào's concern deepened when he saw Xìan Fēi take a deep breath, which seemed to take a lot of strength from him.

"- Simply put, he's fine.." she began.

"- But that's not all..." Guessed the young man, his expression sunk in apprehension.

"- As I suspected, he had his culture poisoned and only the Angelic Ark¹ could help him at this stage..." she finished.

"- Doesn't A'Hua have an Angelic Ark¹?" asked Fēngbào.

“- Yes but did you notice that he seemed to hoard it? Do you remember the theory we all talked about together, when A'Hua was sleeping? What if he was? What if A'Hua was an oracle! We must protect him A'Bào...” Xìan Fēi whispered, aggressively, sounding distraught and hysterical.

“- I know but first calm down A'Fēi, I don't really want us to get caught, we'll have to talk to A'Hua first but you can start getting along with Shen Jiu that we may have the means to help him...” Finished the noireau.

Xìan Fēi, next to Fēngbào looked at the sky with a distant gaze, they felt that soon, a new air will arrive, brought by their beloved Didi, Shang Hua.

Author's Notes:

So, we're soon to have the confrontation between Shang Hua and the rest of his martial siblings over whether or not he could be an oracle?

Sure.

Are we going to be able to give Shen Jiu a chance by healing his cultivation and making him a lot less bitter?

Yes of course !

Will we soon have the encounter between the JiuPlane? I.I don't think so, sorry....

I hope you liked this chapter, see you next time!

The next publication will be on February 12.

Chapter 13: Hiatus and why ?

Chapter Text

Hey guys, Sigma here!

I'm so sorry to give you this instead of a real chapter.

What happened is the fact that i just don't have time to write chapters in advance.

It is why I have to put this story on Hiatus.

I don't know when I will break the hiatus but I hope you understand my point of view, I will try to start posting again before the end of 2023.

Love you all, Sigma 🖤

Chapter 14: Update : yes, it's me

Notes:

Just a little update about my writing situation

Chapter Text
