"I... don't have time for this, Dorothea...", Edelgard said with absolutely no confidence behind her words. If she were a free woman with no responsibilities, she would have jumped on Dorothea and devoured every inch of her, but the chains of her position held her back.
"You don't even believe that yourself." The words pierced her. Dorothea, as always, knew her so well it frightened her. She was the one who said the right words when she couldn't. "No responsibility is worth giving up the human touch," Dorothea continued.
