Well I enjoy the story back in the infancy of its days, I find myself a little bit uncomfortable with the dynamic shift with nine tails.
I feel like the territory is just a little too off.
So I haven't been reading the most recent updates.I think I'm going to take a break from this fanfiction for a while.
And I'll come back to it later.
I still recommend reading it. It is a wonderful incredible work.
I just have some uncomfortable feelings about the extreme codependency or whatever it may be between Lee and Ninetails. It just feels, I don't know, sort of uncanny in a way.
But I do greatly enjoy the chapters that come before that shift.

Summary
Illuga finds a strange abandoned lantern with blue flames on his porch. It was if something or someone has left it there on purpose. After learning it was a relic of a lantern from the past, Illuga couldn't help but wonder why it was left on his porch.
Feeling a sense of duty to take care of the lantern, he takes it in and places it in his bedroom for safekeeping. The lantern acts strangely in his presence, but acts like a husk when around others. So, he takes care of it for a week until the lantern seems to come more alive than normal and a strange man named Flins appears, speaking to him as if they’ve known each other for a while.
