Summary
Destiny is a funny thing. A split-second decision results in Zuko being injured during the escape from Pohuai Stronghold. Aang is determined to turn an enemy into a friend and, despite their doubts, Sokka and Katara find themselves also starting to better understand their erstwhile pursuer. For Katara and Zuko, this new understanding could even lead to something more.

Incredible. I have a lot more to say but I stayed up all night to finish this and I must sleep
I loved this. So much. It took a little bit to get fully absorbed into the story, but once I was in, I was GONE.
Omg the drama, the character development , the plot! I love everything about this story. This is so great and I’m heaavvillly invested in the story now. I can’t wait to see where this goes; the fight for the North, the Northern tribespeople’s, and then the Gaang leaving the North!
I’m really looking to them meeting Toph. Also poor Iroh thinks Zuko is dead currently, so that’s intense. And I’m genuinely frightened of the person Azula is shaping up to be in this story. An actual monster, which is wild to say since there are already so many terrible people introduced.
