Summary
It has been a year now. To Kalego’s relief, the familiar contract can now either be renewed or broken.
While Kalego wanted to break the contract, Opera wanted to renew the contract. Both of them decided to fight for the decision either to renew or to break the contract.
But luckily, Balam makes it in time to stop them before it can get out of hand. Balam strictly reprimands them for not asking for Iruma’s opinion on this.
Which is how they ended up in the very room, all three of them, patiently awaiting Iruma’s thoughts.
“Er… Well, I… I don’t know. It felt nice to have Kalego-sensei as my familiar… I-“.
A pause. Iruma stopped, not knowing what to say. It felt as if there was a lump in his throat, something preventing him from speaking.
