Chapter 1: Intro

From: Izumeno and Jubichard
Welcome to the Non Despair Plasmaverse one-shots! This collection will feature stories with the Plasmaverse cast and v3 cast, who live a normal high school life. There will be no death or despair. Just usual high school drama, with all the stereotypes and fun.
Uploading will be irregular, but I will try to upload and write at least once a week. The stories are connected, but they don't follow a linear structure in the slightest. So it's basically just a collection of short stories and whatnot. More lighthearted and fun.
What is the Plamaverse? Well it's a V3 AU, with Miu as the protag and tons of OCs and different story arcs. And those characters are part of this fic collection. Now if ya read the plasmaverse, you will get all references. But if you don't, then that's okay. This collection is for everyone.
Ahem. Now then, let me show you a list of the classes and school staff. Note please that because some of the students are Dr2 fan kids, Class 77-B will not be part of the cast. That doesn't mean they won't appear though. You'll see soon.
Now then, the classes are as follows.

Chapter 2: Adeku and Miu- Inventor Antics
Chapter by Izumeno
Summary:
Adeku is in his lab, when his best friend Miu enters, all pissed off and annoyed.
With Blue hair.
Notes:
Starting things of with the two childhood besties. I love writing bout their shenanigans and I do hope you like it too, so enjoy!
Chapter Text
Adeku was in his lab, tinkering with his machines. It was late in the afternoon and because he had nothing better to do, he decided to spend some time with tinkering. Right now he was working on a collab project with his best friend Miu, the Ultimate Inventor. She had spent the entire night working on the outer shell of the device and Adeku did not want to let her down at all.
Speaking of which, where was Miu? Usually, she'd be in her lab and work with him.
Oh right, I forgot to mention. Because Miu's and Adeku's talent are basically the same in all but name, the school decided to assign both of them to one lab. It was rather big and had all the stuff they need. Make-up for Miu, tons of sex toys for her own pleasure, some cartoon DVDs, along with some suspicous books titlted "Do not read.".
Adeku meanwhile, was also well off. His comic books and mangas were stored in a shelf, along with some rusty machine parts he got from the junkyard and a box of tools. That part of the lab also had a different floor pattern, being all orange to contrast Miu's pink. It was a request she made to the staff, to renovate it.
He was surprised, they actually agreed.
Wait, focus. Where was-
His question was answered, before he could even ask himself in his mind. Miu kicked the door open and stomped into the room annoyed, before shutting the door. Adeku perked up and smiled.
"Evening, Mi-"
His smile dropped and not because the inventor looked extremely pissed. But it was also because her hair...
...was blue.
"Heya Deku...", she muttered to him frustrated. "Sorry to be so fucking late, as you can see I was....busy...."
"Is.......that the result of your instant haircolor-maker?", he asked her and she nodded slowly.
"Yeah....it fucking is..."
"Th..then it works!", Adeku exclaimed and got up, before running up to her. "I...knew you could do it....Great j...job...that invention will change the world and....."
He stopped smiling, when he noticed that Miu wasn't smiling back. He tilted his head confused.
"I ain't in the fucking mood, to celebrate."
"Is....so..something wrong?", he asked her. "Did....Kokichi slut...shame you?"
"Well.....that too.", Miu sheepishly admitted, before shaking her head. "But there's one thing, I fucking forgot to programm."
"What do you-"
And then Adeku realised it, as he began to cover his mouth slowly.
"Wait....you..."
"Yeah.", she confirmed annoyed. "I fucking forgot, to add an option to return the hair to its original color! And now, I look like I fell into some smurf shit!"
"Sm..sm...smurf shit...", Adeku giggled, even though he was trying not to do that. But Miu glared at him irritated, so he coughed and stopped giggling. "Well......L...Let m take a look..at that de...device..."
Miu huffed and then took out some flashlight-thing, with the glass cover missing and a dial of all sorts of colors being attached to it, along with another dial to adjust the lightning of said color.
"How the hell am I supposed to go to class tommorrow?!", Miu asked herself ashamed, while covering her eyes. "Everyone's gonna fucking mock me and then Kokichi will add another stupid nickname, to his shitty name list."
"Miu..."
"That's it, I'm fucking done...Some kind of genius, I am...."
"Miu......"
"I am a horrible inventor, who talks big but can't act on that. Can't even swallow all the insults that Kokichi-"
Suddenly, her head tingled and before she could say anything else, her hair got its normal color back. She gasped surprised.
"Huh?! How did...."
Miu slowly turned around and saw that Adeku was aiming the flashlight at her hair, smiling sheepishly.
"I.....si...simply chose your haircolor and...adjusted the settings...", Adeku replied with a giggle. Miu's eye twitched and she then glanced on the ground.
"Godfuckingdamnit.....", she muttered embarassed, while Adeku patted her back.
"D...Don't be......so hard on yourself....", he said to her. "Th...the invention did work flawlessly after all.....Y...You just gotta think more..."
"I already think a lot, dipshit.", she mumbled annoyed, before letting out a sigh. "But...thanks for the help. Don't know, what I'd do without you."
"M...Maybe still suffer the effects of your blueberry-"
"Shut up!", Miu shouted grossed out. "We don't talk bout that failure!"
Adeku giggled amused and was about to give Miu the device, when it slid off his hands and fell onto the ground, shattering to pieces.
For a while, the two just stared at the mess in disbelief.
Then, some sparks came out.
Both looked at each other in horror.
BOOM
And so, when the dust cleared, the two were covered from head to toe, in a variety of colors. Miu spat some of it off her mouth and glared at Adeku, who rubbed his head sheepishly.
"Umm...oops."
Chapter 3: Kijo and Angie-Conflicted Beliefs
Chapter by Izumeno
Summary:
Kijo is relaxing and doing her regular calligraphy, when a certain artist shows up.
Notes:
(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
Kijo Tanaka was sitting in the courtyard, her trusty bible in one hand and a pen in the other one, she was making sure that every page looked as pretty as ever.
Most people would describe calligraphy as something extremely simple. Some wouldn't even call it art, given how it tended to be.
But Kijo didn't really care that much. She was doing calligraphy, because it was fun, and not because she wanted any kind of recognition. The way those letters looked in her eyes made her heart skip a beat. And to decorate her favorite bible even further, was going to be so amazing.
She couldn't wait to show it to the others, like Myadera, Korekiyo, Manae and-
"There you are!"
Kijo perked up surprised and fell off the bench. Groaning, the bible girl got up and shivered nervously.
She knew that voice. That overly excited tone was something that put even Manae and his mother to shame.
It was none other......
"Hiya!"
Kijo gulped and turned around, staring at the classmate nervously.
That being Angie Yonaga, dressed in her usual yellow coat and skirt, smiling at her.
"Oh....hello Angie.", Kijo greeted her. "You scared me..."
"I did? Sorry!", Angie exclaimed, rubbing her two cheeks and then giggling. "Angie has been looking for you the entire day, Kijo! Because Atua gave me a divine intervention!"
"Oh.....Divine intervention..."
"Yes, yes!", the artist replied and moved even closer. "See, Angie is curious! And so is Atua! You are always reading that book and I wanna know what that is! Tell me, please, please!"
"Well...."
"Pleeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaase?", she asked her, with puppy dog eyes. Kijo let out a sigh and began to explain.
"I....I am doing calligraphy.......for my bible..."
"Oh calligraphy?", Angie asked surprised briefly, before cheering. "How fun! Angie does that too!"
"Y...you do?"
"I sure do! Sometimes Atua asks me to do it!", she said, before putting her hand into the coat pocked and rummaging through it. Eventually, she took out a small notebook with red color and opened it up, shoving it into Kijo's face. The bible girl barely was able to stand and then glanced at the writing.
It was....rather pretty, to say the least. The font was soft, yet had edges and all letters were close to one another. The language was something she didn't know though.
"It looks pretty....", she admitted slowly. "But....what is that language of yours?"
"Oh that? That's the language of my people!", Angie explained excited. "We call it, kaawalian and we've spoken it, for generations to come!"
"That....that's interesting....", Kijo replied impressed.
"Thank you!", Angie exclaimed and then turned to her. "Now.....why did you run away from me the last time, we met?"
"Well......."
"Doubting Atua's word was not very nice of you.", she continued, leaning forward and waggling her finger.
"I...was....not doubting your word....or your god...", Kijo muttered fearfully. "I....I just have different beliefs.....that is all."
"Hmm....."
Angie stared at the notebook.
"I assume your god's beliefs, are written there?"
"Y...Yes....", Kijo said, before frowning. "Look Angie......I know you believe a lot in your god, Atua....And I accept that. But.....you can't just....become aggressive, when....I am not believing in your beliefs?"
She stared at Angie defiantly and the artist...
Wait, why did she look confused?
"Aggressive? Angie wasn't aggressive.", Angie answered dumbfounded.
"You were...You said......that you want to....h...have a chat with me.....In a weird tone...", she pointed out to her. Angie perked up and then frowned.
"Oh.....Is that why you ran away? Because you thought I was going to hurt you?"
"Y....Yes...."
The two stared at each other. Angie didn't smile and seemed stuck, as if she wasn't sure what to say. Which was somewhat comforting Kijo, given that she didn't know what to say either.
This went on for a while. But then Angie frowned and shook her head.
"Angie is sorry."
"Wh..What?", Kijo asked surprised and the artist nodded.
"I wasn't going to hurt you.", she stated. "Sister taught me, to not use violence against non-believers. Even if Atua would love that."
She chuckled briefly, before smiling more softly.
"Do you know what my sister said?", she asked Kijo, who shook her head. "She said that if there's a non-believer, you need to understand them. To see why they believe, what they believe. That's what I wanted to chat with you. Okay?"
"O....Oh...so you won't hurt me?"
"Of course I wouldn't!", Angie said with a laughter. "Why not come to my lab? We can spend some time there, learning about each other's beliefs. How does that sound?"
Kijo thought about it briefly.
Before slowly nodding, with a soft smile.
"I'd....love that.....", she said to her and Angie laughed too.
"Nyhahaha! Let's go then! We'll have a fun time and I'll take your blood!"
Kijo gasped surprised, but the artist giggled.
"It was a mere jest. Now come on!"
And with that, Angie dragged Kijo away, who wondered what she had brought upon herself.
Well....at least she'd get to live another day...

Chapter 4: Tsumugi and Keebo-Odd Duo
Chapter by Izumeno
Summary:
Tsumugi convinced Keebo to try out cosplaying.
He didn't know why but he couldn't find himself to say no.
Notes:
(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
"How long do I need to keep doing this?", Keebo asked the cosplayer, as he had his arms struck out to the side, all the while a certain cosplayer was measuring him with a tape. Tsumugi had taken off her jacket and was just wearing a plain white blouse, which acentuated some of her.....features and-
Wait, focus! Damn it, he was beginning to think like Miu!
"Only abit..", Tsumugi mumbled passively, measuring his leg. "You know, this takes plain time. Cosplay should be taken seriously, after all."
"I...understand.", the robot replied and began to regret, asking her.
You see, Keebo wanted to learn more about Tsumugi's cosplaying hobby. He had heard the term before, when he watched some animes in his youth along with his sibling. But, he had only taken some interest in it, when he met Tsumugi.
Her passion caught him completely off-guard, to say the least. On the outside, Tsumugi did appear to be more quiet and meek, but mention the terms "Anime", "Manga" and "Cosplay" and she'd perk up and deliver a full blown ramble, about her favorite mangas/animes.
To say that it was charming, would be an understatement for Keebo. After all, he was interested in japanese culture and Tsumugi's passion was an essential part of it, considering that cosplaying originated from Japan.
It was interesting.
But he's been standing here for literally an hour and it began to bore him. Tsumugi really was making sure that all of the measurements were accurate to his body, which he appreciated of course.
But his arms began to hurt.
"Tsumugi.....do I need to stand with my arms stretched to the side?", Keebo asked tired. "It...hurts."
"Huh? But you are T-posing!", Tsumugi replied confused. "If you pose like that, you can assert your dominance over others! That's how I do it, sometimes!"
"You....T-pose?", he asked and the cosplayer blushed slightly.
"Well...sometimes, when I'm alone.", she mumbled embarrassed, before getting up and having a focused look on her face. "In any case, I made the measurements and I'd say, I can begin the sewing part."
She then walked to the sewing machine and turned it on, beginning with some dark fabric. As she did that, Keebo watched her movements.
Soft...fluid, focused. Her hands moved automatically, as if she was a machine designed to sew.
He only ever saw robots work like that. His father once showed him around the factory and indeed, the machines there worked in a simmilar vein to Tsumugi.
Focused, Fluid and......
"Tsumugi?"
"Hm?", Tsumugi asked and she stopped surprised. "Is something wrong?"
"Well....I wanted to ask you something weird.", he told her. "Are you a robot?"
Tsumugi perked back and glanced at him flabbergasted.
"A robot? Me?", she asked surprised. "I mean, I did cosplay as a few robots before....But I am not a robot. I am human, 100%."
"I see......Sorry for asking this question.", the robot answered embarassed. "It's just...your hand work is so fluid......I never saw anyone work like that before. Not even Angie's movements are this fluid."
"Hmm...I suppose so.", Tsumugi admitted, adjusting her glasses. "Truth be told, I had a friend who taught me sewing."
"A...friend?", Keebo asked surprised and she giggled.
"Yeah. She got me into cosplaying and taught me everything. How to sew, measure and how to make sure your hands don't make a mess. Sometimes, we'd watch some animes at night."
"Interesting.... That friend of yours must be quite impressive then."
"Oh, she is.", the cosplayer confirmed with an admiration in her eyes. "Their talent...is truly beyond this world. They can sew so effortlessly and sometimes I wonder, if they're not some kind of machine that's made for sewing."
"That would explain your own, mechanical-like movements.", Keebo realised amazed. "Having an old sensei sure must be nice."
"Old?", Tsumugi asked surprised and she shook her head. "She isn't an old woman. She's just a year older than me."
"E...Excuse me?", Keebo asked dumbfounded and Tsumugi giggled amused.
"Yeah....She does speak in a very old tone though and her language is quite sophisticated. But that's only because she lived in Britain for a while. Guess she adopted quite the mannerisms."
"Interesting.......And she didn't decide to enroll here?"
"Well, I think she did get an offer.", Tsumugi answered, beginning to sew again. "But she rejected it and said that I should go instead. Saying that my passion for cosplay, far outshines her love for sewing."
"I see.....That's nice of her.", Keebo commented. "It's the same with my sibling... They are extremely skilled, yet they wanted me to enroll at Hope's Peak."
"Your sibling? Are the another robot?", Tsumugi asked him and Keebo shook his head.
"Well....no."
"Then it's a human?", the cosplayer wondered aloud. "Did your maker have a family of his own?"
"You...could say that.", Keebo replied and Tsumugi nodded interested.
"I see. You know, we four should make. My friend, your sibling and you and me. We could hang out if you'd like."
"I..I'm not opposed to it.", Keebo replied and smiled. "You're fun to talk to, Tsumugi."
"Likewise. You're way better than those CharAI bots. They're just cheap.", she commented and Keebo raised an eyebrow.
"Is that supposed to be robophobic?"
"Hm.", Tsumugi hummed and befor Keebo could say more, she focused on her work again. Keebo considered speaking again, but he decided to stay silent, for the time being.
He didn't want to ruin this beautiful moment. Not at all.
Notes:
And another interaction! The MM and Pseudo Co MM, I hope you enjoyed that one and I'll see you soon.
Chapter Text
“Nono! This one! It’s so cute! That color fits you way better!”
“No way! You’re just saying that to make me wear something revealing!”
“And why would I do that?”
“You know why, cheeky!”
Close to the academy, there was a big shopping mall in the city. It had all kinds of business located inside of it, ranging from coffee shops, restaurants, fast-food restaurants, toy stores, video games stores and...Okay, I think you get the picture. This mall was big and had something for everyone.
Over the weekend, the shopping mall was speckled with students. Many of the store owners noticed quickly that they could make a lot more if they started selling articles more popular with the youth. One of those stores recently started selling a big variety of bathing suits.
And so it happened that two girls were picking bikini after bikini to see which would be the perfect fit, while a single standing guy was patiently standing in the back of the store, pretending to look for a new pair of pants to buy.
“Rantaro!”, one of the girls shouted, “Check this one out!”
Rantaro perked up and then slowly turned around, only to feel his cheeks reddening. Because Kaede Akamatsu was holding a beautiful red swimsuit in her hand.
When she and Shinobu first met each other at Hope's Peak, both hit off perfectly. Kaede was intrigued by her taste in fashion and knowledge regarding make-up and nail polishing, considering that the pianist barely had time for stuff like that given her rigorous piano practices.
The two went shopping all the time, yet today they asked him to accompany them. At first Rantaro was a bit surprised, before realising what his sister wanted, when he entered this store.
And now, Kaede was holding that bikini... God it looked so good and..
"Rantaro?", Kaede asked him and he perked up, before forcing himself to smile.
“Yeah... I think that would look great on you.”, he said nonchalantly.
The other girl, who had the same green hair as Rantaro started laughing, while the blonde looked annoyed.
“Not for me, dummy! For Shinobu! We don’t even have the same size! Jeez...”, the blonde said annoyed and turned to Shinobu. "Is he always so absent-minded?"
"Sometimes.", Shinobu replied with a giggle, before turning to her brother with a smirk. "Anyways, I think Rantaro agrees with me when I say that it’s a bit too revealing. Or do you think your little sister would look cute in something like this, onii-Chan?”
The blonde looked surprised and her cheeks reddened slightly, with a mix of surprise and shock. This girl... What was she thinking, teasing her brother with a bikini of all things?
Rantaro noticed Kaede's baffled expression and then let out a soft laugh.
“Easy, Kaede. She does this all the time. It’s called being siblings.”, he said with a reassuring smile. Then he turned to Shinobu and said: “I think it does look good on you, Shinobu. The red has a nice contrast with your eyes and hair.”
Now it was Shinobu’s turn to look embarrassed. She didn’t expect such a direct and honest answer from her brother. Especially in front of her new friend, who began to giggle amused.
“You think so? Well... jeez... Then maybe I really should take it?”, she said while looking a little embarrassed at them too.
Kaede’s look of amusement shifted to supportive determination. “Of course you should, silly! You look really sexy in that bikini! Come and try it on!”, she said enthusiastically and she pushed Shinobu away to a fitting room.
A little later, the three students were sitting comfortably at the café, each with their own hot beverage. Kaede had a latte macchiato, Shinobu an Americano and Rantaro had a green tea. They also had their own shopping bags sitting next to them. Kaede and Shinobu’s each contained some bikini sets and cute summer shirts. While Rantaro’s had bought some jeans with cut pipes.
You'd think that both girls would be in a good mood, but that simply wasn't the case. Staring through the window, both frowned upon seeing all the thick clouds covering the sky, as raindrops were dropping from the sky like flies, making a surprisingly relaxing ambience (for Rantaro at least). But the weather did not bring a smile on their faces, as Shinobu groaned depressed.
“Jeez... And then to think that they call this summer... At this rate, we will never be able to wear those cute bikinis!”, Shinobu said while staring at the sky, wishing for the clouds to go away and for the sun to shine again. Rantaro put a hand on her shoulder and flashed a smile.
“Relax. Next week, this depressing weather will finally go away. Maybe it will even be good enough, to spend time at the beach.”, he said reassuringly.
“Not that I would have much time anyway...”, Kaede signed saddened, rubbing her hair, “I have a performance of 'Rondo Alla Turca' at the local old folk's home. And I need to practice...”
"Ah.", the traveller realised and yet kept smiling. "Well. It never hurts to hope, doesn't it?"
"I...guess not.", Kaede answered with a sigh, as Shinobu began to smile again. Her brother's words immediately lifted her mood again.
“If the weather is hot enough, maybe you should perform in your new bikini!”, Shinobu said teasingly, while giving Kaede a soft kick underneath the table. The pianist rolled her eyes.
"It sure is a one-way ticket to house arrest.", Kaede replied and Rantaro chuckled.
"And a way to turn the old folk's home, into a morgue.", the traveller added with a smirk, as the blonde pouted.
“Hey come one... I’m not that ugly right?”, Kaede answered, puffing her cheeks. The brother chuckled and shook his head.
“Ah. Of course not. That’s not what I was referring to."
“Then what were you referring to, onii-chan?”, Shinobu said with a cheeky smile, turning to Kaede. She immediately understood the message and put on the same smile, giving Rantaro yet another example of the art of telepathic female communication.
“She's right, Rantaro. Come on, don’t be shy and tell me.”, Kaede added with a smirk and both of their looks made the traveller visibly sweat, as he let out a sigh.
“Come one ladies, cut it out.", Rantaro muttered, flustered, as Shinobu giggled.
“Hihi! You were totally blushing! Totes!”, Shinobu exclaimed proudly.
“You were as tense as a pianist trying La Campanella from Franz Liszt!”, Kaede added happily.
“Yeah... what she said...”, Rantaro said with a forced chuckle. He had no idea, which song the pianist was referring to. He'd need to look it up later.
After finishing his drink, he put some money on top of the bill and stood up, giving the girls a soft smile. “Let’s go.”
Later that night, Kaede heard some soft knocking on the door of her dorm-room. She pulled open slightly and saw that it was Shinobu.
“Shinobu? What are you doing here so late?”, she whispered with a surprised expression.
“It’s not like you were sleeping...”, Shinobu whispered back, “You don’t even look tired. Anyway, is Karate-girl sleeping?”
“Karate Girl? ....Oh you mean Tenko? Yeah... She was training all day.”, Kaede noticed while looked behind her to her sleeping roommate. She was snoring and blowing a big gross bubble from her nose.
“Good, good.”, Shinobu whispered as she quietly snuck inside the room, “I know she hates me, so it’s for the best she’s out for now.”
“She doesn’t hate you per se...”, the blonde replied, “But anyway, why are you here?”.
Shinobu flashed a grin and then pullet out something from behind. A plastic bag containing all their bikinis and a rather old, yet stury camera.
“We bought new bikini’s right? Well, we should have a photo-shoot! Like the models we are!”, she whispered enthusiastically, “I borrowed this bad boy from Klaus. He said it’s from his mom and I promised him to be careful with it.”
Without awaiting a response, she pushed Kaede inside the bathroom with her own shopping bag.
“Tonight, YOU are Clair de Lune!”, she whispered afterward and then closed the door swiftly and quietly.

Okay so this one was actually written from Jubi and not by me. All I did was polish his writing at a few parts, but I did like this interaction personally. Kaede and Shinobu get along very well.

Chapter Text
In the kitchen of Hope's Peak, one girl was preparing the meal. Long blonde hair, a beautiful white dress along with a light blue apron and a smile on her face. That was Amai Kocho, Hope's Peak residential and unofficial Ultimate Cook. She was currently preparing another delicious meal, when the doors opened and a certain detective entered.
Who was it? Why, it's Shuichi of course.
"Amai.....", he said to her and the blonde perked up, turning around and giving her a smile
.
"Oh, hi Shuichi! What brings you here?", she asked him happily, her hands not leaving the board and the knife.
"Well....I wanted to ask you something.", the detective replied to her and Amai raised an eyebrow.
"Asking me? About what? My beauty? My 90 k dress? My kinks?", she asked and he blushed at the last part. Amai saw this of course and giggled. "Forget the last part, sweetie. What can I help you with?"
"Well..... You are a great cook, even rivaling Kirumi and that one Remnant of Despair.", he began and then noticed Amai turning back to the cutting board. "I...I wasn't finished-"
"Oh, I am still listening Shuichi.", Amai replied relaxed, as she began to chop vegetables. "But I need to prepare dinner for this evening, so I gotta focus on that. But, do go on."
"Okay.....I understand.", Shuichi said and coughed a bit, before continuing. "Well....you are a very skilled cook, yet you said that you weren't accepted for your cooking skills. Which I find weird."
"Why's that weird?", Amai asked nonchalantly, as she cut some cucumbers.
"Because you haven't told us your actual reason for acceptance yet.", he replied, glancing at her. "I mean.....You cook so well and yet, you said it's not your best ability."
"Yeah and? Does a title need to restrict your abilities to one specific field?", Amai snarked amused. "Does that mean that you only solve cases and do nothing else in your free time?"
"I never said that.", Shuichi answered with a sigh. "It's just....weird. We're all open about our main fields....But you don't even let anyone enter your lab."
"Neither does Maki.", she pointed out. "We don't need to share everything now, do we?"
"I mean....."
"Shuichi, you should know that people have different reasons for hiding the truth and keeping things to themselves. You know that, right?"
The detective went quiet for a moment, pondering the question. Amai began to hum happily.
"Did I hit a nerve?"
Shuichi didn't answer that question and Amai stopped chopping, before walking to a pot and pouring all the vegetables into hot water. She then turned to him and noticed how his face had gone pale.
"Shuichi? You're okay? Are you feeling sick?"
"Hm? N...No, I'm fine.", Shuichi replied and adjusted his hat. "Sorry...I didn't mean to be intrusive."
"Nah, don't apologise.", Amai answered gently. "You ain't the first who asked me. I'll tell you my profession in the future. But you gotta give me time, you know? I mean we've barely been at this school for a month."
"I...suppose.....", the detective answered, before nodding. "Well....Okay, I won't ask you again for now."
"Thanks, sweetie.", Amai said with a gentle smile. "Say...why don't you help me with cooking?"
"Help you?"
"Yeah. Four hands are better than two. Right?", she asked him and smiled. "Or do you let your girlfriend do all the cooking for you?"
"My girlfriend?"
"You know. The pianist.", she reminded him with a smirk. "Never saw you as the guy, who'd let women do all the work."
"Kae....Kaede isn't my girlfriend.", he stumbled, before shaking his head. "And...she doesn't really cook either."
"She...doesn't?", Amai asked taken aback. "Why's that? Is she addicted to insta noodles?"
She giggled and Shuichi shook his head.
"No, it's more like...she doesn't want to dirty her fingers, in order to play the piano properly."
"Huh. Well, never expected her dedication to be this big.", the blonde commented surprised. "You learn something new every day. Anyways, are you going to help me or do you want to stare at my expensive clothes? Because believe me, you can do it at any other time, when I am not in the kitchen."
"Ah..Sure, I'll help.", Shuichi quickly said and the blonde clapped content.
"Sweet! I think we'll be having some fun! Grab an apron and we can begin! Oh and don't drop anything. Otherwise I'd need to clean it up. Okay?"
Shuichi nodded and grabbed an apron, as Amai glanced at him content.
This was going to be fun.
Notes:
Well in the original, Amai was....you know. But here, she's real in all her glory and whatnot. I think you'll like her.

Chapter 7: Kirumi and Manae: Night Shift
Chapter by Izumeno
Notes:
(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
"Oh yeah!"
Manae was in the music room, his headphones covering his ears, as he began to play some sick beats on the DJ board. Humming and dancing to the rhythm, he smiled widely as the music flowed through his body, like an electrical jolt. Moonlight was shining through the window at him, which mixed well with the colorful lights that came from the DJ board.
Today was rather exhausting, with all the classes and lectures from the teachers. Manae didn't mind the homeroom teacher, as Mrs. Momota was a nice lady. But he couldn't care less about Marie Curie or any sort of chemic classes, not to mention some theoretical practices on physical education.
He even wondered, at times why they'd have to even learn about physical education in class. Shouldn't they just go outside or go to the gym, in order to move around and to have fun?
Pouting to himself lightly, Manae's mood quickly improved when the loud music began to play through his ears, the beats becoming faster and rougher. It was a miracle that his ears didn't explode, considering that his dad told him that he inherited his hearing abilities from his mother.
Manae didn't know either. But Manae also didn't care in the slightest.
As he moved around in his seat with a big smile, enjoying the rhythm and beginning to fall in an ecstatic state...
The music suddenly stopped.
Surprised, Manae opened his eyes and gasped.
"Huh?! Where did Manae's music go?", he asked bewildered, and his eyes darted across the room, when he noticed someone holding the cable in their hand. They plugged it out.
And that person was who?
Kirumi Tojo, the maid from the other class, that's who. And she didn't look happy in the slightest. Manae began to smile.
"Rumi! Are you here to join Manae?", he asked he and the maid shook her head.
"No, I did not.", she told him sternly. "My classmates are complaining about some loud noises, so I came down to look. Only to find you here."
She let out a sigh.
"Manae, it is 3 in the morning. The others are trying to sleep."
"Huh? It's not 3 in the morning!", Manae protested with a grin. "Because Manae started at 9 and had been playing music for only half an hour!"
"Is that so?", Kirumi asked with a raised eyebrow, before walking towards the clock on the wall, pointing at it.
It was 3.24 AM.
Manae gasped.
"Ah! Why is the clock broken? Did Manae's music break it?", he asked terrified, and Kirumi frowned.
"No, your music did not break the clock. It works just fine.", she replied and crossed her arms. "You have simply been playing music far longer than you realised."
"Huh? But....Manae doesn't get it!", he protested confused. The maid yawned and approached him further, trying her best to sound calm and polite.
"You were in the flow state.", Kirumi told him. "In a flow state, you lose all sense of your time, in favor of enhanced productivity and enjoyment. And because you had so much fun with this activity, you didn't realise how much time actually passed."
"Ah.........", Manae realised, before frowning. "So Manae forgot time......Manae is sorry for being a nuisance."
He glanced down saddened and combed through his pink hair. Kirumi's look softened and she put a hand on his shoulder.
"Manae, please do not feel bad.", she said to him with a small smile. "You are a talented DJ. But you should at the very least, be mindful of other people's boundaries. You can play your music at a different time, when the others aren't asleep."
"But....Manae barely has any time....", he protested weakly. "I mean...classes are full and-"
"You can only do so in the evening. I am aware.", Kirumi interrupted him. "Then next time around, try making a playlist and the moment this playlist ends, you will stop playing music. And please make it short."
"I see....."
Manae frowned and then looked up sheepishly.
"Normally, I don't like to use playlists, because they make things predictable.", he said with a small pout, before smiling. "But...for his friends, Manae can make an exception."
"Good. Then we have an agreement.", Kirumi answered with a smile. "Thank you for-"
But all of a sudden, Manae gave Kirumi a big hug.
"Thanks for looking out for us!", he said happily, as the maid blushed furiously and nodded slowly.
"You.....you are welcome, but...can you let go? My bones....are hurting."
"Oh? Sorry!", Manae said and then let go, with a giggle. He then yawned and turned to the exit. "Oh well! Manae is gonna go to sleep now! Goodnight, Rumi!"
With that, he dashed out of the music room with so much speed that he knocked over some of the instruments, leaving behind a huge mess. Kirumi let out a tired sigh and yet, she couldn't really stay mad at Manae.
He was just....way too pure for that.
And so, she ended up going to bed at 6 AM, before waking up at 6.30 AM to make breakfast.
All in a day's work.

Chapter 8: Amai and Myadera- Friends
Chapter by Izumeno
Notes:
(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
"You read?", Amai asked, as she entered Myadera's dorm to hang out with her. The first thing that came to mind was all the pornographic material. And the next thing that stood out to her were the pile of books on her bed. They were ranging from different topics, from novels, to history books, to even philosophical books.
Myadera turned to her with a smile.
"In my free time, I do."
"But...I thought ya'd masturbate non-stop.", Amai asked bewildered and Myadera giggled.
"Well...as much as I'd love to do that, masturbating 24/7 is tiring and gets old very quickly. Plus, I am not a complete porn junkie. I have other interests. Like baking."
"True.", Amai realised and fiddled with her long hair. "It's how we got to know each other after all. When we I was trying to bake those darn brownies and ya were just passing by."
"Indeed.", Myadera replied amused. "I didn't expect you to have troubles with baking, given your excellent cooking skills."
"Yeah, cooking is one thing. Baking is a whole other one. And it's likely because I am not trying to eat too much fat stuff.", Amai commented, her hands roaming over her figure. "Can't ruin this body now, can I?"
"True, but there's nothing wrong from enjoying a treat every now and then.", Myadera pointed out and then smiled. "Plasma does love those hips of mine too."
"Yeah, he sure is down bad for you. Given how often ya two have public sex.", Amai commented dryly, to which Myadera blushed.
"Now, now.....Don't talk about it like that...", she said flustered and Amai giggled amused, before taking a closer look at one of the books.
"The Capital....", she read and Myadera perked up.
"Ah yes. I was reading that one, just now.", Myadera explained. "Marx's theories on society are intriguing.....Even if they ended up damaging the world in the long-run."
"Yeah. Some assholes took his beliefs and twisted it, for their own benefits.", the blonde replied and shook her head. "Can't say I'm a huge fan of the theory itself.....Is just way too unrealistic."
"In what way?", Myadera asked curiously, to which Amai turned around and let out a sigh.
"I mean...everyone's treated fair..everyon owns everything....That's not really human-like, is it? And for the state to control the media and surpress individual wishes is ass too. Utopia justifies the means, my ass x 2."
"Hmm....that is a good point.", Myadera answered and then smiled. "You are also into philosophy?"
"Eh. I sometimes read those books, when I'm bored.", she replied and shrugged. "Nothing big, really."
"Interesting. You surprise me again and again, Amai.", Myadera commented. "Truth be told, when I first met you, you striked me as vain and snobby. Yet...."
"You were wrong. The same way I was wrong about you, being a down-bad filty whore, who wants to fuck her brother non-stop.", Amai commented and then let out a sigh. "Sorry for what I said back then bout you and your brother."
"It is in the past now, don't worry.", she replied and then turned towards the window, watching the evening sky. "Though...I do not blame you, for thinking like that to begin with. I.....do have issues."
"Yeah that's obvious.", Amai answered and approached her. "But say....Why are ya so obsessed with porn?"
"Hm?", the raven haired woman hummed, before fiddling with her hairstrains. "Well...Our parents, before we lost them, were very conservative people....Told me and Korekiyo to always behave to not engage in gross behavior. This didn't count just for porn by the way, but also for internet memes and cartoons like SpongeBob. And the more they forbade us that, the more we got interested in it. So....eventually we found some used hentais in the trash and...got invested."
She hummed in delight.
"We associated pornography with something exciting, because it was so frowned upon. And well....we masturbated. Seperately, mind you. Me and Korekiyo would never go so far, as to have sex and to date each other. Just the thought...it grosses me out."
Amai nodded interested and grinned.
"Wow. So you do can restrain yourself."
"What is that supposed to mean?", Myadera asked her, turning to her somewhat annoyed. Amai giggled amused.
"Nevermind. Say....can we talk more bout Nietzsche? You said ya were reading some of his works and I think we can learn from each other."
Myadera's look softed and she nodded.
"That does sound delightful. Can you prepare some tea for us?"
"Chamomile and Lemon?"
"Yes."
Amai smirked.
"Perfecto."

Chapter Text
"Alright, everyoene! We'll run around the track for five laps!", a tanned older woman with long brown hair tied into a long ponytail was saying. She was wearing a rather white school jacket, along with some dark blue accents and the jacket itself covered up a rather strong and pudgy figure, yet a slim built nonetheless. The woman was holding a whistle and was glancing at the students, giving them a cheerful look.
But her smile dropped, when she noticed something.
"Hold on.", she realised and tilted her head. "Where is Shinobu?"
"I don't know.", Madoka answered with a shrug. "It is possible that she is still changing in the changing room."
"Ooo, taking this long to change?", Rui commented with a smirk, as Tenko gave her a dissaproving frown.
"Rui, she is just trying to change into her uniform! Don't say degenerate stuff like that, please!", Tenko answered and turned to Aoi with a sigh. "Mrs. Asahina, we should just wait a little more."
"Wait? In this stupid heat?", Kaito asked annoyed, to which Tenko gave him a dirty look.
"Quiet, degenerate!"
"What? It's over 30 degrees outside and I don't wanna get myself a sunburn!", the astronaut shouted back, to which the aikido master glared at him even more irritated.
"Oh, so you want to be taught a lesson?!", she shouted and cracked her knuckles, as Kaito punched both of his fists together.
"You wanna fight? Come at me!""
So, before the others could protest, they charged at each other and-
Both of their fists were caught.
By their gym teacher of course, Aoi Asahina. She gave both a stern look and were holding both of their fists in place.
"Guys, can you please not ruin your energy to run and not to beat each other up?"
"Wh- But Mrs. Asahina-"
"Tenko.", Aoi said to her sternly and then turned to Kaito. "And Kaito. If you do not back off, I'll give you two detention."
"I...Fine.", the astronaut pouted and the aikido master nodded along. Aoi smiled again and then let go, as both classmates rubbed their hands in pain, before she turned to the changing room.
"I'll go look for Shinobu. The rest of you, please do some stretching exercises.", she told them and then walked off quickly, leaving them behind and heading to the girl's locker room. Approaching it, Aoi knocked on it gently.
"Shinobu? Are you in there?", Aoi asked her sweetly.
"No, I am not! Like....I am not in there!", Shinobu answered panicked and Aoi raised an eyebrow.
"Okay...."
She then opened the door and got in, only to see a rather...interesting scene.
Shinobu did not change into her workout clothes and she was looking rather embarassed and irritated, much to Aoi's confusion.
"Umm...Shinobu, why aren't you dressed yet?", the coach asked bewildered and the green haired gal groaned irritated.
"Because of this!"
She grabbed her gym bag and opened it up, only for water to pour out and empty across the floor, her gym clothes following them right along. Aoi moved a bit back surprised and raised an eyebrow.
"What the...."
"Kokichi thought that it was a funny idea, to just fill my gym bag with water!", Shinobu complained annoyed. "He snuck my gym bag away, before class and when I got it back and wanted to change...this happened! I can't just exercise like that!"
"But you can just use your regular clothes."
"No, duh! Those clothes aren't cheap, ya know? Not to mention, those aren't for exercising!"
"I see....And yeah, those clothes aren't made for exercising either...", Aoi mused, as she thought for a moment and then snapped her fingers. "I got it!"
The coach walked towards one of the doors nearby and took out a key, opening it up. She then turned to Shinobu, motioning her to follow her and the wannabe valley girl did walk after her, confused and curious what the coach had to offer.
They entered another locker room, one designed for coaches by the looks of it and Aoi approached her locker and then opened it up, revealing very neatly folded gym clothes, a bag full of sweets, protein shakes and.....
A dark red workout outfit. She grabbed it and handed it to Shinobu.
"Change into that."
"Okay?", Shinobu asked confused and she went into the girl's locker room, before getting out fully changed. It matched perfectly and amazed, Shinobu glanced at her figure. "Woah...this fits so well..."
"Thanks.", Aoi answered with a shaking smile. "It belonged to me, when I was your age...I used to wear it, whenever I exercised with my best friend."
"Your...best friend?", Shinobu asked surprised and Aoi perked up, before walking forward.
"Ahem....let's get outside, okay? We'll run five laps, okay?"
"Five laps?! Urgh!", Shinobu complained annoyed. "And what about Kokichi?"
Aoi turned to her, her smile turning into a smirk.
"He'll run 10 laps."
Shinobu smirked.
"Say no more."

Chapter by Izumeno

Chapter Text
"Woah, that's so cool!", Rui muttered amazed, as Reiji showed off his new golden watch to her.
"Impressive, isn't it?", he asked rhetorically with a smirk. "Only cost me 2 Million Dollars. Look how it shines...And it even has elephant hair, for the clock handles."
"Hmm...Elephant hair...", Rui said with a growing smirk. "Maybe I should get some......I think I'd be able to make good use of those for my hair strains."
"Indeed.", he commented and shrugged. "If you want, I can book you a flight to Africa so you can go there and....do your business."
"Ah yes.", Rui realised and nodded. "Yeah....I do need to perform some business duties there."
Giggling creepily, Reiji smiled confidently when he suddenly heard steps. Turning around, he scoffed and then saw a red haired boy with a messy appearance walking past him.
AKA Klaus Hinata.
Looking away, Reiji struck out a leg and Klaus stumbled upon it, causing him to smack on the ground. Reiji and Rui giggled to themselves, as Klaus slowly got up, frustrated and then glared at the two.
"What...the hell was that for?"
"Oh, I am so sorry.", Reiji answered, feigning regret. "It's just...it's hard to see ants, when they are so small."
"Ant? What kind of bullshit are you talking about?", Klaus muttered and glared at him. "The hell's your problem, Scrooge?"
"My problem?", Reiji wondered aloud and turned to Rui. "Rui, can you please help me remind me?"
"Sure thing! There's a good reason, you're hating bubble blower!", she exclaimed happily and the businessman nodded.
"Ah yes....Of course."
He turned to him and smirked.
"I can't stand you, because you do not deserve to be here."
"Wh..what's that supposed to mean?!", Klaus snapped, shaking with rage and Reiji let out an annoyed sigh.
"All of us have some sort of special talent, yet you can only blow bubbles. Wow. How very valuable.", he commented and then smirked at him, in content. "Just looking at you, makes me feel nauseous."
Klaus gritted his teeth and then closed his eyes for a moment, before shaking his head.
"Wow. Daddy's boy is a wimp, eh?", he asked and Reiji stopped smiling, as he glared at him.
"....What did you say?"
"You heard me....", Klaus replied and then got up, towering over him. "You're feeling nauseous, just for seeing a commoner? How come you're not in the hospital yet? Or are you too busy spending your money on useless, luxurious crap? I mean come on. Why spend so much money, just to know the time?"
His smirk widened and Reiji growled at him angrily, tightening his fist.
"Watch...your mouth...."
"Ditto. You should brush your teeth more.", Klaus replied with a snark, and then Reiji gave him a strong kick to the chest and began to stomp on him.
"Don't talk down to me, vermin!", he shouted venomously. "You and I will never be equals, you hear me? People hate and loathe you, because you are so useless and pathetic!"
Klaus tried to get up, but Reiji stomped on his hand, causing the brunette to scream in pain. Rui watched curiously and Reiji was about to deliver another kick, when all of a sudden....
"Cease this at once!"
Reiji perked up and turned around, before smirking. Kijo Tanaka was standing nearby and had her arms crossed, giving him a stern look. The businessman laughed.
"Oh my, Kijo. Are you here to save your boyfriend?", he asked mockingly and grinned. "Go ahead then. I'll just beat trash like you on the ground and-"
"A stingy man hastens after wealth and does not know that poverty will come upon him.", Kijo interrupted him and Reiji raised an eyebrow.
"The hell?"
"Oh, I know that one!", Rui realized happily. "Provers 28:22, right? From the bible?"
"....Y...Yes.", Kijo mumbled, taken aback surprised that Rui knew where the saying came from. But no matter, she needed to focus. So, she stepped towards Reiji and glared, as the rich boy rolled his eyes.
"What? You're gonna slap me or something?"
"............I pity you."
"Wh...What?", Reji wondered bewildered and Kijo shook her head.
"For you to prey on the weak.....for you to prey on those, who are hurt....You must not feel well, to take your aggression out on others. I pity you."
"Wh-"
Kijo just completely ignored him and then helped Klaus up, patting the dust off his clothes. He smiled.
"Thanks, Kijo....."
"Your welcome.", she replied politely. "Let's go to the nurse office and...."
She gave Reiji a glare.
"Report this to the Headmaster."
And before the other two could even say anything else, Kijo walked off with Klaus and Reiji stared after her bewildered. Rui smirked.
"Wow, that girl's pretty and has guts. I like her.", she commented amused, before turning to Reiji. "Funny, ain't it?"
"Quiet....", he replied annoyed and then stormed off, as Rui laughed and then followed him.
Notes:
Now Reiji seems more of a jerk here, but considering how he was in KLV its not too surprising. In that one, he had offscreen character development. This is how his character was, during his first Killing Game. A jerk eh?

KNOCK KNOCK
"Come the fuck in!", Miu shouted from the workbench, as she was slamming the hammer onto the massive box. The door opened up to her lab and someone skipped towards her, pink-blue hair and a big smile on his face.
"Hi, Mew Mew!", Manae greeted her happily. "How are you doing?"
"Fucking fine.....", Miu mumbled to herself, while slamming more on the invention. Manae watched in interest, while glancing around.
"Oh, where is Deku Chan?"
"Adeku is buying some snacks for tonight.", Miu explained to him and turned around, lifting up her goggles from her face and smirking. "We're gonna have a Spongebob Marathon, ya know."
"Oh, all 50 seasons?", Manae asked in awe, to which the inventor shook her head quickly.
"50 seasons? The hell ya talking about, Spongebob ended after the second movie."
"Huh?", Manae aske surprised. "It did? Then...why did I see so many of those new episodes on TV....where Spongebob blew up people's houses?"
"Because that show is a fucking fake that's what.", the blonde muttered frustrated and wiped some sweat off her face. "No, seriously. That ain't my Spongebob. OG Spongebob is so much better."
"True....", Manae mumbled, before smiling widely. "Anyways, Manae was wondering if you were finished, with what I asked for?"
"What? The new mixpad?", Miu asked, a grin forming on her sweaty face. "Hell yeah."
She walked towards the corner of her lab and pointed at a box that had some buttons and some other technical mumbo jumbo on it. It had a dark purple design with some light blue lightning bolts and Manae gasped surprised.
"Woah! Manae can't believe how good it looks!", the DJ exclaimed with a wide mouth, as Miu couldn't help but laugh proudly.
"Course it fucking looks good. Ya asked the one and only Miu Iruma, to make this after all!", she said happily. "This baby has far more settings than the old shit at your lab. Plug it in and you'll have a fucking blast!"
"Yay! I can't wait to try it out!", Manae answered and was about to pick it up, when Miu stepped in front of him.
"Leave the lifting part to me."
"Huh? Are you sure? This...looks heavy.", the DJ replied confused, as Miu smirked.
"Yeah, so? I ain't weak."
She then pressed on a button on her uniform and suddenly, four robot arms sprouted out of her back. Manae flinched slightly for a brief moment, before his eyes widened.
"Woah! Miu looks like Dr. Octopussy!"
"It's Octopus! Not...Oc...Octopussy....", the blonde mumbled to herself, feeling herself blushing even further. She then shook her head, trying to get ahold of yourself. "Anyways, those arms can lift up to 5 cars ya know. So, I can easily lift shit like that up."
"Umm....Okay?", Manae asked concerned and watched, as the arms grabbed the device. "But umm.....can you really carry that?"
"Bitch, I already explained to ya that those robot arms, are the real fucking deal.", Miu answered annoyed and rolled her eyes, bending down in order to lift them up.
Which.....was harder than she thought.
Even though her robot arms had an easier time, to lift things that still didn't change the fact that Miu felt herself shaking. Her legs shook wildly and she gritted her teeth, as she tried to walk towards the exit, with Manae trailing behind her concerned....
....only to suddenly collapse and for the device to nearly hit the ground, had Manae not swooped in and caught it.
"Yay! Manae got it!", he cheered with a big smile, which fell when he noticed Miu lying on the ground. Smiling, he grabbed her arm and pulled her up quickly. "Is Miu dead?"
"I am fucking fine...Ouch...", Miu muttered to herself frustrated, gritting her teeth. "Shit...my back hurts.......Why the fuck, could I not carry that shit?"
"I mean.....for Manae, it makes sense.", the DJ replied with a shrug. "Like....sure, the arms are strong, but your shoulder muscles are not as strong, not to mention you are not physically fit in the slightest."
"Huh? Are ya calling me weak?"
"I mean.....Yes?", Manae asked sheepishly. "Like....you skip gym class all the time."
"Gym class is for pussies."
"But Miu has pussy, right?"
"That's-"
The inventor shook her head wildly and put her hands on her hips.
"Anyways, ya got what you wanted, k? Now scram!"
"Is Miu ok-"
"I am fucking fine.", she said and then turned around, to face her broken robotic arm set. Manae raised an eyebrow for a brief moment, before nodding.
"Okay! Take care, Miu!"
With that, he dashed out of the lab and the inventor was left behind, staring at her invention with a pensive expression.
Weak....huh?
She shook her head.
Guess she'd need to work on that invention a bit more.

KNOCK KNOCK
"Come in.", Kyoko Kirigiri, Vice Headmaster of Hope's Peak Academy said and glanced at the doorway, waiting for it to open.
It's been 30 years now, ever since Hope's Peak had been rebuilt and the detective wasn't sure of what to think. On one hand, she did miss her work as a detective, to find the truth and expose bad guys within society, in order to bring them to justice.
However......After the two Killing Games, Kyoko began to grow more of an distaste for dead bodies. You could only handle so much, after all.
Even if you happened to be the Apex Detective.
And besides, she couldn't really complain that much about her situation. Work was peaceful and relaxing, she had a loving fiance and the best co-workers she could ask for.
The Killing Game survivors, with whom she had grown closer over the years. Closer than with any of her other friends that she met during the cases.
Well, except HER and-
"Ma'am."
Kyoko looked up and blinked briefly, as she saw one of the students enter the classroom. Green short hair, a red suit, with a black shirt and a white cravat made it clear that this was none other than Reiji Miwa, Ultimate CEO.
"Ah, Reiji.", Kyoko greeted him with a cold look, albeit smiling. "Is something wrong?"
"Yes, Ma'am.", he replied, combing through his own hair. "See, I do have some concerns, regarding one of my classmates."
"Concerns? Of what kind?", Kyoko wondered and Reiji let out a sigh.
"Klaus Hinata. All of us have some special interest and yet his only interest seems to be...blowing bubbles.", he explained and the former detective raised an eyebrow.
"And why is that a concern?", she asked him and he rolled his eyes.
"Come on, Ma'am. Blowing bubbles? Really? This is Hope's Peak. We need the best of the best after all and not some kind of useless talent.", he explained and then crossed his arms. "Someone else should have his place. Someone with something more significant than blowing bubbles."
"Hm."
Kyoko stared at him with a calm expression and her brows furrowed a bit. Reiji stared back and yet, he seemed somewhat unnerved by her look. Even though he didn't get, why she seemed so irritated. He had a point though, didn't he?
What was so special about blowing bubbles?
And why did Hope's Peak accept losers like him?
"Your name is Reiji Miwa.", Kyoko said and he raised an eyebrow.
"Yeah, of course. Why are you pointing out the obvious?", he asked irritated. Kyoko closed her eyes.
"I've heard of that last name before. Your father went to Hope's Peak too, didn't he?", Kyoko asked, as she turned around and opened one of the drawers of the big wardrobe, before taking out a file that contained the name and photo of Reiji's father.
"Yeah, he did.", Reiji confirmed. "He was the Ultimate Business Man."
"Indeed.......", the former detective replied, her back turned to him. "He was part of the Future Foundation too, if I am not wrong. Worked under Division leader Kyosuke Munakata too. He was a good student, back at the original Hope's Peak Academy."
"Obviously.", Reiji replied somewhat haughty. "He was part of the elite. And he is unhappy to see, how this place turned out. From being a symbol of Hope, to become nothing more but a normal school for commoners. It is a sad state, really."
"A...symbol of Hope?", Kyoko asked slowly and twitched briefly, something that didn't escape Reiji's sight. But before he could say anything else, she turned to him.
"Hope's Peak was never a symbol of hope.", she began with a frown. "I am sure you're aware of The Tragedy?"
"Course. Junko Enoshima destroyed the academy and brainwashed everyone.", he replied, smirking slightly. "I am well aware of its history, Ma'am."
"Is that so?", Kyoko asked him curiously, before shaking her head. "Well....that's not the whole story. The reason Hope's Peak fell to begin with, was because of the academy's fundamental issues."
She walked to her seat and stared down at it.
"Hope's Peak did accept non-ultimates. But only if they paid accordingly.", she continued with a frown. "The Reserve Course Students suffered a lot, under this. They were bullied and abused for their lower status by other Ultimate figures and this in turn, made it easy for Junko to manipulate them."
She looked back up again and gave him a glare.
"Junko used the suffering and despair of the Reserve Course, in order to build herself an army, one that would help her destroy the Academy and for what it all stood for. Sure she did brainwash them, but because they were already in despair, it was a lot easier for her."
Reiji frowned, as Kyoko walked up to him.
"When we rebuilt the academy, Makoto abolished the talent system for a reason. It was too social-darwinistic and it didn't teach their students, to see themselves more than just tools. So they could grow too in other areas. A talent alone does not determine one's own personality, you know."
"I-"
"That's why we decided to turn Hope's Peak into a school for everyone. Where the common people can unlock their true potential. Even if they start out small, they can grow. Everyone can. Social Status and overall abilities do not play an important role in this."
She then approached him further and then glanced down at him with a cold look.
"So Reiji, please cut it out with your complaining. I was told by Minuki and Kijo that you and Rui made fun of him. Correct?"
"Well-"
"I am going to give you your first and final warning.", Kyoko interrupted him with a glare. "Stop your harassment and overthink your elitistic mindset or else, we may reconsider your place here."
"Wh...What? You can't-"
He gulped, as he felt Kyoko's icy glare on him. Gritting his teeth, he groaned in defeat.
"Alright.....Ma'am...I'll stop."
"Good. And so will Rui Kisigirai. Now please leave. This conversation is over.", she answered and Reiji quietly turned around and walked towards the exit, before closing the door behind him. Kyoko rubbed her forehead and then sat down.
She was getting too old for this.........

Chapter 13: Manae and Keebo- Robuddies
Notes:
Another fic by Jubi. Have fun!
Chapter Text
“As I go down with the speed of lightning!”
The noise was screaming throughout the dorm, besides the soundproof walls. Thank God they were mostly abandoned at the moment.
Manae was working on his next fire CD, inspired by the work of his mother. It was hard metal meets hip-hop with a touch-up of techno. Manae decided to work through the afternoon while everybody went to town. It was the only time his peers wouldn’t complain about the noise.
Manae had his room pimped up with neon purple lights and light-green glow-in-the-dark paint that he discovered in the storage. He also had placed flame-projectors with marshmallows on top. He had his fire alert turned off. In the middle, he had his giant DJ-station with enormous speakers.
“Yeah yeah! I’ve got you hooked! You’ll all in…”
“Please stop!”
Manae turned the volume down a bunch. “Damnit,” he thought, “I thought the dorms was empty…”
“So, you finally saw me. I’m not that invisible, right?”, the voice of the speaker came from the door. Keebo was standing there, looking disturbed.
“Ah. Sorry, Kee-boy! Manae didn’t hear you!”, Manae said a bit embarrassed.
“You clearly didn’t see me either…”, Keebo scoffed. “I was waving like crazy trying to get you to tune it down! Also, don’t call me that…”
“Not call you what?”, Manae said confused.
“Don’t call me Kee-boy.”, Keebo said a bit calmer. He seemed to be way less on edge than before.
“Why not? Manae loves giving his friends nicknames!”, Manae said with an innocent smile.
“F-friend?”, Keebo said while turning all red, “We’re f-friends?”
“Of course you are, silly!”, Manae said with a wide smile, “Us metalheads need to stick together!”
“Was that a joke?”, Keebo said confused.
“But why not call you that?”, Manae asked with interest in his voice.
“That’s what Kokichi calls me… I don’t like it very much…”, Keebo said, trying to hide his face a bit.
“Kokichi? But he’s so funny!”, Manae said with a confused smile. He couldn’t imagine Kokichi being disliked by Keebo.
“Kokichi always makes fun of me being a robot… And he keeps pranking me…”, Keebo said, clearly both annoyed and embarrassed to talk about it.
Manae’s expression changed. His smile faded and like in an instant, he started looking sad. “No no no! That is so mean! Why would Kokichi do such mean things?”
Keebo looked surprised that Manae changed so drastically. “Wait, are you crying?”
Manae noticed and looked up embarrassed. “Manae is not crying… Manae was leaking water…” Manae wiped his eyes and looked scarily serious. “This won’t do. Kokichi needs to stop doing this.”
Manae walked to his closet and started digging through drawers. Shortly after, he picked up a headphone with a USB stick.
“Mew-mew made this, so I can listen to my mixtapes files without disturbing anyone.”, Manae said, still looking uncharacteristically serious.
“What are you gonna do with that?”, Keebo asked confused.
“Metal-hair will put the headphones on Kokichi’s ears at night. Then press the button. Kokichi will then stop pranking you!”, Manae said full cunning.
“M-metal-hair? Hmm, I don’t mind that name I guess…”, Keebo said a bit in thought. Then he looked up with a smile. “Ah! That’s what you mean! You think this will give Kokichi a taste of his own medicine! By pranking him too!”
Manae started smiling again. “Yupyup! And then Metal-hair will be happy again!”
Later in the night, Keebo got his first ever detention. But Kokichi kept from bullying Keebo for quite a while.

Chapter Text
“Come on Kaede, it will be fun!”, Kaito exclaimed with a smile, as he walked down the hallway, following a certain blonde pianist. With a heavy sigh, Kaede turned to him and crossed her arms.
“Gee....How many times, do I need to tell you that? I don’t have time, to join your evening training.”
“Ah come on! Training is good, for the body and soul!”, the astronaut protested irritated. “Don’t you wanna get strong?”
“Kaito...”, Kaede answered with a sigh and shook her head, trying her hardest to maintain her smile. Which was shaking heavily, by the way. “Look, I appreciate the offer, but I am too busy practicing for my upcoming concert in Belarus. For that, I need time. Not to mention that I don’t want to hurt my fingers or else the piano won’t like it.”
“The piano isn’t even alive!”, the astronaut replied and groaned irritated, rubbing his neck with air leaving his nose drills. Kaede’s look softened and she looked away guiltily.
“Please don’t get this the wrong way, Kaito. It’s not like I don’t like hanging out with you, but....I simply don’t have too much time for that. I need to prepare for several concerts and I need to be in top form. How else can I make my audience smile, if I am not feeling well?”
“I mean...urgh!”
The astronaut looked up and gave her a serious look, crossing his arms.
“You want me to leave you alone, when you are not feeling well?”, he asked her and Kaede’s smile dropped and she glared at him.
“What is this? I told Shuichi already, I am fi--”
“Wrong.”, Kaito said and shook his head. “The last days you not only came late to class, dead tired and you also seem far more irritable than usual.”
“What? That’s not true!”, the blonde shot back and gave the astronaut an annoyed stare.
“Really? Then why did you snap at Shuichi, when he asked you if you were okay?”, he shot back at her and the pianist gritted her teeth, before looking onto the ground guiltily.
A few moments ago
“Okay....I gotta hurry, to practice Fuer Elise and then Vivaldi’s four seasons.....”, the pianist muttered to herself, stuffing her bag with book after book. Her concert was in a few days and she needed to perfect her play.
It wasn’t enough, for it to be good. It had to be great.
Otherwise, the others won’t smile and-
“Hey......Kaede.”
Kaede recognised the voice and heard a certain detective approaching her. With a worried look, he tapped her back.
“Are you...okay?”
Kaede ignored his words and her body shook irritated, causing Shuichi to frown concerned.
“Kaede...”
“I said I am FINE, Saihara..”, Kaede answered, putting more emphasis on the last part. Shuichi flinched surprised, his friend’s irritation hitting him the wrong way.
“Hey, Kaediot!”
Kaede’s eye twitched irritated, when a certain potty mouth approached her.
“I slept through the lesson. Can I take a fucking look at your notes, so I can copy them-”
“SHUT UP YOU COW!”, Kaede snapped annoyed and glared at the inventor. “ASK SOMEONE ELSE OKAY!?”
Miu screamed horrified and stumbled backwards surprised, as the other classmates stared at the pianist perplexed and confused. All of them remained silent, as the blonde breathed heavily in and out, with some students even noticing imaginary smoke coming out of her head. Gritting her teeth, Kaede got up and and rushed out of her room.
As Kaito watched after her with a glare and followed her.
“She was getting annoying.”, the pianist muttered quietly, after Kaito reminded her of how she made Miu cry.
“What? All she asked you, was if she could take a look at your notes. She didn’t even make any gross remark, you know!”
The astronaut unfolded his arms and his facial features visibly relaxed, concern rushing over his face.
“Look...sorry if I am sounding forceful. But it’s clear you are stressed out and I ain’t gonna let you drown in that shit. That’s why, I want you to join this training session. Training has tons of benefits, apart from looking hot. It reduces stress and also increases the blood flow in your body and relaxes you.”
He approached her further, moving to the locker.
“Kaede...I just wanna help you. You helped Shuichi come out of his shell and therefore, I wanna return the favour. Because you are always so kind, to all of us.”
The pianist glanced down and didn’t say anything, simply taking in the noises. An open window showed a dim-lit afternoon, the sun setting closely in the distance and wind blowing gently behind the leaves.
She closed her eyes.....
.......Maybe, she had been overworking herself..............
.....................
“Alr...Alright...”, Kaede finally answered and nodded. “I’ll...train with you....”
“Come on, you gotta- Wait, did you just say yes?”, Kaito asked bewildered and stepped back, causing the blonde to giggle.
“I mean, yeah. What? Did you expect for me to not back down?”, she asked jokingly and shook her head amused. “I am not that hot-headed.”
“I...I see.....Well then!”
Kaito grinned happily.
“Then it’s settled! Training starts in two hours in the gym! Make sure, to bring your exercise clothes and tons of water. Me and my other sidekicks are waiting for you!”
“I’ll keep that in mind. Thanks Kaito.”, Kaede said with a smile. “Thanks...a lot.”
“Your welcome! See ya later!”, Kaito exclaimed and then walked off, leaving the pianist behind. Her smile faltered for a brief moment, as she remembered how unfair she had been towards Miu and Shuichi.
She definitely needed to apologise to them and-
Wait.
Did Kaito say “Sidekicks”? In plural form?
....Eh. He must have likely meant Maki and Shuichi.
“I should go find Miu and Shuichi, to apologise.”, Kaede said to herself and then turned around, in order to head to Miu’s lab first and then to Shuichi’s.

Chapter 15: Minuki and Shinji- Hobbies
Chapter by Izumeno

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
“Gee, you are still working on that novel of yours?”, Shinji asked, as he peeked from behind onto Minuki’s PC in the cafeteria. They were on break right now, as drama classes would commence in a few hours and the redhead was considering, hanging out with Kokichi and getting some Panta from the fridge.
But then, he noticed Minuki sitting all alone at the desk. Working on the computer and typing her words out, with rapid taste. Her eyes had a sharp focus and it almost seemed like she was in some sort of trance state. Even though Shinji knew that she was hearing him.
“You know, we have classes in a few hours.”, he pointed out. “Shouldn’t you do something more relaxing?”
“This is relaxing.”, Minuki replied, not turning around. “Now can you leave me alone? I need to finish this first draft. It’s been keeping me busy for weeks.”
“For weeks? Geez, you really are a workaholic.”, Shinji realised and grinned slightly. “Must come from your parents, eh?”
Minuki stopped typing.
For a brief moment.
And then, she continued like that short break never happened.
“Only like father I suppose. My mother, is anything but a worker.”, she explained to him. “Most of the time, she just eats tons of food, clogs the toilet or just forces me and dad to take care of the house.”
“So she’s a slob?”
“Hm. When it comes to that, sure. But she has a much more avid fighter. Even was able to beat dad a few times.”, Minuki mused and shook her head. “Those two have so much energy...something that I could never muster.”
“And why is that?”, Shinji asked curiously, with a raised eyebrow.
“Because, I am horrible at physical activity. Why else do you think that I sneak out of gym class, with you and Rui?”
“I thought it was, because you need friends.”, Shinji replied with a grin and glanced at her curiously.
“What is that supposed to mean?”, Minuki asked carefully and the redhead shrugged.
“You know damn well, what I mean. After all, you usually are alone. Well, except when ya hang out with those three other kids I guess.”
“If you know that, then why say that I have no friends? You are pretty rude.”, Minuki answered and rolled her eyes. “Is this conversation going anywhere?”
“Okay, geez.”, Shinji commented and let out a sigh. “Well.....then. Guess I’ll leave you be.”
“Indeed.”
“And I guess, I’ll eat with Rui at the fast-food place downtown alone and-”
Suddenly, Minuki quickly stood up and turned to him. Her face remained as stoic as ever, but her eyes were full of life and she put the laptop into her bag.
“Oh, so now you’re coming?”, Shinji teased with a smirk and Minuki adjusted her glasses.
“Quiet, Shinji. It’s just that I haven’t eaten anything today.”
“Suuureee...”, the redhead answered with a grin. “Well then. Let’s leave then.”

Chapter 16: Kirumi and Klaus- Request
Chapter by Izumeno

Chapter Text
“May I help you?”, Kirumi asked, as she stared at the one, in front of her lab. She had just finished a few other requests and had settled down in her lab, in order to do her make-up and clean her hair. After all, who’d want a maid that smelled like a disgusting prostitute?
No one that’s for sure.
And yet, she never expected anyone to ask her for help this quickly again. Not to mention the fact that the one who asked for help was......
“Hello Kirumi.”, Klaus greeted her with a sigh. “Can I...talk?”
“Certainly.”, the maid noted and nodded, stepping aside and allowing the young man to enter her lab. Klaus nodded and followed inside, glancing at the Victorian architecture with a curious expression.
“This room feels like, I am stepping into another time period.”
“Indeed it does.”, Kirumi agreed and smiled slightly. “I must admit, I have a particular attraction towards the Victorian era. It feels as if, it’s a time that was much more civil than today.”
“Even though poverty and violence were much higher back then?”, Klaus wondered and the maid chuckled.
“I suppose that is true. Now then.”
She closed the door behind her and crossed her arms.
“Is there anything, you need help with?”
“Well.......”, Klaus mumbled, glancing away. “Okay....maybe I should just-”
“Come now.”, the maid interrupted him calmly. “You approached me for help, no? You do not need to have cold feet, when I am around.”
“I mean...I guess? But...you know, you have probably a lot to do too and-”
“Wrong.”, Kirumi answered and shook her head. “I do not have anything to do. So please, tell me what is bothering you.”
Klaus frowned and let out a frustrated and exasperated sigh, turning towards the window of the lab and approaching it slowly.
“Say....do you ever feel...amiss?”
“Amiss, you say?”, Kirumi wondered and tilted her head. “I do not understand your question.”
“Well...like, you shouldn’t be here.....”, he clarified and adjusted his necklace. “Like...all of you here have amazing talents. Including my friends. Manae produces great music, Minuki writes one great novel after another, Kijo has the best handwriting in the world and....well. There’s me. The guy who can only blow bubbles and nothing else.”
Frustrated, he glanced downwards to the courtyard, watching Yashuga and Adeku chatting with each other and he felt a sense of envy rushing into his blood.
“It’s just....I really think, I shouldn’t be here.”, he said and tightened his fist. “All of you are so amazing and....I am not.”
“You are being way too harsh, to yourself.”, Kirumi said behind him and approached the redhead. “I understand you may feel less significant, but believe me. You have a place here.”
“You are just saying that, to be nice.”, Klaus mumbled depressed and gritted his teeth. “Maybe-”
But suddenly, he felt two hands grabbing his shoulders tightly. Surprised, he gasped and found himself face to face with Kirumi, who was giving her a cold stare. It was only now that he realised, how tall the maid actually was and even though her limbs were rather thin, he could still feel tons of strength inside them.
He couldn’t help but feel terrified, as he stared into her cold gray eyes, while the maid began to move her lips and tell him something he needed to hear.
“Listen up. Whining and complaining about your situation will not help you, in the long run.”, she told him sternly. “I understand that you are feeling inferior to us, but remember. This school is for everyone. Not just for the elite like in the past. Therefore, you shouldn’t complain.”
“But-”
“If you really however desire to make something out of yourself, I will assist you. You are free to not make this request, but I have a feeling that you do not know, how to proceed?”
Her eyes darkened.
“Am I wrong?”
Klaus frowned and glanced away ashamed.
“I....you are right....”, he mumbled saddened and gritting his teeth. “I....just thought that...since you are so good at everything that...you could help me......To feel like, I am worth something. And not just a whiny crybaby.”
Upon hearing this, Kirumi lessened her grip, much to Klaus’ surprise and he turned to her, as she gave him an apologetic look.
“I am sorry for my rude language just now. I did not mean to insult you.”, she told him and shook her head. “I will help you out, do not worry in that regard.”
“Y..You will? Wh..what do I need to pa-”
“I do not want money. Klaus.”, she interrupted him and shook her head. “I live to help others. I am not doing this for any monetary gain. Please re-”
But all of sudden, the maid’s eyes widened, when Klaus suddenly pulled her into a hug.
“Thank you...thank you so much...you...have no idea, how much this means to me..”
“It....is of no concern...”, the maid muttered surprised and then hugged him back slightly. They shared this embrace for a bit, before Klaus pulled away and rubbed his head with an awkward smile.
“So....how do we proceed?”
“Meet me in the afternoon tomorrow.”; she explained to him. “You will see what we will do, once you are there. Will you visit me?”
“I...definitely!”, Klaus exclaimed with a big goofy smile that was contagious enough, to make the maid smile too.
“Very well. I shall look forward to it then.”

Chapter Text
“Hey man!”, Kaito shouted across the dojo and the blue haired fighter stopped kicking the training dummy, before turning around and facing the Ultimate Astronaut himself. Surprised, the martial artist adjusted his glasses and gulped.
“Oh....you are....”
“Kaito Momota! Luminary of the stars!”, the classmate exclaimed with vigor and bravery, giving him a thumbs-up. “Gotta say, you did pretty well against Tenko. You really whooped her ass.”
“Don’t use such language please....but thank you.”, Yashuga said with a bow, as the astronaut gave him a thumbs-up pose.
“Your welcome, man! But say....been wondering something.”, he suddenly asked, his tone dropping a bit. Yashuga gasped and adjusted his dark blue kimono.
“What...is it?”
“I never see ya train in the gym.”, the astronaut replied and shrugged curiously. “Ya are not into training?”
“Oh...I.....”
Yashuga gulped nervously, before tugging his arm.
“I.....I am just....you know, preffering non-traditional exercises.”
“Non-traditional?”, Kaito asked and raised an eyebrow. “What’s not traditional, about lifting weights? Even the greeks did that.”
“Yes, but....See, it is rather limiting.”, the martial artist explained to him. “I...prefer to train in my lab, because...it is more suited to my needs....”
“Hm...I see.”, Kaito mumbled, scratching his hair thoughtful. “So...um...who taught you how to fight like that, by the way?”
“H...Huh?”
“Hm?”, Kaito asked and chuckled slightly. “Man, you are pretty jumpy. Come on, men shouldn’t be all scared. Besides, we’re both bros. No need to be nervous around me.”
He adjusted his jacket a bit, before tilting his head.
“But those movements...Woah. Like, Tenko is far less fluid and all, while Kenta is more fluid and yet much weaker. However, you have both the strength and skill to back it up. Guess that’s the reason you are the Ultimate Martial Artist, aren’t you?”
“I...I wouldn’t put it like that....”, Yashuga mumbled shyly and fiddled with his hands all flusted. “But....thanks.”
“Your welcome, man!”, the astronaut told him and cracked a smile. “Say, why don’t ya join our little training session in the evening?”
“Training session? I..told you that I won’t use the gy-”
“Nah, not the gym. Outdoors.”, he clarified nonchalantly. “Shuichi and I train there every night and I thought we could use a few more people. And since you are so strong, I thought I’d ask you.”
“Well....that’s nice of you, but....Tenko could probably-”
“Yeah that’s the thing. I did initially want to ask her, but she was pissed that Kokichi dyed her hair purple and was all violent. So......I decided to avoid her.”
“You...are afraid of getting hurt by a girl?”, Yashuga asked with a slight smile, causing the astronaut to pout offended.
“Sh..shut up! I am not afraid of fighting some girls! A man can beat anyone!”, he exclaimed determined, causing Yashuga to walk backwards nervously.
“Can you...not shout so much?”
“Huh?”, Kaito asked surprised and tilted his head. “I wasn’t shouting though, ya know. But geez, you seem pretty anxious eh?”
“I.....I suppose I am.”
“Weird...why are ya so nervous?”, the astronaut wondered. “I mean...during fights, you are all cool and confident. But outside the ring, you seem to have a certain degree of weakness....Hm...”
Suddenly, his eyes lightened up and he crossed his arms.
“Say, Yash.”
“Y..Yash?”
“My new nickname for ya.”, he clarified with a grin. “Say....who’s your enemy?”
“M...My...enemy?”, Yashuga repeated and glanced away. “I...suppose I have a few rivals and-”
“No, not those. I mean your personal enemy. The one that’s holding ya back.”, Kaito interrupted him and frowned. “Look....you have that same look as Shuichi did, when he first arrived here. Insecure of himself, in spite of being so frickin talented. I couldn’t just see him not unlock his true potential, which is why I asked him to train with me. And thanks to that, his confidence rose.”
“I...I see...”, the martial artist mumbled and scratched his head. “I...I am not sure...”
“Don’t worry, man. You have a lot of time left.”, Kaito replied and then turned around with a smile. “Welp, gotta run. See ya later.”
With that, he opened the door to the dojo and closed it behind him, walking out of the dojo nonchalantly. Yashuga waved after him and upon trying to turn around and face the practice dummy again, he heard his master behind him.
“Yashuga.”, she said and the prodigy gasped, as he turned around and stared at the blue aura form in front of him.
“Sensei!”, he exclaimed and bowed down. “I...I am sorry about...anything I did wrong.”
“You didn’t do anything wrong.”, the spirit told him and shook her head. “Yashuga, you are still afraid. I taught you so much already and yet, there’s still that weakness of yours. One that you can’t run away from, forever.”
“But....I...I can’t face it, Sensei...”; he mumbled and glanced down ashamed. “If...if they figure it out then....they will mock me..I am sure of it.”
“Yashuga, my boy. Please look at me.”
Hesitantly, the martial artist glanced up to his mentor and gulped, when he felt that blue vibrating hand of hers on his shoulder. He was beginning to calm down.
“Listen. It is alright, to be afraid. Fear is a natural feeling and even I had it, in my youth. Whenever I doubted my own strength or if I could really do it....I.....felt scared. Especially, since I was a woman and grew up with tons of other men. But...I pushed through. If you do not face your fear, it will be even stronger and stronger.”
“I...I am aware....but......god....I just...feel still so ashamed off myself. And my body.”, the martial artist mumbled, turning around. “Every time I shower...I have to look at my form....So soft.....and so.....petite.....and my voice...even with all the practice, I still feel like, I am not who I want to be and-”
“Yashuga, my boy.”, the mentor interrupted him yet again, leaning forward and suddenly wrapping her glowing arms around his waist. “Your body, does not need to reflect your true self. You know what you are deep down and I know for sure that the more you work on yourself, the more you will be content with your life. As long as you face your fears.”
Feeling their glowing energy inside him, his fears began to subside and he nodded.
“Okay...I...I will join them...and..do my best..”
“Good. I believe in you, my boy.”, the spirit told him, as it waned away. “Drink some tea and remember to breathe. See you tomorrow.”
And with that, she was gone. And Yashuga adjusted his glasses, before nodding.
“I understand...Ogami-Sensei.”

Klaus and Kirumi
“Kirumi?”, , Klaus wondered, as he knocked on the door. It didn’t take long for the maid to respond and open the door swiftly. With a graceful smile, she closed her eyes.
“Klaus, I am glad that you are here.”, she greeted him formally. “I am glad, you showed up.”
“Well, why wouldn’t I?”, the redhead asked her and tilted his head. “I said, I was gonna come. Right?”
“Indeed.”, the maid agreed and opened her eyes again, giving him a firm look, her smile fading. “Yet, just because you say that you are going to do something does not mean that you’ll actually go through with it. Right? You can say a lot....and yet, actions speak louder than words.”
Her features relaxed, as she smiled again.
“But I am glad that you took action. This will make things so much easier for you.”
“Thanks...”, Klaus muttered sheepishly and tilted his head curiously. “So....what do we do today?”
“Ah, of course. Come in.”, the maid told him and stepped aside, allowing him entry. The redhead stepped inside and the maid closed the door behind her, as he glanced forward onto the desk.
There.....was a piece of paper and...a pencil?
“What’s this?”, Klaus asked his classmate, while Kirumi walked past him.
“In order to find your talent, we need to first find your strengths.”, she began to explain. “For this, I prepared this small quiz, in order to test your cognitive abilities. Depending on the results, it will show me how to best to serve you.”
“Thanks...”, Klaus mumbled taken aback. “But...don’t say, you’ll serve me.”
“Hm?”
Kirumi gave him a puzzled look.
“And why not? After all, I am a maid.”
“Yeah, but...you aren’t a slave.”, Klaus pointed out and shook his head. “You are helping me. Not serving me.”
“Hm.”
The maid turned away from him.
“Let’s agree to disagree, then.”, she said to him firmly and then pulled the chair forward. “Now then...please sit down.”
With a swift motion, Klaus did as the maid said and sat down. He glanced at the worksheet curiously. It seemed to be flipped onto the other side, but when the redhead tried to lift the paper, Kirumi’s words stopped him.
“Before I begin, let me first explain the procedure. You have 10 minutes, to answer all the questions. Make sure to read them carefully and to not rush ahead. Alright?”
“Alright, let’s do it.”, Klaus told her and then flipped the sheet on the other side, the maid frowning briefly. Then she nodded and took out a pocket watch, turning it on.
The clock began to tick.
Klaus glanced at the first question.
1: How many shapes does an octagon have?
“Tch, way too easy.”, Klaus noted with a grin. “An octagon has 8 sides. What kind of idiot, wouldn’t know that?”
He wrote down the answer quickly and then moved to the next question.
2: Where does the saying: “Nice Job Breaking It Hero” originate?”
“Hmm...Wait, I think I know that one too.”, the redhead quickly realised and wrote down the answer. “It comes from that game, where you shoot portals!”
The remaining questions all varied from pop-culture topics, to basic knowledge, to geographical topics, to a few math equations. Klaus wrote down the answers quickly and after a few minutes, he turned to the maid with a confident smirk.
“I am finished.”
“Are you now?”, Kirumi asked rhetorically, taking a look at the pocket watch. “You still have 6 minutes left. Are you sure that you-”
“Yeah, yeah.”, the redhead interrupted her and gave her the sheet. Nodding, the maid stopped the timer and took a look at the worksheet for a bit. With anticipation, Klaus waited for the maid to tell him that he aced the test.
However...
“The maximum amount of points is 40.”, she told him and then frowned. “And you got 19.”
“H..Huh?!”, Klaus exclaimed bewildered and glared at her. “Wh...What? But..I knew all the answers!”
“Yes....and no.”, the maid answered and put the sheet onto the table, pointing at the questions. “Sure, you were not wrong...but too inaccurate. When I asked, where 9/11 happened, you wrote NY.”
“Well, yeah. So?”
“You were supposed to write, New York. Not NY.”
“..Are you ki...kidding me?”, Klaus asked irritated, the maid remaining unfazed and turning another page.
“Also, at question two you wrote: Portal shooting game. You were supposed to write the name of the game.”
“I-”
Klaus gritted his teeth frustrated, tightening his fist and staring onto the table, while the maid picked the sheet up and shook her head.
“Well then. That will be all for today.”
“H..Huh?!”, the redhead exclaimed and turned to her pissed off and irritated. “How the hell, is that it? You said you were gonna help me!”
“And I will. But right now, I’ve seen enough. I now know, how to best work with you.”
“Tch..as if.”
Klaus got up and walked towards the door.
“You don’t seem to have faith in me, right? You think I am just some dumb idiot, who can’t do anything right.”, he mumbled with self-disdain, approaching the door. He grabbed the handle and-”
“Wrong.”
The redhead stopped in his tracks and turned to the maid, who shook her head and gave him a firm look, with a hint of softness in her eyes.
“Klaus, you are not an idiot.”
“H...Huh?”, he hummed and grew more and more confused. “But....I flopped the test.”
“Indeed. But it’s not because you are unintelligent, like a certain blonde prostitute.”, she told him and shook her head. “You did know the answers to some of the questions. But the problem is that you are too impatient and reckless. It’s not your intelligence that’s lacking. It is your patience.”
Adjusting her gloves, the maid approached him and smiled at him warmly.
“You have a lot of energy, within you. And although such energy use can be reckless, it also is admirable. In dangerous situations, I would not be surprised if you were to act and to help others. Not to mention that Minuki speaks highly of you.”
“M...Minuki?”, Klaus asked surprised, as the maid nodded.
“Yes. I do help her out with her novels, a few times. And when we conversed, she told me how you are caring and determined.”
“D...did she now?”, the redhead mumbled flustered.
“She did.”, Kirumi confirmed and smiled. “So do not lose sight of yourself. You have a lot of potential in you, Klaus. And we will find out what that is, exactly.”
“R..really?”
“Really.”, Kirumi said and slowly turned around. “You are dismissed. Please come here again tomorrow, at the same time.”
“I..I will.”, the redhead answered and nodded, smiling slightly. “Thanks...Kirumi. See you tomorrow.”
With that, he opened the door and closed the door behind him, as the maid smiled to herself.
He really reminded her, of herself.
....when she pay off her debt.

“Hope’s Peak Academy, section talent development. Archivist Seina Kyotara.”
“Byakuya Togami, with a vocal report.”
Byakuya Togami signed. This was for sure one of the worst parts of the job. Like teaching a bunch of ignorant children wasn’t bad enough, he also had to take notes and report them to talent development. And now that he was pushed into a project, things got even worse. He had to pay extra attention for even smaller details. Well, at least the person who he had to talk to for documentation was…
“Are you ready to report, sir?”, the friendly voice of Seina Kyotara came from the phone.
“Do you got a minute, miss Kyotara?”, Byakuya asked, “What is the status on my request for a detailed observer in my classroom?”
“There is been a setback, Mr. Togami.”, miss Kyotara said with a slightly concerned tone, “On the returned form from the ministry of education, the approval of correction 46-B, involving how the detailed observer would not violate privacy laws, was missing.”
“Missing?”, Byakuya turned frustrated, “So the correction has not been accepted or has not been inspected?”
“Hmm… Hope’s Peak Academy has not yet received a definitive answer when clarification was requested…”, Seina said slowly.
“Unbelievable… The ministry of education should know by now that talent development is a risky project! Especially when you take into account what happened at the previous establishment! And even the slightest mishap could have terrible consequences for the academy! This specific project especially requires the most accurate observation. To have all this pushed on one man alone is just…”
Byakuya signed again and took a sip of water. All this ranting made him thirsty. He knew he shouldn’t rant like that. Especially to her…
“Mr. Togami,” miss Kyotara said carefully, “If I may. When you did the same project in my class, you had no such problem. With all due respect, may it be possible that your qualities as a teacher have perhaps decreased?”
Byakuya swallowed nervously. He was afraid of this question. He had considered the possibility. He has done a project like this before. Without issue at that. And yet…
“Possibly, but I think it may have to do with my current class.”, Byakuya said, “Many of the current students have talents assigned to them that they didn’t know they had in the first place. Many of said students are barely working on their assigned talent. And besides, I highly doubt that some of those assigned talents are deserved in the first place…”
“Do you think the HPA scouting division has made a mistake?”, Seina asked curiously.
“Perhaps… Hmm… Miss Kyotara, could you maybe find me some information to work with from the scouting report?”, Byakuya asked.
“Certainly, Mr. Togami.”, the friendly voice answered.
“Good good. This is all confidential of course. But as for now, I’m ready to report.” Byakuya said, straightening his jacket.
“Go ahead, sir.”, miss Kyotara answered.
“Byakuya Togami, Economics Teacher, Hope’s Peak Academy.
Subject: Talent Development. Project 32-B. Log 1.
The classes have currently been informed of the project, to which the responses were varied.
Project 32-B will be concerning the talent development of class 79-B, with me as it’s assigned overseer.
In this report, I will note observations made about the first 8 student to note in regards to behavioral change after the announcement of the project.
The student Plasma was rather unphased by the announcement. While at the academy, he has not been working on his talent as the ultimate make-up artist, and this has not changed since the announcement.
Shinji Meishin’s reaction has also not influenced his general attitude. But unlike the previous example, he does seem to work on his talent as the ultimate hacker. Still, it’s hard to make a definitive conclusion whether it’s a result of the announcement or not.
Myadera Shinguji does seem to have reacted with a desire for talent development on her title as ultimate philosopher. Although her addiction of needing near-constant sexual stimulation is significantly hindering her progress so far. If this hinderance continues, an appointment with counselor Kumagai is highly recommended.
Kenta Ochisuita as the ultimate monk is difficult to fully observe in regards to progress, since his talent is more in regards to a specific mindset and inner growth. Perhaps contact with his previous master is to be considered.
Adeku Tsunemori has been a most difficult subject. While his desire to develop his talent is undeniable, the cost reports for all the materials, equipment and rooms that got destroyed in the progress of his tinkering talent, make it hard to justify continuing his talent development.
Klaus Hinata seems to experience the same issue as many of his peers and superiors. Considering he was scouted without any clear indication of what his ultimate talent is, is hindering for his mental state and talent development. Based on early-on observation, the only thing he seems to be good at is making bubble art, which neither him nor his peers see as an ultimate talent worth pursuing. Reminder to ask Mr. Hagakure what he saw in that boy.
Manae Souda seems to prefer his development as the ultimate DJ mostly outside of academy hours, which is bad for observational reasons and even worse for the ears of his peers trying to sleep.
Kijo Tanaka as the ultimate calligrapher seems one of the few students who has not caused any sort of issues in regards to her talent development. Her working on her talent has increased since the announcement, but not to a level of her becoming sloppy or detached from school and social activity.
Further student notes will be published after further observation.
The next report has been scheduled for tomorrow at the same time.

Chapter 20: Miu and Tenko: Nicknames
Chapter by Izumeno

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
“Yo Tenkcrotch!”, Miu shouted at the aikido master, who was currently at her locker and packing up her stuff. Confused, the martial artist turned to her an tilted her head surprised, albeit frowning.
“Oh......hey Miu. What’s up?”, she asked with a grimace, as the inventor glared at her annoyed.
“Why the hell ya making that face, bitch? Ain’t you happy to see me?”
“It’s not that at all!”, Tenko protested and just shook her head. “It’s just...can you please stop calling me Tencrotch please?”
“Huh?”, Miu asked bewildered and tilted her head. “Why the hell not? It’s a fun nickname.”
“How is an insult a fun nickname?”, Tenko replied annoyed and shook her head. “Come on, Miu. Can you please give me another nickname? Something that’s less degenerate?”
“Tch, are ya telling me what to do or what?”, the inventor answered offended and crossed her arms. “I ain’t gonna back the fuck down, just because you’re a little snowflake. Okay? She-male?”
With her icy blue eyes, she stared at her classmate and then began to gulp, as Tenko crossed her arms and glared at her angrily.
“What...did you just call me?”
“I...Umm.....”, the inventor mumbled terrified and walked back intimidated. Tenko was outmatching her in height and muscles and to see the normally cheerful girl glaring at her like that, was pretty intimidating. The aikido master noticed Miu’s fear and she closed her eyes.
“Hm. That’s what I thought. You can talk big, but there’s no action. Like that of a typical degenerate.”, she noted bitterly and turned around. “Do not speak with me-”
“Wait, okay!”, Miu blurted out and fidgetted with her fingers. “F..Fine...okay? I’ll..give you a new nickname......Okay? Ju...Just don’t walk away.”
Miu never thought that she’d need to beg to anyone, in her entire life. But this was Tenko Chabashira, SHSL Girl-lover and probably the most patient out of her classmates. The rest eh.......
Himiko constantly glared at Miu annoyed.
Kaede lectured her, whenever she pointed out that her chest was smaller than the inventor’s.
Tsumugi snapped at her, whenever Miu joked that anime was 99% porn.
Angie...well- Nevermind.
Maki just starred daggers at her.
And Kirumi was just one massive bitch.
Tenko was the only one out of the girls, she could put up with. And Miu was not willing to just lose her friendship, over something so stupid like a nickname.
Ahem.
“You...you will give me a new nickname?”, Tenko asked surprised and raised an eyebrow. “One that’s not as insulting, as the ones you give me?”
“Y..Yeah!”, the blonde confirmed and nodded, her grin slowly forming. “Don’t forget- I am a genius. I have so many fucking ideas in my head and names that ya will like a lot more.”
“R..Really?”
Tenko glanced at her skeptically, before nodding.
“Okay...what nickname then?”
“Miss Andry!”
“.............................”
The martial artist’s eye twitched and Miu quickly spoke up.
“Okay...H..How bout.....Wai-Fu!”
“I teach Neo-Aikido, not Kung Fu.”
“Then......Chabien!”
“What’s that supposed to refer to?”
“Like..Lesbian!”
“...................”
“Ahem.....okay, you don’t like that one either.”, Miu noted to herself and glanced away. “Don’t worry....I have a few more.”
98 nicknames later
“Gwen Ten!”
“That’s a cartoon character!”, Tenko snapped and then shook her head. “You know what? I have enough. If you aren’t taking this seriously, then I’ll-”
“Not so fucking fast!”, Miu interrupted her quickly. “I ain’t done yet! I.....have many more names!”
“And they’re all as insulting, as the other ones.”, the martial artist noted and rolled her eyes. “Miu, I have had enough, okay? I’ll just-”
“N..No!”
Miu quickly grabbed Tenko’s arm and stared at her pleadingly.
“I...I have only...one more nickname...P...Please...give me...one last chance...”, she begged and gritted her teeth. “Look, the last 100 names or so sucked, I get it. But...I said I’ll give ya a new nickname, okay? And...this one...fits you 100%!”
“Oh really?”, the aikido master asked carefully. “So....no sex jokes?”
“Hell no!”
“No jokes about me, being attracted to women?”
“Fuck no!”
“Nothing disrespectful?”
“Bitch, this nickname will be so good, ya gonna cream your pan- I mean, that you’ll love it.”
“Hmm....”
Tenko gently removed Miu’s hand from her arm and tilted her head.
“Okay. What’s the nickname?”
“Ha! I thought ya’d never ask!”, Miu exclaimed with false bravado.
Truth be told, she had no clue what kind of nickname to give her. She had been bluffing these past few seconds and knew that if she were to screw up, Tenko would either give her an even worse back injury, a lecture or worse....ig...ig..no...
Nevermind!
Come on, come on...
“Well?”
Tenko waited patiently and tapped her foot up and down, giving the illusion of some sort of pseudo timer.
The clock was ticking.
Come on...
Come on.....
Com-
!
“Your new nickname, is Tenkid!”, Miu said proudly and Tenko raised an eyebrow.
“Umm...okay? Why that name?”
“Duh! It’s a mix between Tenko and Aikido! Your name and your talent! It’s fucking perfect!”, the inventor explained with a grin, noticing her friend’s baffled face and her confidence sunk more and more. “Y...you like it?”
With a sheepish shaking grin, the inventor waited for Tenko to give her an answer. The aikido master tapped her finger on her arm and thought bout it for a moment, when...
“Tenkid...”
She glanced at Miu with a smile.
“I like it!”
“R..Really?”
“Mhm! It gives a cute vibe and yet...”
She did a battle stance.
“It also shows my power! Hiyaah!”, she shouted and Miu flinched fearfully.
“K..keep it the fuck..d..down...”, Miu mumbled, before nodding slowly. “But..yeah...thanks for liking ya new name, Tencr- Tenkid.”
“Your welcome, Miu.”, Tenko answered and then tilted her head. “I admit though. I am surprised you apologised to me, given how you often act like a complete degenerate male most of the time.”
“S..So? Just because I ain’t like a classical vanilla girl, does not mean I am less girly than others!”, the inventor pointed out and Tenko chuckled with a grin.
“I suppose so...Anyways, what did you want to show me?”
“H..Huh? Oh!”
Miu smirked and took something out. A device that resembled a purple banana.
“Bought this in the city and it’s sooo good. Ya wanna try it ya self and think bout Loli Mage and Monk B-”
Tenko’s glare shut the inventor up and she flinched, before shaking her head.
“A..s..simple...no thank you, would have...done the job, ya know?”
“Oh Miu...”, the martial artist mumbled with a sigh. Some things never change.

Chapter 21: Rantaro and Kenta- Friendship
Chapter by Izumeno
Notes:
(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
“Hey, Kenta.”
The monk blinked briefly, before turning around and away from his locker, in order to face his classmate.
Rantaro Amami. Ultimate Traveller....and good friend.
“Ah....greetings, Rantaro.”, Kenta greeted his classmate and bowed. “How can I help you today?”
“You...really don’t need to bow, in front of me.”, Rantaro replied sheepishly, rubbing his hair from behind. “I am just your classmate. Nothing more, nothing less.”
“Right...right...”, Kenta realised and chuckled. “Apologies, it’s a force of habit of mine.”
“It’s okay. I suppose, you greet your masters at the temple like that?”
“Oh yes.”, the monk confirmed and adjusted his orange robes. “Indeed....by bowing, we show respect to the head monk....and our loyalty and dedication, to improve ourselves....”
He folded his hands into a small prayer pose and hummed relaxed to himself, speaking a mantra that Rantaro did not hear properly.
“What kind of mantra is this?”, he asked and crossed his arms, while tilting his head curiously. Kenta’s eyes perked up and he smiled.
“Oh, it is supposed to give you strength, in any kind of situation. Whether you’d be nervous, scared, happy, angry....It gives you strength.”
“I see....that’s interesting.”, Rantaro mused and adjusted his ear-ring. “Kiyo did mention this, among his travels. When he visited that village that nearly whipped him.”
“Yeah....it was good that you were able to help him out, before they did the whipping.”, the monk mused and glanced away. “I appreciate his dedication, but unfortunately too much curiosity can be the death of you.”
“Indeed.....”, Rantaro agreed with a nod, while tilting his head. “Where are you heading, by the way?”
“Hm? Oh, I wanted to do some yoga on the school roof.”, he explained to the traveler and tilted his head. “I do it all the time, you know. But say...Is there any reason, you decided to speak with me?”
“Oh, no reason really. Just wanted to say, hi.”, Rantaro answered nonchalantly. “I mean, I was passing by and thought I’d chat with you for a bit.”
“Heh....I suppose that’s valid.”, Kenta noted and smiled. “You put on some new lipstick?”
He pointed to Rantaro’s lips, which were shining in a dark green tone. When his friend mentioned that, the traveler giggled to himself.
“Ah....heh, yeah Plasma recommended me this brand.”, he explained. “I sometimes go to him and he gives me make-up advice. Like, how to have my face appear more soft and clean.”
“I see....it looks good on you.”, Kenta noted with a smile, while giggling. “I do admit that you are looking good with lipstick.”
“Thanks.”, he replied calmly and turned away. “Anyways, I gotta meet with Korekiyo. He just returned from his travels and I want to greet him.”
“Do that, then.”, the monk said and nearly bowed, before stopping yourself. “See you later, Rantaro.”
“See ya, Kenta. Was nice talking to you.”
With that, the traveler walked away and the monk glanced after him with a smile. He then opened his locker and took out his mat, before closing the locker again and walking off, on the way to the rooftop.

Yeah, the report chapter will come next week. I am just so proud of this, so I had to upload it early.

Chapter 22: Second Report
Notes:
(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
Byakuya starred back at his phone with surprise and confusion on his face.
“Identification? You better identity yourself first! Where is miss Kyotara?”, he said with stern, yet obvious confused voice.
“According to privacy law correction 46-B, profile archiving personnel can only proceed with the proper identification to the assigned civil servant.”, the voice replied back, sounding like a mixture of cold business and extreme boredom.
Byakuya sank dumbfounded into his chair. While he still didn’t get a reply from the ministry of education in regards to the detailed observer, because that very correction was missing from his appeal, the government was still able to force bureaucracy like this onto the project, based on that very same law correction that had apparently gone missing from his appeal.
“Can’t miss Kyotara not do this herself? I’m pretty sure she’d hang up on those unqualified right away!”, Byakuya asked frustrated and annoyed.
“The identification confirmation from the archivist is not government approved. This is exactly why civil service is connected to this project in the first place.”, the voice replied. It was clear they did not care about the project itself or the situation they were in.
“Identification code: 3419673…”, Byakuya signed. He had no choice but to go through this.
“Code received. After verification, call will be re-directed.”, the voice said. If Byakuya didn’t know any better, this voice could have been from AI.
“Hope’s Peak Academy, section talent development. Archivist Seina Kyotara.”, the familiar friendly voice came through the speaker
“Byakuya Togami, with a vocal report. And also miss Kyotara, since when do you have a secretary?”, Byakuya sarcastically with a clear notice of annoyance in his voice.
“I’m guessing you’re talking about civil service? The ministry of education has decided to oversee the protection of personal data for several of Hope’s Peaks’s ambitious projects. Including yours, sir.”, miss Kyotara replied.
While she did sound friendly and professional about it, there was no doubt in Byakuya’s mind that she was just as annoyed about this as he was.
“And that while my detailed observer request is still put on hold…”, Byakuya signed defeated.
“Regrettable, mister Togami. Although I do have a question in regards to the project.”, miss Kyotara said patiently.
“As the former ultimate archivist, miss Kyotara?”, Byakuya asked curiously.
“No, as your humble colleague and former student.”, Seina said.
Under other instances, this would come across as flattery. But Byakuya knew better. When things got personal for Seina, it got serious real quick.
“What differs this specific class with those of former projects? To the level that your enthusiasm about it and stress resistance have decreased ever since the first day?”, Seina asked. Her voice was both curious and concerned.
Byakuya took a moment to think. “This class… The talents assigned to… or students rather, it does not match well with the project in general. Almost all students are either working on their talent in private, working on their talent at the wrong times, don’t have any talent of relevance to the project, or are too distracted by personal problems.”
“And is this a new phenomenon, my respected former mentor?”, miss Kyotara asked with curiosity.
“To this degree, yes.”, Byakuya admitted. “Especially since some of these personal issues only seem to enhance. Take Reiji Miwa for example. Not only is he pushing his personal view in regards to specific talents being superior to others, but he has pushed this outside of the boundaries of the classroom. According to misses Momota, several of her students have reported issues on this subject.
“Will you be interfering?”, the voice asked with a concerned undertone.
“…no… I considered this at first, but I’m sure that this problem will resolve itself as part of the talent development. I too had to learn about the abilities and capacities of others at his age.”, Byakuya said with an uncertain tone.
“A wise decision, sir.”, miss Kyotara supported added.
“Anyway, let’s start the report.”, Byakuya said, clearly trying to keep from getting distracted.
“You can begin now, mister Togami.”, miss Kyotara said, back to her professional-self.
“Byakuya Togami, Economics Teacher, Hope’s Peak Academy.
Subject: Talent Development. Project 32-B. Log 2.
Hereby the continuation of behavioral changes in the students after the announcement of the project. Additional issues will only be reported.
Atara Togane, knife marksman, seem to be suffering from distraction during talent development training. This could very well be linked to the project announcement, which could have created unnecessary tension and/or anxiety.
Amai Kocho is yet another student I need to ask Mr. Hagakure about. Like mentioned before, she is one of the few students without a clear assigned ultimate talent. HPA Scouting Division should be questioned further on these particular cases.
Minuki Nidai as the ultimate writer never seems to share her work with anyone. I would say that publishment of written work is essential to any writer, not to mention that observations on progress cannot be made if this attitude keeps up. Discussion with Mr. Naegi and Ms. Kirigiri will follow in regards of reclusive students.
Reiji Miwa as the ultimate businessman seems to share this exact issue as well. His information in regards to his business is seen as confidential. However, HPA Law Division seems to be working on a solution regarding this issue.
Rui Kisigirai for some reason was assigned two talents. This is not only a nightmare on administrative grounds, but also in regards to working on and keeping track of talent development. Once again, this is something the Scouting Division will have to answer for.
Madoka Hija as the ultimate shamisen player has not shown any significant increase of talent development compared to before the announcement. But this is to be expected, since she has always been practicing whenever the possibility arises. The staff will be questioned during which moment she is not practicing her ultimate talent.
The student only known as John Doe is often seen in the library, which is seen as a good sign. However, personal mental health issues are a factor worth noting. The best course of action would be to assign Doe to weekly appointments with counselor Kumagai.
Yashuga Reima seems to underperform his talents as the ultimate martial artist when being observed specifically. Further elaboration is required to establish the source of this decrease in result.
And lastly, Shinobu Amami. She has been assigned as the ultimate singer. But according to her own saying, she does not know why she is assigned this talent. Further contact with scouting division would not be required yet, as her voice has not yet been heard for her talent. Once results have been found, the necessary actions will be taken to develop her talent further.
The next report will be written in regards to student behavior in regards to their talent in general. This report is scheduled for archiving tomorrow at the same time.

Chapter 23: Kokichi and Adeku-Messing
Chapter by Izumeno
Notes:
(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
“Ade-Chan!”
Adeku perked up from his back and turned around, only to nearly fall onto the ground when someone jumped closer to him. The redhead gasped and fell on the floor with a thud, as a familiar laughter echoed through the room.
“Haha! No need to be scared of, little ol’ me.”
The tinkerer rolled his eyes and turned around, in order to face the source of the voice.
Who was it?
Why, none other than Kokichi Oma. With his usual wide and sneaky grin.
“Hello....Kokichi...”, Adeku mumbled a bit annoyed and began to get up, rubbing his head with a painful hiss leaving his mouth. The supreme leader grinned at him.
“Hey now. Is that a way, to greet your best bud?”, Kokichi asked him and then tears began to form in his eyes. “A...Are you not caring about....me?”
Then out of nowhere, he began to cry heavily, tears flowing like waterfalls onto the floor. Gasping, Adeku quickly got up and shook his head.
“Wh..What? N...No......I.....I just didn’t expect you here, that’s...all...Please...don’t cry....”, the tinkerer quickly explained pleadingly. Upon hearing this, Kokichi looked at him with a worried look.
“Really?”
“Yeah.”, the redhead replied with a gentle smile. “I....I didn’t mean to be rude. I am so-”
“Ok good.”, Kokchi said and then suddenly, all the tears were gone and he glanced at the redhead with his usual sarcastic facial expression. Adeku gasped surprised.
“Where did-”
“Ha. You are so gullible, you know that?”, Kokichi asked jokingly, before putting his arms behind his back. “Seriously, you are sooooo naive. Believing every single word out of people’s mouths.”
“So....you lied?”, Adeku asked carefully and Kokichi nodded quickly.
“Yup, yup! Because I am the Ultimate Supreme Leader and toootallly evil! You can’t trust- Hey!”
His face shifted from amusement to surprise, when Adeku suddenly walked past him and reached towards the door. The supreme leader tilted his head.
“It’s rude to just leave a conversation.”, he pointed out. “Come on, that’s not really nice behaviour.”
“Yeah. But it’s not nice to lie either, is it?”, Adeku shot back, his voice being much more calm all of a sudden. Kokichi immediately noticed the lack of shaking and hesitation in his way of speech and glanced at him curiously.
“Woah. You suddenly speak so different. Did I hurt your feelings?”, Kokichi asked mockingly and Adeku turned to him slowly, his red-orange eyes piercing into his heart.
To say that Kokichi wasn’t a little intimidated, would have been a lie.
No, he was extremely intimidated. That was the truth.
“You constantly lie and play with people’s feelings.”, Adeku told him and shook his head. “All you do is mess with people....to no end. You mock them, bully them and just seem to get a kick out of hurting people...What’s your problem, man?”
He crossed his arms and tilted his head.
“Do you enjoy, making people dislike you?”
The tinkerer kept his gaze towards the supreme leader, waiting for his answer. Kokichi in return gave him a blank stare and didn’t seem to say anything at all.
He was silent.
“Woah. ”, Kokichi asked and began to smirk. “I never thought you’d have the balls to stand up for yourself. Did your daddy give you a pep talk or what? Even though he didn’t show up at the entrance ceremo-”
Kokichi stopped talking, when he noticed Adeku’s right hand forming a fist.
“Don’t. Talk. Shit. About. My. Father.”, he told him with a growl. “See, this is what I mean. You keep mocking others, just to make a rise out of them. So either you have absolutely nothing better to do in your life or you just like being miserable.”
He turned to the door and grabbed the handle.
“I’ll go to Miu. And hopefully forget about our encounter here, so I can enjoy the remainder of the afternoon.”
“Woah. You wanna spend time with such a rude bitch, like her? Seriously, do you really have a thing for big boobs?”, the supreme leader asked dismissively and Adeku took a deep breath, yet didn’t pay him any heed.
“Miu is my friend. My closest friend in my entire life. But you wouldn’t get that, would you? Have a nice day, Kokichi...”
With that, he stepped out of the classroom and slammed the door shut. Kokichi watched after him curiously and tilted his head, his expression blank and his eyes empty.
“Huh...Who would have thought that little Adeku.....wouldn’t be so boring after all.”
He grinned again.
“Well. I think I’ll have some fun with him.”
And with that, he left the empty classroom too.

Heh, I like their dynamic.
Anyways, been thinking of Reposting Killing Life Voyage, but in a more condensed form in order to split the story into...you know, chapters which are actually readable maybe? I dont know...
See ya!
Chapter Text
Klaus glanced around the track field in the morning, cool wind blowing through the area, the sun barely opening its eyes and the entire sky being shrouded in darkness.
To say that this entire situation felt surreal for him, was an understatement.
A few days ago, Kirumi approached him and told him to meet her here in the morning, something that did annoy the redhead a bit.
After all, he hated waking up early. Especially if it was on a saturday morning. Frustrated, he glanced around and took a deep breath, the cold wind flowing through his nose drills.
Just what was this maid, up to?
Why did she ask him to come here out of all places? And even so, where was she?
“Apologies.”
Klaus perked up and turned around, facing the maid. Her attire consisted of a dark grayish track suit and her hair was fluttering in the wind slightly, her eyebrows dancing along with it.
At the same time, in spite of the deafening and suppressing cold, she didn’t seem to be all that bothered by it. In fact, she seemed as composed and collected, as usual.
What was this girl?
“I am sorry for being late.”r friend with the purple hair waking everyone up at 1 AM with his music.”
“Manae.....”, Klaus realised and groaned, shaking his head. “Yeah...he can be a bit tiresome.....”
“Indeed. Did you sleep well, regardless?”
“Sure did. I didn’t even hear him.”
“You....didn’t?”
Kirumi’s eyes widened slightly and she gave him a confused look. Klaus just shrugged.
“He did it before on the island. After a while, we all just got used to it. Well...except Minuki, I take it.”, he replied and chuckled lightly, tilting his head. “She probably complained too.”
“Indeed. She asked me to do something about the noise in the first place.”, Kirumi confirmed and then adjusted her tracksuit slightly, before crossing her arms. “In any case, let us begin with the training.”
“Training?”, the redhead asked bewildered and glanced around. “I do not see any training equipment here...and even so, wouldn’t we use the gym for that?”
“Gym equipment is not necessary for this.”, Kirumi replied and gave him a firm stare. “We will start with some stretching exercises in order to warm up. Let us proceed.”
She began to stretch her body upwards, her arms shooting up to the sky. Klaus glanced at the pose with a hint of confusion and some scepticism, but followed through anyway. The stretching didn’t take long, 2 minutes at most, before Kirumi blew a whistle.
“That’s enough.”, she told the redhead, who instantly stopped. “Let us begin with the actual exercising part. Please do some push-ups.”
“Push-ups?”, Klaus replied bewildered, with a frown. “I hate push-ups....”
“Well, you can go back to your room then. This is not an order, but just a request to follow on with your request.”
So an order, Klaus thought to himself bitterly but nodded and began to lie down on the cold ground, spreading his arm and pressing himself off the ground and then back down again.
His fitness wasn’t anything special. He was much more physically fit than Minuki for sure, but even so.....
He barely managed to reach 7 of them, before collapsing onto the ground. Panting, he glanced up to Kirumi, who wrote something on a small notepad in her hand.
“Hmm......Physical Activity seems...average at best...”, she noted, as Klaus rolled his eyes.
“Gee, no need to remind me that I suck at sports.”, he muttered sarcastically and gritted his teeth. “God, it’s so cold out there.....”
“Well, do not worry. The beginning of the actual exercising test, will further warm you up.”
“Wait....what do you mean by...”the actual test”?”, Klaus asked bewildered. The maid didn’t respond and instead moved her attention, towards the running track. His look followed hers and he resisted the urge to scream frustrated.
Later
“Hmm....a time of 3 minutes........with 2 major laps around 800 metres overall.”, Kirumi noted and smiled at him gently. “Good job.”
“Urgh...my body is killing me.....”, Klaus mumbled and panted, turning to the maid with exasperation. “So...you figured out, where my strengths lie?”
“Hmm....”
Kirumi closed her eyes briefly and she then shook her head.
“Your physical capabilities are nothing to write home about.”, she concluded and then shook her head. “Besides, given your lack of enjoyment of the act of exercising itself, I do not think your abilities or passion lie in sports.”
“Gee, thanks for telling me that Miss Einstein.”, Klaus muttered annoyed and faced her upwards. “So...what now?”
“Now....it’s time to rest.”
“Huh? Over yet again?”, Klaus asked annoyed and crossed his arms, a vein on his forehead twitching. “Are you kidding me?”
“Well.....I was originally considering on continuing this for another hour, but...you are clearly not in the physical condition to do so and therefore, I will stop this and allow you to rest up.”
“But-”
“That is all. Unless of course, you need me to give you a back massage or help you rest up that is.”, Kirumi offered and Klaus stared at her, without saying a single word.
His eyes blinked a bit more at a rapid pace, for about 1 second.
His mouth opened and.....
“I...I am good...Thanks....see ya....”
With that, he walked back dejected and approached the main building yet again, his figure slowly disappearing in the distance. As the maid watched him fully leave, she let out a frustrated sigh...
...before heading back too, in order to get more than just half an hour of sleep for this day.

“That.....was wonderful.......”, Kaede noted in awe, as the pink haired girl put her shamisen away and smiled at her.
“Thank you, Kaede.”, Madoka replied with a bow. “I am content that you enjoyed my small performance.”
“How could I not?”, the pianist asked with a giant smile. “I mean....your finger movements are so soft and your melody sends shivers down my spine....Hehe...”
Madoka chuckled and adjusted her white kimono slightly.
“Well, thank you for the praise. I am glad that I was able to impress the Kaede Akamatsu.”, she noted and giggled along, as she glanced out of the window of the music room thoughtfully. Kaede tilted her head, as her cheeks reddened a bit.
“Y..you don’t need to act like, I am some big celebrity or genius...”, she muttered sheepishly.
“But you are.”, Madoka protested calmly, moving some hair out of her face. “I...used to watch your performances, hundreds of times on TV. The way you played ‘Fuer Elise’ was simply breathtaking. It...was an inspiration for me, too.”
“Me...an inspiration?”, Kaede asked surprised and smiled slightly. “It’s weird to hear that from someone, who is older than me.”
“We are only a year apart, Kaede.”, Madoka pointed out and faced her with a gentle demeanor. “Besides, age is irrelevant, when it comes to abilities. The way you play on the piano..influenced, how I play on my shamisen. It’s....just beautiful.”
“Thanks....”, the pianist replied, her cheeks reddening even further. Something that did not go unnoticed to Madoka.
“Oh my. You are blushing.”
“I am not!”, Kaede protested, clearly denying the obvious truth. “I....I am just allergic to.....to.....”
“To compliments?”, the other girl asked with a slight smirk, causing Kaede’s cheeks to turn from strawberry pink, to tomato deep red.
“St...Stop it!”
Madoka laughed softly and grinned.
“Alright. I shall stop then.”, she explained and Kaede let out a sigh, before shaking her head.
“Thanks...Geez, you really know how to make someone flustered...”
“If you believe that’s the case, then you should meet that one American singer, I met once when I was in the US.”, Madoka explained and chuckled. “Her white hair, pink shirt and charming smile really left an impression on me...And it made me question, how I’d swing actually.”
“Well...I can see, where you picked up your teasing nature then.”, Kaede realised and then closed her eyes for a brief moment, her cheeks returning to their normal color and her composure returning once more. “Anyways, do you want to hear a song of mine too? How bout......Alla Rondo?”
“That sounds lovely.”, Madoka replied, as Kaede giggled happily and sat down on the piano, her fingers immediately dancing on the tunes and filling the air with harmonious souls.

“Hey, Mew Mew...”
Miu glanced up from her workbench and turned to the door of her lab, seeing Rui Kisigirai standing in the doorway, with her usual mischievous smirk. The inventor rolled her eyes.
“You again? Did you seriously break open the door yet again?”
“Hm? Nah, didn’t need to. Your little boyfriend just forgot to unlock it.”, Rui commented amused. Miu rolled her eyes.
“For the 9th time, Adeku ain’t my boyfriend. He’s like a little brother to me, but that’s it.”
“Suuure......That’s why you probably spend a lot of time with him, hm?”
“Fuck off.”
“Awww, why do you have to break my heart, my sweet sweet inventor? I thought you loved me.”
“Love ya? We ain’t dating, Misty-knock-off!”, Miu snapped, blushing furiously and shaking her head, in order to regain some of her composure. “An..Anyways...the hell do you want?”
“Heh...just to chat with you of course. What else?”
“I don’t fucking know, borrow some more porn DVDs? I thought the one with the lesbian pirate couple would finally satisfy you.”
“Mhm..yeah, that one was good indeed. Buuut...like I said, I just want to chat with you. To see how my bestie is doing.”
“Hmph. Is that a lazy excuse of ya, to stare at my tits?”, Miu pressed on, beginning to smirk. She fondled with her own chest. “Can’t blame ya, cuz I am pretty fucking packed. Wanna touch em’?”
But to Miu’s surprise, instead of continuing the teasing, Rui stopped smiling and began to glare at her slightly. Which of course, scared our favorite vulgar blonde in this academy.
“H....Hey....what gives? I...I was just....I thought ya are into chicks...”
“Sure I am. But Miu, I don’t fricking like it, when ya imply that I am only coming here to stare at your boobs.”, Rui answered and crossed her arms annoyed. “Like seriously, we chat daily and yet you still assume that I am only talking to you, because you have a hot bod. I am not vain, you know?”
“Eeek! S...Sorry, j...just...don’t...glare at me...like that...”, the inventor mumbled terrified and wiped sweat off her face. The lucky student glanced at her carefully for a moment, before letting out a sigh and shaking her head.
“I should go...”
“W..Wait! Y....ya can totally fucking stay, really!”, Miu exclaimed and then put on a smirk. “I..In...f...fact...I...I made an invention that ya gonna like!”
“Oh?”, Rui asked curiously, her usual trademark smirk forming on her lips. “Well then. What is it?”
“Behold!”
Miu grabbed a strange metal stick from the table that had a red button at the bottom of it. Quickly, Miu pressed it and all of a sudden, a light pink energy beam formed out of the tip of the invention, hardening and glowing brightly. Rui stared at the scene impressed.
“Woah. A lightsaber? Ya built a frickin lightsaber from Star Wars?”
“Not just any lightsaber, mind ya!”, Miu boasted with a loud cackle. “This lightsaber cuts everything in half! It’s strong enough to....”
Miu took a swing at a nearby trash pile in the corner of her lab and upon impact, it immediately dissolved into nothingness. Rui stared at the scenery impressed.
“Oooh...you built a deadly weapon...Nice, nice. I am sure this will make ya tons of cash. Especially if the militairy will use it in comb-”
“Militairy? That shit ain’t for the militairy, it’s for trash disposal ya idiot.”, Miu cut her off annoyed, much to Rui’s confusion.
“Wait...trash disposal? But this weapon can cut through anything, eh? Even through human fle-”
“Hell no. I built a sensor into the ‘Slash Trash Golden V.1.1’ that lowers the blade’s strength, should it come into contact with any living being. Ya know, cuz I don’t want to cause any wars or anything. Because it’s built for the environment, not for killing people!”
“Aww, man...”
“Wh..Why the hell do ya sound disappointed?”, the inventor exclaimed disturbed, as the redhead crossed her arms childishly.
“I just like violence. But....just out of curiosity, what would happen if a blade would touch your body?
“Well......”
Miu smirked and aimed the blade at her upper chest. Smirking, she touched it and....
...immediately began to moan loudly in pleasure.
“F...Fuck...fuck....god...thi...this feels sooo incredible....God...I don’t wanna st...stop...”
“Kinky.”, Rui commented and then shook her head. “But you know, you probably should stop. Or do you remember what happened last week, when you tried to put up those Christmas lights?”
“Tch...fine...”, Miu muttered offended and hesitantly turned off the weapon. “Wasn’t my fault that Kaede snitched to the Vice-Headmaster.”
“Hm....Yes. That bitch is scary, but hot. She gave me quite the lecture, for making fun of lil Clousey...”, Rui noted and Miu stared at her in disbelief.
“Seriously? Ya are into old grandmas too?”
“As long as they have boobs, anything works for me. Well, except when they are kids. In that case, it’s a massive turn-off.”
“No shit, ya yuripsycho...”, Miu muttered annoyed and put the invention onto the table again, while hissing in pain.
“You okay?”
“I’m fine...just some back hurting that’s fucking all....”
“Right....Anyways, I should get going and chase down Kokichi, because he filmed your entire session of you moaning.”
“Huh?!”
Upon hearing this, Miu’s ears caught some very familiar laughter and then some running steps. Rui grinned.
“Off I go then. See ya, bestie.”
“Make sure that this lil’ abortion gets his dessert!”, Miu shouted after her annoyed, albeit smirking slightly. She straightened her back and hissed in pain, while wiping some sweat off her face.
Who needs enemies, when you have a friend like Rui?

“And that’s how you do it, dear.”, Amai told Yashuga, as he sat on her bed and hissed slightly, when the blonde wrapped his arm around with some bandage. “Honestly, you should learn to treat your own wounds, I won’t be always there to help you.”
“I...I am aware, Amai.”, Yashuga noted nervously and let out a frustrated sigh. “I....I should have prevented that injury to begin with....And should have blocked Tenko’s attack.”
“Well sure, but few leave the battlefield without any scar. You are only human in the end you know.”
“I...I know.”
He hissed yet again, as Amai pressed the bandage on the wound, in order to make sure that it would stick.
“In all honesty though, I am surprised how you even managed to beat her. After all that girl-lover is way more muscular than you are and yet, you had no trouble with her. Well, apart from that wound.”
“W...Well...it’s not all about physical strength...”, Yashuga noted and glanced down with a frown. “You have to be agile too and....know your moves well. In battle, quick thinking is essential. You could be extremely strong and buff and yet...still lose.”
Frustrated, he adjusted his glasses.
“It’s..how I’ve been fighting, since....you know.....”
His eyes darted to the pill bottle in his back. Amai followed his gaze and nodded.
“I see...even with those, you still have a hard time building muscle?”
“Y...yes....My immune system is weak in general and...that was a big reason, why I used to be incredibly sick, before I began martial arts. Thankfully, I am lot less sickly nowadays, but...it’s still noticeable.”
“Well....it probably doesn’t help, because you don’t take care of your health a lot.”, Amai pointed out sternly. Yashuga stared at her shocked.
“Wh..what do you mean? I...t...train a lot and-”
“Yeah. But you spend all night up, playing video games. Not only that, but you drink a lot of energy drinks, instead of tea. That won’t help your body to build up muscle and it won’t help you to strengthen your immune system, you know.”
“I....I suppose so....”, Yashuga noted with a gulp and scratched his head. “I...I am sorry, Amai...But......but...I....I am just..soo nervous and...I...r..really have a hard time, to calm down.”
“Hmm...I see. And you didn’t want to visit that old Freud-geezer?”
“I...would rather not. I..can take care of my...myself-”
“Well apparently not, since you are still nervous and shaking.”, Amai interjected, her brows softening and her eyes gaining some color. “Come on, Yashuga. You know, this won’t help you. You need to at least stop drinking so many energy drinks and sleep earlier.”
“I...I know....... But...they are so..delicious and....I....I can’t....resist.”
“Well, then I’ll help you.”, Amai replied with a smile. “Let’s go to your room and take all the bad sugary stuff away, okay?”
“H..Huh? B...but didn’t you want to.....go to the spa?”
“That can wait, silly. That can wait. Besides, I would never in my fucking life, leave my bestie behind. Ya get me?”
“I....Th..Thanks, Mai...”
“Your welcome, sugar. Now, shall we begin?”
Yashuga nodded and smiled slightly.
“Y...yeah...let’s....do that.”

Chapter Text
It was an early Monday morning and the sun rose above Hope’s Peak academy, shining brightly amidst the darkened city, its city lights turning off slowly, amidst the beginning of a new day.
Kyoko Kirigiri was staring at the sunrise through the window in the conference room, of Hope’s Peak Academy. With a cup of coffee in hand, her gloved hands felt the warmth of the mug and began to slowly wake up from her slumber.
A cup of coffee always fixed things. Even if she pulled an all-nighter, back when she was still a detective and not the vice-headmaster of this academy.
The door opened and Kyoko glanced behind, in order to see a tall broad shouldered, tanned woman with a chubby built enter the room, taking a bite out of a doughnut and grinning happily at her friend.
“Morning, Kiri.”, Aoi greeted her and Kyoko nodded.
“Good morning, Aoi. I see that you are as chipper, as always.”, Kyoko noted with her usual professional tone. Even amongst her closest friends, she couldn’t help but remain profesional with them.
Aoi chuckled.
“Well, that’s what an early swim does to you.”, she snickered, as a yawn escaped her lips. “Although, waking up at 6 sure can be a bit tiresome....”
“I can imagine. Even I sometimes have trouble, getting out of bed in the morning. I need some coffee, to keep me through the day. A best friend’s detective, as grandpa used to tell me when I was younger.”, Kyoko replied, smiling slightly.
“Can imagine. Are the others not here, yet?”
“Well unless they suddenly turned invisible in the middle of the night, then no. They are not.”
“Geez, can you tone down the sarcasm?”, Aoi complained with a pout.
“My apologies.”, Kyoko noted and adjusted her dark red suit slightly. “I suppose some habits die hard. Especially old ones.”
“Yeah, back when you were acting all smart and stuff.”, a new voice said. The two women turned to the door and saw an older man with messy brown-gray hair enter the room, his dark yellow blazer hanging from his shoulders and a pair of glasses sitting on his nose. Yasuhiro had also grown a bit of a beard that he never bothered to shave, because it looked cool. (At least, according to his own words.)
“Morning to you too, Hagakure.”, Kyoko greeted him, as Yasuhiro pouted.
“Hagakure? Why do you always call me, by my last name? I am telling ya, ya can just call me Hiro.”
“My apologies....Yasuhiro.”
Rolling his eyes, Hiro faced Aoi with a smile. “Morning, Hina. Trying out that new apple twirl doughnut from the store? How does it taste?”
“Pretty good, Hiro.”, Aoi greeted him back and licked some off the crumbs off her mouth. “You were right about that new flavour, by the way. It tastes so delicious!”
“Heh, I know. I can’t get enough of them, myself.”
“Yeah. But don’t you dare buy them all out, okay? Leave some for me!”
“H..Hey! You don’t have to act so serious! It’s just doughnuts.”
“There’s nothing more serious than doughnuts!”
“Y...you two....keep acting like, you are still in high sch...school...”
The three turned to the doorway and saw another young woman entering, wearing a messy grey blazer along with a notebook in her pocket. Her hair was tied up in a messy ponytail and the glasses atop her nose were round and pretty worn down, judging by the quality of the lenses.
“Come on, Toko. We’re just having some fun, you know?”, Hiro asked rhetorically.
“Y....Yes...b..by acting like complete and utter buf...buffoons....”
“Don’t be so grumpy, Toko.”, Aoi replied with a laugh. “How bout I make you some coffee? Would you like that?”
“S...Su...Sure...as...as long as.....it’s.....Diego’s Blend...”
Aoi nodded and walked towards the coffee machine in the corner of the conference room, putting in a capsule and a cup. Toko walked by and watched as the liquid poured into the beverage holder, its bitter scent filling the room and its substance being darker than the darkest night. As Kyoko watched the meeting, she glanced at her wristwatch.
6.55 AM.
The door opened up yet again and a middle aged man with dark blonde hair, yet another pair of glasses (how surprising) and a stern look walked into the meeting room, his clean and refined suit and his overly expensive and unnecessary made no secret about the man’s identity.
“Morning, Togami.”, Kyoko greeted him and the former affluent progeny nodded along.
“Good morning Kirigiri, Hagakure.....and....”
He wrinkled his nose in disgust.
“Toko....”
“Ah..g...good morning...B..B...Byakuya...”, Toko stuttered to herself with a dreamy smile. Byakuya rolled his eyes annoyed and glanced around the room. “Where’s Naegi?”
“I suppose his alarm clock broke again and he’s late on time.”, Kyoko noted and shook her head. “He was spending the week-end at his sister’s home and decided to just come into work, from there.”
“Hm. Always late, how typical of our deemed headmaster.”
“Hey, cut him some slack man.”, Yasuhiro interjected with a light grin. The meeting starts at 7, you know. We have time.”
“Hmph. That’s the reason, you got into detention a lot when we were still attending the academy. After all, coming late to class is rather inproper and unprofessional.”
“Geez...you’re beginning to sound like....T....”
Hiro’s look darkened briefly and everyone’s mood darkened for a brief moment as well.
But Aoi shook her head.
“Yeah, Taka would definitely chastise you for that, Hiro.”, the gym teacher noted and then smiled. “It’s okay to say his name, you know. I mean, he was our classmate.”
“I know, but...I didn’t want to bring back, bad memories...”
“That’s sensitive of you, Hagakure. Utterly sensitive and foolish, like Naegi.”, Byakuya remarked, an insult hiding some small praise for the former clairvoyant. “However, Asahina is right. What happened, happened. We need to move on from those events and by denying the mention of our classmates, you are denying their memory.”
“S...Sorry...”
“Don’t beat yourself up, Hiro.”, Aoi told him gently and then glanced at the clock. “Anyways, the rest should arrive soon....”
And indeed, they did.
The remaining staff members, including Mr Okikuni the biology teacher, Nokorimono Munakata the Head of the Ethic Committee, Tatsuo Kugamai the School’s Counselor and Misako Momota, the second gym teacher and homeroom teacher of Class 79-B.
All of them greeted one another and sat down on their respective seats, when at 7.01 AM, the final member of the group entered the meeting room.
“Sorry for being late...my alarm clock broke...”
An older man with hazel brown grayish hair and a strong built approached the desk, his gentle green eyes giving everyone a non-verbal greeting and the others smiled back.
Even Byakuya.
“You really should consider just using your phone as an alarm clock, Naegi.”, Byakuya noted, as the luckster chuckled and sat down.
“I...really should, shouldn’t I?”, he muttered sheepishly, before letting out a cough. “In any case...if everyone’s here, we can begin today’s meeting.”
His tone gained some authoritative strength, as he gave his colleagues a firm look.
“Before we begin with today’s agenda, I would like to ask you, if there are any problems here. Is anything on your mind?”
A hand was slowly raised. That belonging to Misako Momota.
“Mrs. Momota?”, Makoto asked patiently.
“Mr.Naegi, I would like to know, why Amai Kocho was accepted into the academy.”, she began and coughed slightly. “Ever since her arrival at the school, she missed classes a lot and is rather secretive about herself. I can often see her classmates acting all distrustful around her, thanks for her secrecy. Since you personally interviewed each student of this academy, I assume you know her abilities then?”
“That’s correct.”
“So can you tell us, what her main ability is? Because I am having a hard time, integrating her into the class, if I do not know her well at all.”
“Hmm...”
Makoto folded his hands and shook his hand.
“It’s true that I interviewed Amai Kocho. However, I personally have no clue, where her strengths lie per se. She did show some strong social abilities and cooking, but she was rather secretive about her main hobby.”
“And yet you allowed her, to enter the academy?”, Misako asked and crossed her arms. “With all due respect, but do you remember what happened the last time, the school accepted a blonde individual with a charming personality, but anti-social tendencies?”
Makoto glanced away nervously and everyone else’s looks darkened, as Kumagai adjusted his hat. Kyoko was about to reply, when Byakuya opened his mouth.
“Mrs. Momota, I scouted Mrs. Kocho myself and I did a background check of her, with Kirigiri. We didn’t find any troubling results and we simply believe that whatever talent she is hiding, will be brought up by the talent development plan that we are conducting. Needless to say, she is not a dangerous individual.”
“And you base this on what? What are your findings?”, Misako pressed on.
“Those findings are all completely irrelevant right now, especially since according to the academy’s private policy, we are not allowed to spread sensitive information about the academy’s students.”, he clarified and adjusted his glasses. Misako let out a frustrated sigh, as Mr. Okikuni chimed in.
“Give her time....Mrs. Momota...Some people need some time, to find their ground...I do not need to remind you that Reiji Miwa is also a bit distant from all, but two classmates. Same with Minuki Nidai. Some.....just prefer to be not as social.”
“I...suppose so....”, the homeroom teacher replied and let out a sigh. “I do not have any further objections then.....”
“I see.....Do not worry Mrs. Momota, I am sure she will open herself up to others.”, Makoto told her and let out a cough. “Ahem.....If anyone has no other issue to report, then I’d like to continue. Anyone?”
No one complained.
“Okay, good. Byakuya, how is the talent development plan going on?”
“It’s going at a decent pace, if a bit slow.”, Byakuya replied and pushed some hair off his face. “The good news is that the structure of the program is planned, but it still needs some preparation. I had Mrs. Kiyotara work on the refinements of the plan and will present the result to the board, once we are done.”
“Woah, letting your secretary work on something so important? How interesting...”, Nokorimono teased with a wide grin. But Byakuya glared.
“Whatever perverse thoughts and ideas you have, she is my secretary and a former student of this academy. Do not have any sullen thoughts.”
“What? But I didn’t even say anything.”, Nokorimono replied innocently. Makoto let out a cough.
“Ahem....Well then, Mr. Kugamai are you able to keep up with the clients?”
“I am, I am.”, he confirmed calmly. “It is of no issue at all, to take care of them. However...”
“However?”, Mr. Okikuni asked curiously. “Is there a problem, after all?”
“Not related to my profession, per se. However, I do see some individuals like Yashuga Reimi, struggle psychologically. It’s been reported by Kenta that he was on the verge of a mental breakdown a couple of times and yet, he has not scheduled a meeting with me.”
“I see....it’s probably because society’s attitude towards therapy is rather strict, even after the tragedy.”, Kyoko realised and then closed her eyes. “That is a rather pressing issue here in this country and the Prime Minister’s hyper masculine energy certainly does not help.”
“I agree, man. We gotta do something bout it.”, Yasuhiro said and then grinned. “Oh! How bout we let them all watch some movies bout mental health in classes? Like.....Oh! Like Cool Cat Saves the-”
“No. Just no.”, Byakuya interrupted him with a glare. “Do not mention that idea, ever again.”
“Hey!”
“Byakuya, it’s okay.”, Makoto told him and nodded along. “Yasuhiro has a point. We need to bring awareness about mental health treatment, but I do not think movies will do much help.”
“Do you have an idea for that?”, Kugamai asked the headmaster.
“Well...not right now. Do you?”
“Personally, no. My expertise lies in giving psychological help, not scheduling events. I am horrible at stuff like that.”
“Then we should put this on the list, of upcoming projects.”, Kyoko confirmed and then turned to Makoto again. “Should we continue?”
The headmaster nodded and smiled.
“Yeah, let’s keep going with...”

“And that is it for today, thanks for attending.”, Mr. Okikuni noted with a slight smile, the students immediately getting up from their desk and walking off. As they left, Reiji eyed Klaus walking out of the classroom with Minuki, Manae and Kijo. He gritted his teeth.
How dare that faker walk through the halls, of Hope’s Peak Academy? He was a nobody, a loser.
Worthless.
And he’d put him in place, if that stupid vice-headmaster didn’t threaten to kick him off the school, if he did it again.
“Stupid fucking bitch.....”, Reiji muttered under his breath, watching as Rui and Madoka left the classroom. He was about to follow, before he suddenly felt a strong hand on his shoulder.
“Hmph. Someone forgot to take their coffee?”
Reiji’s eye twitched, as that gruff and deep voiced reached his ears.
Not him....
“Arata Togane.”, Reiji noted and pushed his hand away annoyed. “First of all, don’t you dare touch me. Your gloves dirty my jacket!”
“Right, sorry your highness for sullying your tomato jacket.”
“T..Tomato?! Do you have any idea, how expensive that jacket was?”
“Nope. And honestly, I don’t give a fuck.”, Arata replied and crossed his arms. “What I want to know is, why you are so keen on Klaus?”
“What do you even mean?”
“You know. You’ve been staring at him the entire class and even more so, since Kijo put you in place.”, Arata pointed out with a sly grin, as Reiji’s eyes widened.
“W...Wait! Wh...what do you mean?”
“Oh, you know. Rui told us in the groupchat that Kijo shut you up and you backed off, because of it.”, the brunette explained, causing Reiji’s eye to twitch.
“Rui...Wait.”, he realised and tilted his head. “Since when do we have a group chat? And why wasn’t I invited?”
“Well see, originally you were going to be invited. But Amai said that you bullying Klaus isn’t cool and so, she didn’t invite you.”
“What? So just because I pointed out how he’s a loser, I’m not allowed to participate in class events? Is that it?”
“Course not. I mean, ya know how you treated the rest. Right?”
“Tch. I treat every classmate with respect and-”
“That so? That’s BS.”
Arata’s look tightened and he crossed his arms. Reiji began to back off a bit.
“Wh....what is that supposed to mean?!”
“Well, let’s see....You called Shinobu an annoying bitch, just because she wanted to go eat with you, called Yashuga an excuse of a man and you also called Manae an autistic idiot. Pretty rude, to say the least.”
“I-”
The rich snobby bitch was stunned for a brief moment, before shaking his head and crossing his arm.
“What are ya getting at? Why did you suddenly approach me?”
“Oh, because I have a big boner for you and want to pound you into the wall.”, Arata replied and before Reiji could gasp in shock, he quickly said: “Why do you think, I am talking to ya? I am talking to ya, to tell ya how things are. And how treating people like crap isn’t gonna be good, you know.”
“Tch.....Quiet...”
“What? I am speaking the truth here, no? Sure, you are nice to your ladies, because they’re hot and-”
“Rui and Madoka are my friends!”, Reiji snapped angrily with venom dripping his voice. “Don’t you dare assume that I am only associating myself with then, because of their superficial qualities!”
“Woah, calm down.”, Arata interrupted him, completely unfazed by Reiji’s aggression. After all, Arata was an expert when it came to weapons and combat itself. If Reiji really was that dumb and would attack him, then he’d spend time in the hospital.
For a long time.
“Listen, I’m just saying how it is.”, Arata told the spoiled brat and grabbed his back. “You don’t have to change. If ya love being isolated that is.”
And with that, Arata walked out of the classroom, past Rui and Madoka, who eyed their friend curiously. But before they could say anything, Reiji grabbed his own bag and walked up to them and shook his head.
“Let’s...head for lunch please..”

Chapter 30: Myadera and Tsumugi- Fiction
Chapter by Izumeno

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
“Myadera!”
The philospher perked up and glanced around the corner of the courtyard, noticing Tsumugi Shirogane running towards her. She smiled.
“Ah...Tsumugi, what is going on? You do seem...excited.”
“I sure am! They released the new volume of Verboten Liebe, you know?”
“They...they did? Oh..oh my...”, Myadera noted and began to blush sheepishly. “God...I forgot about the series completely.....How did I not hear about the release, of the new volume?”
“They just released it today! And thankfully, I got a copy just in time from the store!”, Tsumugi explained delighted and sat down next to her with a grin, giving her a copy of her own. “Oh and I got another one for you too.”
“O...Oh my...thanks..”
“Your welcome! I would not leave a fellow cultural enjoyer behind. Even if I did have to beat an old lady with a stick!”, the cosplayer explained proudly and chuckled sheepishly, as Myadera raised an eyebrow. “Relax. I didn’t beat anyone with a stick.”
“Right...of course.”, the philosopher noted and glanced at the volume in delight, the cover of two men with naked and chiseled upper bodies lying next to one another. Myadera blushed. “So...arousing.”
“Yeah...Heh, god the topics in that manga are so taboo... I love them!”
“I am aware. You...consume tons of manga with topics that could be considered...gross.”, Myadera replied with a nod. “I.....I do it too...At least, pornographically speaking. Mostly...”
“Heh...yeah, I can plainly see that.”, Tsumugi commented with a girlish giggle. “Those mangas...those fictional characters...they fill me with life, you know....”
“With...life?”
“Oh yes.”
The otaku’s smile lessened a bit, the noon sun shining down towards them. Lunch break would end soon.
“Think about it....In real life, there are so many laws and rules. Don’t act like x, don’t do y, don’t do z...It’s so frustrating, you know. To be restricted by laws....”
“Well, laws do exist for a reason. If there is no hierarchy, then there would be bloodshed.”, Myadera pointed out and adjusted her hair. “Anarchistic beliefs do think that the people could regulate themselves, but that’s under the assumption that all people are equal and the same and that human beings are generally selfless and-”
Myadera’s cheeks reddened, as she stared at Tsumugi’s amused facial expression.
“Oh...my apologies. Do go on.”
“Heh, don’t worry about it. When you talk like that, you sound like a very wise manga character.”, the cosplayer reassured her, before nodding. “But yeah. That’s why fiction is so fun. All those laws...all those rules...all those things you would never do in this world, you are allowed to do in a fictional world. I....I....”
Her voice lowered itself.
“To create a perfect world...in my image....that....would be a dream come true......”
Myadera noticed that the light in Tsumugi’s eyes disappeared. For a moment, she almost looked like a doll.
Like the dolls of her brother......
“Tsumugi...you are drooling.”
Upon hearing this, the light in Tsumugi’s eyes quickly returned and she gasped, before wiping her mouth clean.
“Ah...sorry.”, she mumbled embarrassed and coughed. “I....didn’t know what got into me...”
“It...is quite alright.”, Myadera assured her with a smile. “We both got lost in our ramblings then. Now, we are even.”
“Yeah...hehehe...”, Tsumugi muttered sheepishly, before adjusting her hair and glasses. “Anyway...shall we figure out if Fridolin chose war or love?”
“I’d...love that...”
And thus, the two perverted gals spent the rest of the lunch break, reading that tasteless manga.

Chapter Text
“Hey, Miu my bestie!”, Kokichi shouted from across the classroom, the others having already left the room and heading to lunch. The inventor rolled her eyes and glared at the supreme leader.
“The hell do ya want, ya little bitch?”
“Is that a way, to talk to your best friend?”
“My best friend is Adeku, not some purple abomination.”, Miu replied and crossed her arms. “Now, what the hell do ya want?”
“Nihihi......Oh, I just wanted to know what you’re up to.”, he explained and grinned. “I bet you are gonna whore yourself out in your lab, won’t you?”
“Wh...Whore you...myself?”, Miu asked surprised with a gulp, beginning to blush immensely. “I.....Fuck off! I..don’t do that in my lab! (At least not during the day).”
“Suuuure......Well. I am sure you’ll have fun regardless, with your little fuckbuddy over there!”, Kokichi answered with a smirk.
“Fuckbuddy? The hell ya mean?”
“I mean, our dear friend Deku! Why else would he hang out with a bitchlet like you?”
For someone like Kokichi, it was only natural of him to rile up everyone he met. Especially if it was a certain robot and a certain prostitute, pretending to be a genius. And of course, Kokichi always managed to get a rise out of her.
Yet....
To his surprise, Miu didn’t moan, climaxed or drool.
No....she....She was glaring at him? And not saying anything?
Was today, the Opposite Day?
“Umm....Miu?”, Kokichi asked and folded his arms behind his back. “Didn’t you hear me? I asked you something.”
Miu didn’t respond.
Instead, she packed her bag and walked off. Kokichi rolled his eyes and walked after her, out of the classroom.
“Hey, it’s not nice to just ignore me. Answer me! Moan for me! Anything, come on! Just act like the usual whore, okay?”, he asked her and finally Miu stopped in her tracks and yet didn’t turn to him. Her shoulders slumped upwards, as she took a deep breath and...
“Listen. I don’t give a fuck, if you are gonna humiliate me. But leave Deku the fuck out of this, okay? He’s the only person, who ever gave a damn about me alright? And I won’t listen to ya, sully his name like that. Got it?”
“Huh.”
Kokichi stopped smiling. Miu shook her head.
“See ya later......Kokichi.”
With that, the inventor walked off and Kokichi glanced after her, intrigued. He noticed Adeku walking up to her and the two began to chat along, before both shot him a glare. Then they walked off.
And Kokichi wasn’t sure, if he should feel honored or hurt.
Whatever the case, Miu really seemed to have more of a personality than being a whorish bimbo. Good to know.

Dont piss off Miu
Chapter Text
“Is this some sort of joke?”, Plasma asked as he adjusted his face with some eyeliner. Maki nodded.
“Yeah. Kokichi pissed off Miu so much that she didn’t react gross.”
“Heh....how weird to see that from my little brother....”, Plasma mused and did some kissy motions in front of the mirror. “Seriously, when was the last time that bimbo didn’t break into a moaning mess, the moment Kokichi insulted her?”
“Beats me.”, Maki muttered and leaned her head against the door of his room. “God, it’s such a pain to always watch after him.”
“Yeah, but he’s family. Lady Tamayo trusted you with her job.....if you know what I mean.”
Maki’s eyes darted away.
“..........Right.”, she mumbled and shook her head. “Anyways, are you going to meet Myadera later?”
“Hm? What gave you that idea?”
“The fact that you’re putting extra make-up onto your face.”
“Oh. Heh....guilty as charged.”, Plasma admitted with a sheepish grin. “I know how much she loves this lipstick sort. Blueberry No.9. Blue’s her favorite color after all.”
As he did more kissy motions, Maki glanced around his room and rolled her eyes frustrated, noticing all of his clothes on his bed.
“Idiot, how many times did I tell you to clean up your room?”
“Ah come now, Maka Baka. Give lil’ ol me some space.”
“Tch....”
The assassin began to pick up his clothes, which Plasma noticed of course and turned to her surprised.
“I didn’t ask you to clean my room, you know.”
“Hmph. Just shut up, you won’t clean it anyway.”, she muttered and Plasma chuckled to himself.
“Right.....Thanks, sis.”
“Whatever.”

Chapter 33: Korekiyo and Myadera: Siblings (NO INCEST)
Chapter by Izumeno
Notes:
Okay, in all honesty, I was really hesistant to put this one out. Even though this version of Kiyo's sis didn't do sweet home alabama with him nor did she abuse or groom him, I was still not sure if I should write this one. So before you read, let me reiterate:
Korekiyo and his sister are NOT dating. There's no toxicity. Their sibling relationship is healthy and to the norm.
Thanks ^^
Chapter Text
“Ah sister....there you are....”, Korekiyo noted, as he looked up from his stumbles when his black haired sibling entered the room, a polite smile on her face.
“Greetings brother. Are you still working on those documents?”
“Indeed.....Analysing the customs of that whipping village sure is fascinating.....”
Myadera blushed.
“I...suppose it is.......”, she muttered to herself. “After all...those lashes....must hurt...”
“Yes...I suppose so....But sister...”
“Yes?”
“You are drooling. Please cut it out.”
“O...Oh...right...”, she mumbled and wiped her mouth clean, shaking her head. “I did visit this village once.....”
“You...did?”, Korekiyo asked and raised an eyebrow, his voice dripping with curiosity.
“Indeed....Mother was on one of her trips and decided to take me with her......That was 3 years before you were born, I believe.”
“Hmm.....interesting....To think that mother would have visited such a place...”, Korekiyo mused, before giggling. “After all...given her work, it hardly surprised me......”
Myadera grimaced, noticing the forced laughter in her brother’s voice. She glanced down.
“........Yes....”
She shook her head.
“It......it is not really a good idea, to.....look through that document too much....”
“I...agree.”
Korekiyo adjusted his mask and opened it, revealing his clean lips.
“I am starving. Shall we go eat, with your boyfriend?”
Myadera smiled.
“I was hoping you’d ask that.”
Chapter 34: Angie and Shinobu- Painting
Chapter by Izumeno

Chapter Text
“Is...this right?”, Shinobu asked and Angie shook her head with a laugh.
“No, no silly! You need to stand completely still and let Atua do his work!”, Angie replied to her with a loud laugh, which hallowed through her wide lab. Shinobu rolled her eyes.
“I know, but like, this is sooo uncomfortable! Do I really have to make...a pose like that?”
She was currently sitting on a chair and had her head rest on her hand.
“Of course! After all, you did say that you wanted the painting to show, how smart you are! And what's smarter than a posture based on the Thinker statue itself? I think it's pretty fitting.”
“Right, but...for the last 10 minutes I've been sitting there like that and you like haven't even started! Give this girl a break, will you?”
“Sorry! But you asked me out of nowhere and art takes time! I need to think about the color palettes, what brushes to use...Hmm...”
Angie grabbed her belt and hummed at her selection. Shinobu was about to take a sigh of relief when Angie finally chose a brush...
...only to retreat her hands at the last second.
“My hand is hurting.....”
“That's okay. Because I got it, now.”, Angie replied and lifted up her brush. “Now the painting can finally begin!”
“Thank god...”
“I just need to do a quick 30 minute meditation for Atua first.”
“Nooo!”

“Why are you hanging out with him?”
“Hm?”
Madoka glanced up from her seat and gave her classmate a bewildered look.
“You have to be more specific, Amai.”
“I mean like, Reiji. God, he's so rude to all of us. How can you and Rui spend time with him?”
“I just can. Reiji is not a monster.”
“Oh, not a monster. Sure. And he totally didn't beat Klaus up, just because he didn't fit in with the rest of us.”, Amai mused and rolled her eyes annoyed. Madoka tugged her sleeve.
“I admit what he did was horrible....but he's not a bad guy, once you get to know him.”
“Well, maybe but....how did you get to know him?”, Amai asked and then smirked. “Oh, I see. Did he whip out his-”
“I'd appreciate it, if you would not assume such gross things.”, Madoka noted and shook her head irritated.
“What? It was reasonable, to assume.”
“For you, maybe.”, she noted and then shook her head. “Listen. Reiji....is admittedly difficult. Especially, when he buys something that cost a lot of money for him....”
Hitting her shamisen, a soft tune echoed through the empty classroom and she glanced down. Her mouth did not open for quite a while and she instead played a few more tunes. Amai admitted that it sounded rather pretty.
Like...a tune from her childhood....
“Reiji....”, Madoka finally said. “He....helped me and Rui a long time ago...he had nothing to gain from helping us two....yet, he helped us. Ever since then, we three stuck together. And...remained good friends, till this day.”
Madoka gave the blonde a firm look, tightening her instrument.
“You only see Reiji's bad sides. But if you saw what we saw, then you'd change your mind.”
“Yeah, maybe. Doesn't give him an excuse, to be an asshole.”, Amai pointed out. “Junko Enoshima also had good sides, didn't she? Doesn't mean that she was a good person now, was she?”
Madoka stared at the blonde with an unreadable expression, though Amai could tell that she hit a nerve with the shamisen player.
After all, sweat was dripping off her forehead.
“Hmph. You are free, to believe what you'd like.”, Madoka said and then got up, adjusting her kimono and turning to the exit. “I wish you a goodnight, Amai.”
“Yeah, yeah. You too, sugar.”, Amai replied and rolled her eyes, as the shamisen player left and closed the door behind her.
Now, Amai was the only one alone in the empty classroom. It.....felt off-putting.
She hasn't been this alone, since-
...........
Amai left.

Miu and Shuichi
“Hey, Emo Boy!”, Miu shouted across the cafeteria and Shuichi perked up from his table and got up, leaving his own foodtray behind and approaching his classmates.
“Hey Miu....what's up?”, he asked cautiously, preparing himself for the worst. The inventor groaned.
“That's how ya greet me? Not even with a smile on my face, ya dipshit? Ya should be grateful that I am even talking to you!”, she snapped and flipped him off.
“Right....of course.....”, Shuichi answered and smiled sheepishly. “So...what do you want to show me?”
“This!”
Suddenly, Miu pulleed up a giant device that looked like some sort of microwave and put it onto the table, hissing in pain while rubbing her back.
“Are you....okay?”
“I'm...fine!”, the inventor replied with a forced thumbs up, before smiling confidently. “I know how much ya like that stupid hat of yours, so behold! I made a new invention that can create a new hat in the microwave!”
With a grin, she pressed on a few buttons and the inside of the microwave lightened up. Shuichi tilted his head surprised, when there was a small jingle and the door opened up, revealing an exact replica of his hat. Proudly, she took it out and put it on his head.
“There ya go! A new and improved emo detective hat!”
“Well...thanks, I guess.”, Shuichi noted and mused, as his fingers touched the soft texture. “It...feels pretty good.”
“Course it does. After all, no one except this genius can make ya feel good.”, Miu replied and cackled proudly and spat a bit. “Your welcome!”
“Thanks, but....why?”
“Ya seriously ask that? My body is hot as fuck and-”
“No I meant, why did you build this for me?”, Shuichi wondered and tilted his head. “Like......what's the occassion? My hat is still fine, you know.”
Miu's smile dropped harder than Tesla's stock price and she fiddled with her hairstrain nervously.
“Oh....ummm....well....”, she muttered shyly and her cheeks reddened, before she shook her head. “Does it matter? Just accept the gift already, ya bastard.”
“O...Okay, okay....Thanks....”, Shuichi replied and rubbed his back sheepishly. “Do...Do you want to sit with me at my desk and....eat?”
“Huh? Why the fuck would I do that?”, Miu asked bewildered and annoyed, before looking away nervously. “But.....thanks. That'd be nice....”
And so, the two of them spent the remainder of the break together.

Chapter Text
John was sitting in the library, another book in his hands. This one was about a serial killer entirely made of blood and who sucked the blood completely out of his victims. It was quite a gory concept.
Yet John didn't mind in the slightest.
After all, it's been a long day full of classes and he just wanted to relax with a good book of his. And there's no better way to relax than reading a crime novel. Thanks to the library's vast amount of books of all kinds, he had plenty of reading material here. And new books would arrive, every month.
As he turned another page, he suddenly heard something hitting the ground. Confused, he looked up and then noticed someone throwing book after book on the ground.
"No...No.....Hell no.", he mumbled and John recognised the gruff dark appearance and that raspy voice.
Arata Togane, a classmate of his. Known for his constant grumpy nature and the fact that he rarely smiled, he was hard to get used to. Just like that other girl from that inventor's class. He wasn't that surprised at how simmilar they were, considering they were like family.
Sharing an orphanage with this many kids, would do that to you.
John was about to go back to his book, when he saw more books being thrown and annoyed, he got up and approached Arata.
"Can you please stop it? I am trying to read here.", he said to him and the brunette turned to him irritated.
"Sorry, emo but I need to look for something."
"I am not an emo though.", John replied with a sigh. "The only dark thing about me is my hair. The rest is quite bright and-"
"Tch, shut up smartass.", Arata interrupted him and then went back to throwing books on the ground. John rubbed his eyes and crossed his arms.
"What are you looking for, anyway?"
"I'm looking for a cooking book.", he replied, his eyes fully focused on the bookshelf. "I wanna surprise Maki with her favorite cookies and that's why I'm looking for a cooking book here."
"A cooking book?", John asked confused. "Can't you just look it up online?"
"Tch, I tried that once. But Maki got pissed at me, saying the foundation is all wrong. So, I'm going back to the roots and try to look for this damn cookbook."
"I see...What does the book look like?", John asked him curiously.
"It's green with some strawberry pie on it.", he replied and John glanced up.
"Like this one, up here?"
He pointed upwards and Arata stopped, following his gaze. Indeed, there was a cooking book up there and Arata smiled happily.
"Hell yeah, that's it.", he said and tried to grab it, but the shelf was too high for him. His smile faded and he growled frustrated. "Forget this. I'm going to climb it."
"That's not a good idea.", John commented. "The shelf itself is quite old and it's not glued to the ground. With your weight, you'd end up falling with the shelf during the climb."
"Tch, true...", Arata admitted and scratched his head. "And the ladder is in repair. What the hell am I supposed to do now?"
Gritting his teeth, he glared upwards before John put his hand on his shoulder.
"Pick me up."
"What?", the brunette asked bewildered.
"Pick me up and I'll stand on your shoulders to get the book.", John explained calmly. "With our combined height, I can reach it."
"Well...Fine. But take off your shoes, I don't want them to dirty my brown jacket.", he replied annoyed and John nodded, not telling him that his jacket wasn't particularly clean to begin with. He took off his shoes and Arata picked him up, before John climbed on his shoulders. Thanks to Arata's strong built, he wasn't fazed at all by his weight and therefore, John had some solid surface under his feet.
And so, he grabbed the book and then climbed down Arata's back, before giving him the book.
"There you go.", he told him and the brunette took the book gratefully.
"Thanks kid. I owe you one.", he said and then smirked. "Maki's gotta love it. I'm sure of it."
"Mhm....", John replied with a nod. "I hope she will."
He was about to turn back to his book, when Arata stopped him.
"Say, John."
"Hm?", he asked, turning around.
"You look a bit like that Emo Detective from the other class.", he pointed out. "Do you know each other? Are you like brothers?"
"Brothers?", John asked surprised, before shaking his head. "No, I do not have a brother."
"Ya sure? Because you look pretty simmilar. Except you're taller, bigger and look less like a pussy."
"Don't say that to him, please.", John replied, shaking his head. "This...Shuichi guy may seem a bit insecure, but he is a detective for a reason."
"Hm. We'll see bout that.", Arata replied, before turning around. "Anyways, thanks for the help. Have fun reading your bloodplay novel."
"It's not about....bloodplay.", John replied exasperated and a bit embarrassed, while Arata chuckled.
"Sure, sure. Anyways, see ya."
With that, he walked off and John glanced after him, before going back to his book.
Particularly, the blood play scene.

Chapter 38: Kirumi and Klaus (4)-Interview
Chapter by Izumeno
Notes:
(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
“Welcome back, Klaus.”, Kirumi greeted him, as he entered her lab and closed the door behind him, the redhead waving at her.
“Hello Kirumi. What's up today?”, he asked her and tilted his head. “Don't tell me that I have to keep taking stupid tests with stupid answers.”
“Not at all. Please sit down.”
Klaus followed her command and so, faced her from the other side of the table. The maid gave him a smile.
“Today, I want to learn a bit more about you Klaus.”
“Oh yeah? Did you oversleep these past sessions with me or what?”
“Nonsense. I never sleep, for I am a maid.”
“That doesn't sound healthy.”, Klaus commented dryly and Kirumi's eye twitched for a brief moment, before shaking her head.
“In any case, this session is all about learning of your past. Your upbringing and whatnot.”
“What, you'll have me lie on a bench and tell you all my traumas, while you sit next to me with glasses?”
“If you'd like that.”
“Was a joke.”, Klaus answered annoyed and rolled his eyes, choosing his next words carefully. “Well...my upbringing....I'm from an island. I...was born and raised there, by mom and dad.”
“An island you say? One that's close to Japan?”
“Hell no.”, the redhead denied, somewhat annoyed. “The island is so far off any location that it would approximately take a few weeks to reach land by boat.”
“And by plane?”
“We don't have an airport here.”
“Interesting......What is this place called?”, Kirumi pressed curiously and to her dismay, Klaus shook his head.
“Doesn't matter.”
“Does it not?”
“As far as I know, you want to know bout me. Not about planning a trip to my hometown island.”
“Hm...Very well.”, Kirumi answered professionally, keeping her emotions in check. “Then may I know, what kind of work your father and mother do?”
“Well......Mom is a photographer. A great one at that too.”, Klaus explained, smiling to himself. “She always takes the family pictures and is pretty nitpicky, on how she takes her photos. It's annoying to both me and dad.”
“Yet you are smiling.”
“Because mom's a good person, of course.”, Klaus pointed out. “She took care of me and attended my needs. What kind of mother wouldn't do that?”
His eyes darted to Kirumi. It was hard to see, but....
Did her lip just twitch?
Weird....
“And what about your father?”, she asked nonchalantly. Klaus scratched his head.
“Dad is...well, guess ya could call him the mayor of the island.”
“A politician then?”
“.....You could say that.”
“Hmm...I see.”, Kirumi said and wrote her notes down on a piece of paper that magically appeared out of nowhere. Of course, it didn't.
But given how swift her movements were, it may have did.
“And was your childhood a good one? Had any friends?”
“What kind of question is that?”, Klaus snorted, somewhat offended, somewhat not. “I am literally attending the academy with my 3 childhood friends.”
“Minuki, Kijo and Manae?”
“No, Rowling, Maria and Pinnochio. Course, who else?”
“No need to be snarky towards me.”, Kirumi told him softly, her icy gaze piercing him. Klaus found it scary.
“Whatever...point is, I had a good life there.”
“I see..And what did you do on the island?”
“Well...lots of things, really. Playing video games, watching movies....Whatever most kids our age do. You know the drill.”
“I do not.”
“Huh?”
Kirumi glanced away.
“I.....did not do that, as a kid.”
“Hm? What, you didn't have friends or anything?”
“.........You could say that.”, she told him and before he could press on, she changed topics. “Well then Klaus, can you tell me how you got into blowing bubbles?”
The moment she mentioned his favorite hobby, Klaus' eyes lightened up.
“Well, sure.”, he said, trying to sound normal, even though he was geeking out. “See on my island, there isn't much to do. We didn't have many toys back there, except cheap party toys. One of them was a blowing bubbles set. Tried it out, when I was pissed at one time when Manae rickrolled me and well....”
His facial features relaxed.
“It's......relaxing. The way they form themselves and flow into the air.....It's lovely.”, he said, tugging his shirt. “Sure, some would say that anyone can do that shit.Which ain't wrong, but it still feels good to do so. Not everything has to be learned, in order to be enjoyed. Right?”
He looked at Kirumi, waiting for an answer. The maid had her eyes closed and didn't respond for a long while, before nodding.
“Of course.”
She wrote it down and then looked up. “That'd be all then.”
“Short as always, hm?”, he quipped.
“Forgive me, but I got to learn enough about you, for this session.”, she said and got up. “We shall meet again next week.”
“Yeah, sure.”, Klaus replied, getting up too. “Oh by the way..”
“Yes?”
“Minuki and I want to go to the cinema on Friday. Wanna tag along?”
Kirumi stared at him bewildered for a brief second, before covering it up with her usual professional look.
“I cannot. I am a maid.”
“What? You don't take any breaks?”
“I already said that my duty does not allow me to take breaks. I do not sleep and rest much, after all.”
“Wait...you serious? I thought that was a joke!”
“A joke?”, Kirumi asked and shook her head. “No...a joke is something like this: Why were the pirates not allowed to watch a movie at the cinema?”
Klaus raised an eyebrow. Kirumi continued.
“Because it was rated Arrr.”, she explained calmly. Klaus blinked.
And then deadpanned.
“That's from Spongebob.”
“Hm?”, Kirumi asked, somewhat startled. “What do you mean?”
“That's from Spongebob, from that one episode where Spongebob and Squidward thought that Mr.Krabs was a robot.”, Klaus explained and smirked. “Thought you weren't one for watching cartoons.”
“I....never said that.”
“But you implied it, given your whole workaholic routine.”
“I.....”
Kirumi adjusted her tie.
“I do not know, what you are talking about.”
“Sure. But whatever. See ya.”
So, Klaus walked out of the lab and closed the door behind her, with Kirumi cursing herself for letting her mask slip.
Stay professional.
Stay professional.

Chapter 39: Himiko and Shinji- Magic
Chapter by Izumeno

Chapter Text
“For the 100th time, it's magic!”, Himiko exclaimed at Shinji, who just shrugged and gave her an annoyed look.
“And for the 100th time, magic isn't real. You are a magician, not a mage.”
“That's not true!”, Himiko shot back, tightening her fist. “My magic is real!”
“Oh yeah?”, Shinji asked, leaning over the table of the break room. “Prove it.”
Provoked, Himiko of course accepted the challenge and took out a set of cards.
“I'm gonna guess the card you-”
“Nuh-uh.”, Shinji suddenly interrupted her and shook his head, with a growing smirk. “If you want to prove that your so-called magic is real, you need to prove it in a different way.”
“Nyhe? Wh...What do you mean?”
Shinji's grin widened so much that it would make the Ceshire cat jealous. Fiddling with his glasses, the redhead made his request.
“I want you, to make this table disappear.”
“Y..You what?”
“Did I stutter? I want you to make this table disappear. Immediately.”, he confirmed and Himiko rolled her eyes, while adjusting her hat.
“I heard you the first time, but....”
“But?”
“But...that will take a lot of my MP....and I am a bit tired.”
“Heh. AKA, you can't do it.”
“I can!”
“Then prove it.”, Shinji replied firmly. Himiko glared at him for a bit, before crossing her arms.
“Fine. You asked for it.”, she said and adjusted her sleeves. “Close your eyes.”
“Tch, fine then.”
Shinji did as she said and closed his eyes. Whatever she was planning to do, it won't work.
Her? Making the table disappear? That's outright impossible.
As Shinji was waiting, Himiko fiddled with her hat.
Come on...come on....
How could she make this massive table disappear?
.................
Himiko smiled.
“Prepare to be amazed!”, she said and her fingers twitched, turning on a music track on her phone. “Fall to your knees, for I am Himiko Yumeno, the Ultimate Mage!”
Shinji groaned annoyed and then suddenly sniffed something.
Was that....smoke?
It smelled horribly and he couldn't help but cough for a bit, trying to open his eyes.
“No, you won't!”, Himiko said angrily. “I am not done or it won't work!”
“Tch...at least make the music more quiet...”, he complained and waited for a bit, his lap feeling strangely tingling.
God, was he being turned on by that or what?
“You can look now.”
“Finally.”, Shinji said and opened his eyes, smirking. “Ha! I knew that-”
His smirk dropped faster than the price of a meme coin. He couldn't believe it.
The table....was gone?
Himiko smirked at him victoriously.
“Wh...what the....H...How...”
“A mage never shares her spells, with non-mages.”, she exclaimed proudly and glared. “Now if you ever doubt my magic again, I'll turn you into a frog.”
“I....Noted.”, Shinji said and got up from the rolling chair, before dashing out of the break room. Himiko watched after him and tugged one of her used smoke balls tightly, turning off the music too.
Before heading back to the first break room, where they originally were.

“Hey, Ryoma!”, Kaito greeted the tennis pro, who was the last boy in the locker room with him. The former tennis pro took off his gym shirt and gave the astronaut a puzzled look.
“Yeah?”
“Been wanting to know, if you wanted to join the others and me tonight. We'll train and-”
“No thanks.”
“Huh? Yo..you didn't even let me finish!”, the astronaut complained annoyed, rubbing his forehead frustrated. Ryoma shrugged.
“You keep asking me the same question, after every single gym lesson. Sorry kid, but you're a bit too predictable.”
“Predictable? Me? No way, I am Kaito Momota, Lu-”
“Luminary of the stars, I know.”
Kaito growled frustrated and gave his classmate an annoyed look.
“Come on, why don't you just say yes? If ya do it, then I'll leave you alone.”
“And why don't you just stop asking? If you do that, then you won't have to repeat yourself.”
“I-”
Kaito shook his head bewildered and glanced away.
“I don't get it. You...used to be my idol. The best tennis player in all of Japan...what the hell happened with you?”
“Life happened. The man you are talking about does no longer exist.”
“Tch.....so you're just a coward, aren't you?”
“A coward? Please. I am not uncool.”
“If you were 'cool', you'd stop being such a wuss.”, Kaito shot back. Ryoma stopped moving briefly, with Kaito hoping that he'd finally bring him out of his shell.
However...
“Whatever.”
With that, Ryoma changed into his usual attire and left the locker room in a swift motion.
Leaving behind an annoyed astronaut.
“I'll rip that mask off of yours...Just you wait.”

Chapter 41: Kirumi and Gonta- Value
Chapter by Izumeno

Chapter Text
“Kirumi....I do not mean to complain, but I asked for a chamomille tea and not for a lemon tea.”, Korekiyo told her, as he sat at the table and turned to the maid, the cup still in his hand. Kirumi’s eyes widened briefly.
“I....apologise. I will bring you another one.”
“Thank you.”
With that, the maid walked off to the kitchen and closed the door behind her. Gritting her teeth, she took a deep breath.
What was going on with her? She wasn’t usually this....absent-minded.
Her abilities really were not up to par today, were they?
First, she accidentally brought Angie the wrong brushes from her lab.
Then, she handed Kaede the wrong music sheets in her lab, just before she wanted to play.
And now this?
She closed her eyes.
Mistakes are bound to happen. She was a maid and not a superhuman. But even so....
Why was she so...distracted? There wasn’t anything to distract her from.
....right?
“I...shall bring him his tea.”, Kirumi noted and opened the drawer, taking out another bag. As she put some hot water into the cup, she noticed the door opening and for someone to walk inside. His tall stature left no room for doubt.
“Oh, Gonta. Good day.”, she greeted him with a smile.
“Good day to you too, Kirumi! What are you doing?”
“I am making Korekiyo some tea. Would you like one too?”
“Oh? No, Gonta just wanted to eat some apple and-”
His smile dropped, as the entomologist suddenly began to gaze at the maid confused.
“Is something wrong, Gonta?”
“Gonta is fine, but...is Kirumi fine?”
“I am doing well. Why do you ask that?”, she wondered and he scratched his head sheepishly.
“It’s....just....you seem...unnerved. And a bit tense too.”, Gonta clarified slowly. “Like...if Kirumi has something that’s troubling her.....And well...”
He chuckled to himself.
“Oh...sorry. Gonta is probably just overthinking. Kirumi is probably fine, right?”
As he continued to chuckle to himself, his eyes darted over to the maid in question.
She didn’t answer his question.
“K...Kirumi?”
“Hm? Oh....well....”
The maid was not sure, what to say. Usually, she wasn’t this restless and unprofessional.
Why...was she not able to say anything?
“K..Kirumi?”, Gonta asked again. Letting out a sigh in defeat, Kirumi shook her head.
“Apologies....you are right. It appears I am not fine.”
“Wh..What? Why?! Did...Kokichi call you grandma again? This is not gentlemanly at all and-”
“No...nothing of the sort, Gonta.”, Kirumi replied, stopping the startled entomologist dead in his tracks. “It...is nothing of the sort.”
“Oh...then what is troubling, Kirumi?”
The maid took a deep breath and fiddled with her fingers. For a moment, she was not sure how to explain the situation to him. She....was not used to this.
Yet....
“I......Klaus invited me to go to the movies with him and Minuki on Friday.”
“Really? That is great!”, Gonta exclaimed happily, before frowning. “But...Gonta does not see the problem....Did..he change his mind?”
“Oh....No, it’s...it’s...”
She rubbed her arm awkwardly.
“I...I am not sure, if I should attend.”
“Huh? Why not?”
“Because I am a maid.”
“And?”, Gonta wondered surprised. “Gonta not smart, but....Gonta doesn’t think cinemas won’t allow maids in.”
“That is not the point.”, she replied slightly annoyed, before coughing. “Apologies...I meant, I do not know if I should go there. After all, I am a maid and people need me.”
“Ah....but, Kirumi deserves to do some things she likes.”, the entomologist replied. “I mean...Gonta thinks that you cannot work nonstop. Even bugs don’t hunt all the time. Sometimes they just relax in nest with their friends.”
“Maybe.....but...but...”
Her breathing hitched.
Gonta put a hand on her shoulder.
“Gonta thinks you should go. You are doing a lot for us already and Gonta thinks you deserve it.”
“D...Do I?”
“Yes. After all, Kirumi is human too. And humans don’t work nonstop, right?”
“Y..Yes, but...If I do not work...am I even valuable?”
“What? Of course, Kirumi is valuable!”, he exclaimed determined. “Gonta isn’t telling you to stop working forever....Gonta is just telling you to have some fun. Is...Gonta not smart enough to understand that?”
“I...No, you understand it pretty well.”, the maid admitted and turned around, freeing herself from his grip. “I...need to prepare Kiyo’s tea.”
“Okay...Gonta will leave then. But, Gonta thinks that Kirumi deserves the best too.”, he explained with a kind smile, before turning around. “See you.”
And so, he left the kitchen. The entomologist didn’t even grab an apple from the fridge.
She was going to have to bring him one, once she’s done.
Her eyes darted over to the tea. And for a while, she watched the steam rising from the liquid, the waves dancing inside.
Before she put the tea on a tray and left.

Chapter Text
“There you are.”, Minuki mused, her expression forming a small smile. “I thought you weren’t going to join me after all.”
“Nonsense.”, Klaus told her, as he walked to the place where the author was standing.
The Magic Cinema, its title being written on the billboard in fancy and colorful letters. Himiko would give this title a thumbs-up.
Minuki smiled.
“So...you are ready to watch the new “Button Opal” movie?”
“I sure am.”, Klaus replied with a smirk. “Hope you won’t piss your pants.”
“Please.”, Minuki shot back, with a smirk of her own. “I am not the one, who ran out of the theatre when that new animatronic film came out.”
“H..Hey! Robots are scary!”
“Keebo won’t appreciate it.”
“Keebo isn’t here.”, Klaus pointed out and let out a sigh. “Look...I watched the trailers and I think I can handle it.”
“If you say so.”, Minuki stated and adjusted her glasses. “Let us go inside then, shall-”
Her eyes widened slightly. Klaus tilted his head.
“Minuki?”
“.....You didn’t tell me that you’d bring her with us.”
“Her? What do you-”
The brunette pointed behind Klaus and he turned around, before gasping.
Kirumi was standing there, dressed in her usual attire.
“K...Kirumi?”
“Greetings.”, she began and bowed. “I hope you two are doing well.”
“Wh...what are you doing here?”, the redhead asked taken aback.
“You offered me, to watch that movie with you. Didn’t you?”
“You did? Without telling me?”, Minuki asked irritated, albeit still calm. She gazed him annoyed.
“I....yes, but...you said you couldn’t join us!”
“I changed my mind. But if you do not want me here, I can leave and-”
“N..No, you can stay.”, Klaus said quickly, Minuki crossed her arms.
“Hmph.”
She turned to the maid.
“Look, sorry but we only bought tickets for the two of us. So you can’t join us.”
“That is alright.”, Kirumi answered and took out her phone, with a smile. “I bought myself a digital ticket. It is on here.”
“I.........”
“Well, great. Let’s go inside, okay?”, Klaus asked with a smile and turned around. “I...really am craving for some popcorn.”
“R...right.......”, Minuki noted and gave both of them a cold glare, which was partially masked by her usual calm demeanor. “Let’s go inside.”
Thus, the two of them went ahead. Kirumi hesitated for a moment.
Before following along.
Once they were inside, they showed their tickets to the attendant and were allowed to be let in. Excited, Klaus ran towards the snack bar and turned to the two girls.
“I’m gonna get myself a big bucket of popcorn!”
“Again? Are you going to get an ice cream smoothie too?”, Minuki mused with a giggle. “You’re so predictable.”
“Oh, just be quiet already.”, Klaus mumbled and took out some money, before turning to Kirumi. “What would you like?”
“Oh.....me?”
“Yes, you. What do you want to have?”
“Umm.....”, Kirumi muttered, taken aback by the request. “I...do not really know.”
“Y...You don’t know?”, Minuki asked bewildered. “Come on, just pick popcorn and a drink!”
“I...see. I do wonder what popcorn tastes like.... along with the rest of the items.”
The island friends stared at the maid bewildered.
“Y...you never had popcorn before?”, Klaus deadpanned. “You’re joking.”
“I am not. I never had popcorn before in my life.”
“Wh.....How?”, Minuki demanded and Kirumi adjusted her gloves.
“I barely had much freetime...so pleasantries like this are a rarity for me.”, the maid admitted and tilted her head. “So....since I am taking popcorn...should I choose salt or sweet? What would you recommend?”
“I prefer sweet popcorn.”, Klaus recommended quickly. “Seriously, it’s the best.”
“And also unhealthy.”
“Since when did you care about your nutrition?”, Klaus teased and Minuki clenched her teeth.
“J..Just because I like eating junk food, does not mean that I do not care about my health, jerk.”
“Suuure....”
“Klaus, I would prefer to not fatshame Minuki. I do not think it is polite.”, Kirumi interrupted them and Minuki smirked at Klaus.
“That’s right. Listen to mommy maid, Klausey.”
Klaus groaned irritated and Kirumi’s eye twitched briefly. Before she let out a sigh and gave them a puzzled look.
“So....which one is it?”
“Sweet!”
“Salt.”
Both of them waited for Kirumi’s answer.
And thus, they were walking off to the screening room together. Kirumi was carrying one bucket of salted and one bucket of sweet popcorn in her other hand. Klaus was mourning the loss of his wallet, whereas Minuki even wondered, if Kirumi could eat so much popcorn in one sitting.
They then reached the screening room and went inside. Kirumi gazed at the elegant architecture, while feeling the firm yet soft ground underneath her feet.
“Where are we sitting?”, Klaus asked Minuki, who adjusted her glasses and glanced up.
“There. Second row on the right.”, she explained and smiled at Kirumi. “I assume that you’ll sit somewhere else then, given that we didn’t order together.”
“That.....is not entirely true.”, the maid said to Minuki’s surprise. “I actually picked the seat right next to Klaus’.”
“H..huh?! H..how did you know where I was gonna sit?”, Klaus wondered and Kirumi giggled to herself slightly.
“Call it, intuition.”
And asking Manae about it.
“H...Huh? You wanna know, where Klaus sits at the theatre?”
“Indeed. He must have told you, given that you are his friend.”, Kirumi explained and tilted her head. “Can you tell me?”
“Well...Manae doesn’t know...Isn’t that a bit...private?”, he asked nervously, while leaning to the mix-board. Kirumi closed her eyes.
“You did not care about privacy, when you kept me up all night with your music. Quite the change of character.”, the maid mused to herself with a stern expression. Manae gasped.
“Wha! Manae is a hypocrite! Don’t look so angry at me, I’ll tell you! Just stop this glary!”
Kirumi smiled to herself.
Too easy.
Sitting down next to Klaus, Minuki flashed her an annoying look, before the lights began to darken. Some ads for some upcoming movies played, including “Night Warrior”, “Walkan’s Life”, “Buff School Girl” and a strange movie about Batman being taken over by Hugo Strange.
Klaus really wondered, what the higher ups were smoking when they were making that movie. He then felt Kirumi’s feet moving around impatiently, turning to the maid in question.
“Impatient?”
“No...But I would like to know, why the movie is not immediately showing.”
“Umm....it’s normal for movie screenings, to show trailers and teasers for upcoming films.”, Minuki pointed out and deadpanned. “Don’t tell me you didn’t know about that either.”
“I did not.”
“Jeez....I know you work a lot and all, but come on. How can you be this out of touch?”
“I apologise.”
“D..Don’t say sorry either!”, Klaus blurted out annoyed and let out a sigh. “Let...us just wait a bit...the movie should start soon.”
“Yes....by the way, what is this movie about?”, Kirumi wondered and adjusted her glove. “I did see a brief summary on the cinema’s website, but due to the task and requests I had to handle, I was unable to read it.”
“You really are obsessed with work, huh.”, Minuki commented dryly. “Anyways.....the movie is about 9 people being stuck somewhere, having to play a death game of sorts in order to escape. It is the sequel to the first movie, which was pretty awesome.”
“I see...an escape room does sound interesting, for a movie plot.”
“Just make sure to not get confused by the whole thing.”, Klaus mumbled and groaned annoyed. “The producer has a habit of writing plots that are....nonsense.”
“It’s not nonsense. You can’t just appreciate the genius writing of the films.”
“I don’t know, if you’d call pseudo scientific telepathy shit, genius. Not to mention the fact that the love interest used the protag like a fiddle.”
“Only for the greater good.”
“That’s what most dictators say.”
“Indeed.”, Kirumi answered with a nod. “The road to hell is paved with good intentions, as they say.”
“Yeah, yeah. You just aren’t writers and can’t appreciate a good story.”, Minuki grumbled. Kirumi tilted her head.
“Is that a request?”
“Wh- No! Q..Quiet, the movie is about to start!”
And thus, the cinema darkened itself completely. The screen began to show the movie and Kirumi watched carefully, trying to not miss a single detail.
After all, she wanted to talk to them after the movie too. So, she had to pay as much attention as humanly possible.
What followed next, were the confusing 2 hours of a movie the maid witnessed. Stuff about clones, quantum physics, british robots, termites, a paradox cat and also some minor details about a pandemic.
And a cult.
Oh and about swimsuit talk. Lots of swimsuit talk.
Thus, when they got out, only one of them was extremely happy.
“This...was the best film ever! I can’t wait for the sequel, where they go back in time and stop the pandemic, to save the world!”, Minuki gushed like a girl on christmas morning, a side of hers that Kirumi witnessed the first time.
Not that the two of them had talked a lot at all. Yet for a stoic and firm writer like herself, this was pretty extraordinary behavior.
It was cute.
“This film made zero sense. How the hell did the main character not realise that he had no dick?”
“Well, because there were no toilets duh!”
“But..you’d still....Nevermind.”, Klaus muttered annoyed and turned to the maid. “What do you think? Did you like the movie?”
“Well....it was certainly entertaining.”
Entertainingly weird.
“What’s your favorite part?”, Minuki pressed on and the maid folded her arms.
“The robot, treating the laws of robotics less as a law and more as a religious system. It would certainly be quite interesting, if more media adapt a simmilar plot structure.”
“I know, right! And it’s so cool that no one suspected a thing.”, Minuki noted and smiled in awe. “Imagine the thought. A robot walking among us...So cool!”
“Keebo is a robot though.”, Klaus pointed out and Minuki shrugged.
“Yeah, but the DM model in the film was more human-like. And didn’t complain about robophobia stuff either.”
“Is that not robophobia itself?”, Kirumi wondered and smiled. “I wonder what would happen if Keebo were to learn about your words.”
“H..Hey! You would...not dare say that.”, Minuki replied taken aback, her usual stoic demeanor trying to return. Keyword on trying.
“I would not. Because Keebo is standing right behind you.”
“Huh?!”
Minuki turned around, her eyes darting the cinema in shock.
“Wait, I don’t see...”
Her brows furrowed, as she heard Kirumi and Klaus giggling. She turned to them.
“Apologies...”, Kirumi said, smiling kindly. “I was just making a joke.”
“Hmph....I never considered you to be a joker, of sorts.”, Minuki replied and let out a sigh. “Did Manae infect you with his humor? That jokester.....”
“Well, I am not complaining. Shows that you have some life in you.”, Klaus answered, smiling. Minuki let out a sigh.
“Whatever. It’s getting late. Let’s head back.”
With that, the author walked ahead. Kirumi expected Klaus to follow.
But instead, he stared at her with a smile.
“What is wrong?”
“Why did you change your mind?”
“About what?”
“About the cinema of course.”, Klaus answered, rolling his eyes. “Why did you decide to join us, after all?”
“Because it was a request of yours.”
“Wh...No it wasn’t.”
“It was.”
“Hell no.”, Klaus replied bluntly and shook his head. “I asked you, IF you wanted to come. Not that you SHOULD come. It was not a request, but an offer....Heh.”
He smirked.
“Just admit that you wanted to join us, to hang out.”
“I....That is not.”
“Klaus!”, Minuki called to the redhead.
“Coming.”, Klaus replied annoyed, giving the maid one last kind look. “See you tomorrow.”
And so, he walked off and left the cinema.
Leaving Kirumi all alone.
Her stomach felt....weird.
Was it....because this was the first time she had some free time for herself?
Maybe-
She grimaced.
Nope, it was because of the popcorn.
So, she ran off to the nearby toilet in a hurry.
Next time, she’ll eat less of it. And order more sweet popcorn.

“Come on, that’s not fair!”, Tenko cried out loud to the gym teacher, who was standing in front of her with crossed arms, away from the rest of the others, who were playing soccer together.
“Tenko, I put you off the field for a reason. You literally tackled Shuichi onto the ground, out of nowhere. That’s a foul.”
“But.....it’s his fault, for being in the way and being physically weak!”, Tenko protested angrily. “I didn’t even want to hurt that male! He just so happened to come into my line of sight!”
Aoi rubbed her eyes and shook her head.
“Even if this was true, you play way too aggressively in sports. You need to watch out, because otherwise you may actually hurt someone extremely. You’re lucky that Shuichi can still walk.”
“Grr...”
The aikido master rubbed her arm with gritted teeth.
“I...I am sorry...okay?”
“I know you are. But you shouldn’t tell that to me, but Shuichi.”
“Wh..what? Apologize to a male?!”
“Yeah, that’s how sport is. You respect your opponents.”, the gym teacher explained and folded her arms. “Or do you do that too, in Neo-Aikido?”
“No! Opponents respect each other in that field!”, the martial artist exclaimed loudly and grinned. “You even attack, before the match officially starts! That’s respect!”
That’s not respect, but disrespect. Aoi thought to herself.
But she didn’t have time to argue, nor was she in the mood for that. After all, she still had to oversee a match and-
Suddenly, a ball hit Tenko right in the face and the misandrist fell onto the ground in pain. Aoi perked up and turned to the shooter, who smirked.
“Ooops. Guess I accidentally hit her.”
“You..did that on purpose, degenerate!”, Tenko growled, while getting up. “I’m gonna tear you apart!”
“Hey, your fault for hurting my beloved Saihara-Chan!”
“You-
“Enough.”
Aoi walked between the two and gave them a disapproving glance.
“Detention, for both of you. The rest, please continue playing and do not behave like wild animals.”
“The only animal I see here, are Miss Andry and Cockichi!”, Miu exclaimed with a cackle, before hissing in pain and rubbing her back. “Shit...back pain sucks.”
“Please no further comments.”, Aoi told them and then let out a frustrated sigh, rubbing her eyes when she noticed how Himiko had fallen asleep during the match again in front of the goal.
And she thought that being a goalkeeper would be less exhausting for her.
She really needed a big cup of coffee, after this. And a few dozen doughnuts.

Chapter 44: Kaede-Myadera-Tsumugi-Proofreading
Chapter by Izumeno
Chapter Text
“Reading manga?”
Kaede perked up from her seat and turned to the source of the voice, which happened to belong to Tsumugi and Myadera, both holding a tray of food in their hands. The pianist smiled.
“Oh, hello Tsumugi and Myadera.”, she greeted them. “Come sit down!”
“Gladly.”, Myadera replied and followed the order, Tsumugi doing the same. The cosplayer pushed her glasses up and glanced at the cover curiously.
“Hotdog....Man?”, she read surprised and tilted her head. “I never heard of such a manga before. Did you, Myadera?”
“Me neither....I would say that my manga knowledge is pretty wide, yet this is the first time I’ve seen a cover like that.”, she agreed and glanced at the thick sausage, which was wearing a thick fluffy coat that almost looked like a bun. But only almost.
“Heh...yeah. It is a pretty silly name, isn’t it?”, Kaede replied sheepishly and giggled. “Then again...you two are used to worse, right?”
“Hey now. You’re making us sound like total deviants. That’s pretty normie-like behavior.”, Tsumugi said and adjusted her glasses.
“Well considering that we read that manga about that lolicon maid, I cannot blame Kaede for thinking that.”, Myadera conceded and wiped some drool of her lip.
That hot dog was so thick and juicy....
“Where did you get this, Kaede? I didn’t see it in any of the citie’s stores.”
“Oh, I didn’t buy it.”
“You..stole it?”, Myadera wondered aloud and blushed. “Like...the phantom thieves?”
“What? No, of course not geez.”, the pianist answered with a pout. “I’m just proofreading for my sister, that’s all.”
“Your sister?”
“Mhm! Yeah, my twin sister. She is not really a great pianist, but she makes up for that in drawing wonderful manga art. I mean, check this out!”
Kaede proudly moved the pages and showed off a panel of the Hot-Dog man shooting at his opponents with mustard and ketchup. Tsumugi nodded curiously.
“Hmm...the art is pretty good. Reminds me a bit of Araki’s Part 4 art style.”
“Ara, who?”
“Nevermind.”, the cosplayer stated and smiled. “The art looks pretty good. But why is your sister not attending this school then? She’d fit right in, no?”
“Oh...umm...”
Kaede smiled sheepishly.
“She is a bit...busy right now.”, she explained quickly and moved on, before the two could question her even more. “But in any case, I gotta read this through and give her some feedback. Even though I never gave writing feedback before.”
“In that case, how about we read together?”, Myadera asked kindly. “Mugi and I read so many mangas that we can give feedback for any work.”
“Really? That’d be great, thanks!”, Kaede said happily and turned to the cosplayer, waiting for her answer. Said student gave a slight smile of her own and nodded.
“Sure, why not? It’s only one volume it seems and class won’t start, until 2 hours.”, she reasoned, before moving closer to the pianist. And so, the three began to proofread her work.
Hopefully, they’d like it.

“Oh girls.....”, Rui mumbled to herself with a smile, while sitting near a tree on the schoolyard, the sun shining brightly. Tenko swooned right next to her.
“So pretty...Girls are so pretty...”
“Indeed. Especially, with their buttoned up shirts.”, Rui noted and smirked. “God, Miu is such a hottie that I’d-”
“Hey! Don’t talk like a degenerate male!”, Tenko shot back and the redhead shrugged.
“Fine. But Miu is hot though.”
“But....that still sounded gross! Don’t be like males!”
“Like...males?”
“That’s right!”, Tenko confirmed with a smirk of her own. “Males are simply gross and inappropriate! They should just serve us women, I think!”
“That so? Not sure if it’s the best idea to replace the patriarchy, with a matriarchy.”, Rui replied, her smile faltering. Tenko gasped.
“Wh...what? A...Are you into males then?”
“No silly. I just don’t hate them, like you do.”, Rui pointed out, moving some hair out of her face. “Just because I swing for girls, doesn’t mean I hate men. That’s a pretty offensive stereotype for lesbians, you know.”
“Tch....Still, most men are annoying! Especially Kokichi!”
“Even Kenta?”
“Kenta.....is an exception.”, Tenko admitted sheepishly. “Same with Shuichi and Yashuga....They are...passable.”
“And Keebo?”
“Huh? Wh..what about Keebo?”
“Keebo is not male or female. So what is he?”, Rui pressed on curiously. “In fact, what about people who fall outside the gender binary. Like Plasma, you know.”
“Oh....Umm.....I..”
The aikido master’s grin faltered.
“Hone...Honestly...I haven’t thought of that before....I mean...I guess they’re passable? But.....”
She glared.
“Trans men can be just as degenerate, as real males! So they should never get extra treatment from me!”
“Wow.”
This is the first time her misandry, was gender affirming. Rui shrugged.
“Ok that works for me.”
“Yeah! So..wanna talk about more cute girls?”
“Hell yeah.”, Rui said quickly and licked her lips.

Chapter Text
“So.....is this how you are supposed to wear it?”, Keebo asked, tying his kimono and Madoka shook her head.
“No...not quite, Keebo.”, she replied and walked up behind him, grabbing both ends. “You are supposed to...do it like this.”
It didn’t take long for her to tie the kimono fully and Keebo smiled gratefully at her.
“Thank you. That means a lot to me.”
“No need to thank me.”, Madoka answered and gave him a kind smile, while glancing at the wardrobe in her room. “I do enjoy wearing kimonos a lot and it’s nice to hear that someone is sharing my passion with me.”
“Thanks....does it bother you that I am not human, though?”
“Well it is unorthodox, but nothing is wrong with that. It is not like you are keeping us all alive to torture us, while ranting on how much you hate us all. No?”
“........What?”
“Nevermind. The point is, I have no problem with you, Keebo.”
“Thank you.”, he replied and gave a quick bow, turning to the collection. “Did you make them all yourself?”
“Oh, I wish. No, some of them were made by my father. And a few others were made by....my brother.”
“You had a brother?”
“Yes.”, Madoka answered quickly, before continuing. “In any case, shall we try some other kimonos then? I think light blue would fit you well?”
“Okay...Sure.”, Keebo accepted happily, ignoring the fact that Madoka just dodged his question.
It probably wasn’t important.
Probably.

“Hey Miu!”, Angie cheered happily and dashed forward towards the inventor, who was just tinkering on some machine in the cafeteria. Annoyed, she moved her goggles away from her face and gave the artist a scowl.
“The hell ya want, bobblehead?”
“Nyhaha! Miu, don’t be so grumpy. Aren’t you happy to see me?”
“Tch, why the hell would I be happy to see a cult leader?”, Miu asked and rolled her eyes. Angie’s look darkened.
“I do not like you very much right now, Miu.”, she stated and while she was still smiling, her eyes lost much of their warmth. And of course, Miu was startled.
“H...Hey....wh..what did I do......”, she muttered and fiddled with her hair strain nervously. Angie giggled and her eyes immediately got their warmth back.
“Anyways, Miu! What you working on?”
“I.....It’s......supposed to be a spaghetti machine that...that’s supposed to make spaghetti, while ya sleep....”
“Spaghetti?”
“Yeah!”, Miu replied, her cocky demeanor returning. “Think bout it! Ya go to bed, then turn on the invention and bam! Ya wake up in the morning with some delicious spaghetti for breakfast!”
“Oh my that does sound practical.”, Angie answered astounded, before taking out her brush and playing with it. “Though.....isn’t spaghetti supposed to be a lunch meal and not a breakfast meal?”
“Fuck off, it’s spaghetti! It’s delicious, so who cares if you’re supposed to eat it for lunch? What else would ya eat?”
“Hmmm....how bout avocado toast!”
“Avoc...Avocado toast?”, Miu asked grossed out. “Who the fuck would eat that?”
“I do! It’s one of my favorite breakfast meals and used to eat it a lot, on my island!”, Angie explained excitedly. “After all, avocados are not only very delicious, but also divine and nutritious! Add a glass of coconut milk and you got yourself quite a meal!”
“Tch, I don’t need healthy shit. I’m already healthy!”
“Really?”
“Yeah! Have ya seen those tits?”, Miu asked rhetorically and fondled with her own chest, with a cocky grin. “It’s way bigger than your flat-chested one!”
“Nyhahaha! They are quite big, but unlike you I have better posture!”
“What’s that supposed to- AH!”
Miu yelped in pain, when Angie touched Miu’s back and the inventor immediately moved away from the artist.
“H..hey! What the-”
“Atua has spoken.”, Angie interrupted the angry inventor and smiled. “He told me that your back is not in good shape. After all, having a pair of big breasts is great, but it’s quite a burden for your back. Especially if one’s as weak as yours.”
“I ain’t weak! What, you want me to get some plastic surgery, even though ya are the one who actually needs it?!”
“Oh Miu, I don’t need plastic surgery. I am quite happy with my body.”, Angie answered calmly. “I just meant that you could use some exercise or I can give you a massage.”
“Y...you can do massages?”
“Of course! Those hands of mine are able to shape Atua’s clay statures beautifully after all! So I think I’d be able to help ya.”
“I don’t need your help!”
“Okay!”, Angie said happily and nodded. “I’m always here, when you change your mind. Byeonara!”
And so, the artist dashed out of the cafeteria and the blonde rolled her eyes.
“Fucking bobblehead...I don’t need...Ah...”
She rubbed her back and let out a sigh, before putting on her goggles again and working on her inventions.
Should she add an avocado mode?

Chapter 48: Kirumi and Klaus (5)-Another Interview
Chapter by Izumeno

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)
Chapter Text
“Come on in.”
Kirumi perked up from her notes, as she saw the door to her lab opening and a certain redhead entering. Klaus waved at her.
“Mornin’ Rumi.”
“Rumi?”
“My new nickname for you.”, he explained happily. Kirumi tilted her head confused.
“A nickname? Why would I need one? Is my actual name too hard to pronounce?”
“Hm? Of course not. Friends just call each other nicknames.”, Klaus replied nonchalantly. “I mean, isn’t that normal?”
“You are not wrong......”, the maid admitted and tugged her gloves. “So....you see me as a friend?”
“Sure am. I had a lot of fun with you, at the movies. And I think we’re friends by this point, given how long we spend time with each other.”
“Even though, we only meet weekly thanks to our task?”
“What, do you actually hate my guts? Ouch, Rumi.”
“That is not-”
She was interrupted by Klaus giggling.
“I’m joking, chill.”
“Ah...right, my apologies.”, the maid mumbled and coughed. “In any case...shall we start with today’s task?”
“Well, can’t wait. What is it this time?”
“Well....”
Kirumi motioned Klaus to sit next to her and of course, the redhead obliged. She took out her clipboard and a pen, before turning her attention to the student, with no talent.
“Today, I wanted to ask you, what you’d want your talent to be like.”
“Excuse me? Aren’t those meetings supposed to find me one?”, Klaus asked slightly irritated. “Like...why ask me bout it?”
“Because it is part of the task and I’d like to have an image, of your own personal expectations.”, she explained firmly and rested her head on her hand. “So tell me. What talent would you like to have? Assuming that you’d immediately learn and master it, in this hypothetical scenario.”
“That’s impossible to just develop something like that, over night.”
“That’s why I said, hypothetically.”, Kirumi reminded him. Klaus nodded.
“Fair..Alright....”, he replied and fiddled with his upper lip. “Well....I guess, I.....well......Umm...”
He scratched his head sheepishly.
“I....kinda didn’t think about that, yet.”
“I am not surprised about this.”
“H-Hey! What’s that supposed to-”
Now he got flustered, when the maid was the one who giggled at him.
“It was a joke.”
“H..hey! You’re not supposed to joke!”
“And you are?”
“I- Urgh, nevermind.”, he muttered and let out a sigh.”But anyways, I....I don’t know. I never thought bout it, because back when I was on the island it didn’t really matter.”
“Why is that?”
“Because no one minded that I wasn’t that talented.”, he explained, rubbing his arm sheepishly. “Kijo, Manae, Minuki, Hagane.....they didn’t mind one bit. They didn’t question, how useful it is to blow bubbles. They just liked to see me, blow them. That’s all.”
“Hmm....and this changed, when you came here?”
“Yeah...especially thanks to Reiji.”, Klaus mumbled, growing annoyed. “That rich brat has been on my case, ever since I came here. And he is still not stopping, even though the vice-headmaster told him off.”
“Oh?”
“Yeah.”, Klaus confirmed and rolled his eyes. “Sure he doesn’t insult me outright or beats me up, but he makes some dumb indirect remarks. Like when I once got a question in Miss Fukawa’s class wrong, he said: ‘Don’t feel bad, none of us expected any of you, to begin with.’.”
He gritted his teeth and Kirumi wrote down some notes, her brows furrowing.
“Hm...I see. It seems that Reiji is rather unpopular in general.”
“Damn right he is. Apart from Rui and Madoka, none of us really like him. I mean, have you seen how he acted?”
“Hmm....Not personally, but I do get the picture.”
That was a lie.
Kirumi finished taking her notes.
“I see...well, we are done here for today.”
“Already? But you didn’t learn anything!”
“I did.”, she confirmed and smiled. “We are on the right track, of solving your issue.”
“Really?”
“Really.”, Kirumi confirmed and Klaus slowly got up, while smiling.
“Alright, you’re the boss.”, he replied, before turning around. “See you la-”
“One moment.”
Klaus stopped in his tracks and turned to the maid, who was staring at him with a weird facial expression.
“Yeah?”
“I....would like to ask you, if you wanted to drink some coffee with me. There’s a nice cafe, near the school.”
“Huh? You’re asking me, if I want to drink coffee with you.”
“Yes...is that bad?”
“Umm...no, not at all. Was just surprised, is all.”, Klaus answered and nodded. “Sure...I’d love to.”
“Perfect....how bout tomorrow afternoon?”
“That works for me..So, see you tomorrow.”
“See you.”
And so, the redhead finally left and closed the door. As Kirumi thought about her selfish request.
It was selfish, indeed.
But, didn’t anyone deserve to be selfish for once?
She tugged at her own gloves thoughtfully, before getting up and putting her notes away.
Her notes, on how to bond with Klaus.

Chapter 49: Tenko and Yashuga-Sparring
Chapter by Izumeno

Chapter Text
“Hiyaah!”
Tenko delivered a quick punch and Yashuga instinctively blocked it. He didn’t have much time to recover after all, when Tenko delivered a strong kick towards his face. But the martial artist quickly grabbed her leg and Tenko’s eyes widened, when Yashuga spun her around and then slammed her on the mat with much force. He glanced at his sparring partner concerned, before she did a thumb-ups gesture.
“I’m alright....You win.”
“O..Okay....”, Yashuga muttered and was about to help her up, when she got up herself and glared at him.
“Sorry, but I don’t like being touched by men. It sickens me.”
“Oh..S...sorry...”
“Hmph.”
Tenko gave him a stern look.
“You are really as strong, as your title suggests.”, Tenko said to him. “For a male, you also act way less brutish than most. I respect that.”
“Th...thanks....”
“You better be grateful. It’s not every day, I give compliments to any boy.”
“I am...”
He wasn’t sure if Tenko was being serious or if she was joking. She gritted her teeth ashamed.
“Meanwhile I...could barely hurt you. Why? How can I lose to a man, in spite of my training?”
“Well....”, Yashuga replied nervously, fiddling with his contact lenses. “M...Maybe...it’s because you....lack the technique.”
“What? Are you calling me an unskilled fighter?”, Tenko asked angrily and went into a fighting stance. And even though Yashuga knew that Tenko wouldn’t be able to hurt him much, her glare still scared him.
“Not unskilled....More like that you focus too much on offense...You hit hard, but...unlike Kenta...your techniques are a bit sloppy....They lack accuracy and movement...”
“Tch....”
Tenko kept glaring at him, yet didn’t make any move to attack him. Yashuga coughed.
“Kenta...is the opposite...compared to you, he is...m...much weaker. But his techniques are near flawless and....I have to admit that it’s har...hard to deflect them sometimes...”
“Hmph.”, Tenko grunted and relaxed a bit. “Brother Kenta is indeed a master in his own right. If he were to focus more on strength, then he’d actually beat me more often. Not that most men can beat me anyway....Except you that is.”
Yashuga gulped and looked away.
“S..Sorry...”
“Don’t you dare apologise.”
“Huh?”
His gaze turned to Tenko and the martial artist gave him a disgusted sneer.
“I do not like, when men snivel and grovel. Least of all, when they didn’t do anything wrong.”, Tenko replied and clenched her teeth. “You gave me open and upfront advice.... Even when I got mad, you stared me in the face and told me what i’d need to work on. And you dare say sorry for that? Shame on you!”
Yashuga flinched and nodded.
“Ok...Okay...I..I am sorry for being sorry....”
“Hm....it’s a start.”
Tenko’s facial features relaxed and she even smiled a bit.
“Thank you for the match today, Yashuga. I shall beat you next time!”
“I....I wish you the best.”
So, he watched her leave and Yashuga went to the bench and felt the firm wooden texture of the dojo. As he sat down, to take a sip from his bottle, he felt his master’s presence.
“That was a good fight.”
He turned to the ghostly apparition and smiled.
“Th...thank you...I tr...tried to follow your advice....”, he muttered and rubbed his arm. “T...to be upfront with her...and to not be frightened..”
“Indeed...You faced her head on.”, Sakura told him and her look softened. “You do not need to be frightened, my boy. You are very strong, after all.”
“I know....I...I just can’t help it...I am just always so..nervous.”
“It is normal, to feel fear. It makes us human. Even I felt it and still do, sometimes.”
“Y...You do?”
“Yes.”, Sakura confirmed and looked away, quickly moving on. “In any case, you need to face that fear of yours head on. If you do not fight against it, then it will overwhelm you....Of course, some fears remain your entire life, so you only need to face those fears that will prevent you from having a good life.”
“I..understand, thanks Master.”
“Any time.”
“But say....Master, there’s something I want to ask.”
“Please go ahead.”
Yashuga closed the lid of his bottle and gave her a curious glance.
“Why....have you not shown yourself, to the others yet? The teacher staff...your old classmates.”
The moment that Yashuga asked the question, he noticed how Sakura’s facial features froze. While this was very brief, since she quickly recomposed herself, the image was still stuck in his head.
“I......cannot answer that question, right now...”, she said slowly and softly.
“Oh.....sorry for asking.”
“No, it is alright. I....still need to make my decision, after all.”, Sakura admitted and let out a sigh. “Thanks for keeping my existence a secret....I shall reveal myself, when the time is right.”
“I...your welcome.....”
With one last smile, Sakura vanished and Yashuga stared at the place, where she once stood. Taking in the scent of the dojo for a few more minutes, he then grabbed his bags and went to the shower in his room.

“Where did you get those clothes?”
“Oh those?”, Amai asked happily, gesturing to her dress. “I got them at the thrift shop for-”
“I am not surprised at all that a commoner like you, gets their clothes from the thrift store.”, Reiji interrupted her with a smile, leaning against the wall. Amai gasped.
“Hey! What's wrong with thrift stores?”
“The fact that only poor people wear them?”, he asked rhetorically and then pointed at his blazer. “This suit though...it's expensive. Imported all the way from Africa and uses rhino skin as its material, making it even more admirable.”
“Oh wow, destroying the enviroment just to flex your non-existent rizz. How fun.”, Amai pouted, the sun shining brightly onto her golden hair, her bare feet feeling the running track's dirt. She just came here for a bit of a walk, before a certain rich asshole came to mock her.
“Shut up. I have the money, so why should I give a shit about other people?”, he asked and smiled. “My father is rich, you know. And because my father is rich, I am automatically in a better league compared to the rest of you.”
“Yeah, you're in a league of your own alright...A league, where it reeks.”
“Huh? You dare insult my perfume? I-”
“Reiji, what's going on?”
The two perked up and then noticed Shinobu walking up to the two. Reiji smirked.
“Oh my....Good day Shinobu...do you like my blazer?”
“Well, it's hot but like, I am not here to fawn over you.”, she stated annoyed. “Can you please stop picking on Amai?”
She put her hands on her hips and gave him a glare.
“Like, we get it. You're rich and the rest of us aren't. But that doesn't give you the right to just push others around.”
“Heh....come now, why do you care about those peasants so much?”, Reiji asked with an amused smirk on his lips. “Both of us and your brother are part of a higher league. Part of the rich and the elite. Why should we care about, what others think? They are nobodies, trash and-”
“Oh my god, just shut up already you spoiled brat.”, Shinobu replied annoyed, glaring at him. “I've had enough of you. There's absolutely nothing likeable about you and in all honesty that attitude of yours is gonna bring you into trouble.”
“Tch....”
Reiji just glared at her in contempt.
“Well, guess I was wrong bout ya. You are just a common whore.”
And so, he walked off and Amai was about to chase after him with a tightened fist, before Shinobu stopped her.
“Let him be.”
“Huh? But he insulted you!”
“Yeah, but like, he ain't worth it.”, Shinobu explained to her and shook her head. “Besides, if I were to beat him up, I would not only land in trouble with the vice-principal, but I don't wanna confirm his stupid world view either.”
“True....but still, he is so annoying.”
“No kidding. Don't worry bout him, Amai.”, Shinobu answered to him happily. “I think your dress looks very pretty, especially the wing texture on the bottom.”
“Aww shucks, thanks bestie.”, Amai answered happily, her anger subsiding quickly. “I can show you the thrift store, I bought this from. What do ya say?”
“I'd love that.”, Shinobu answered happily. “And once I am done, I gotta bring you to my like, favorite stores.”
“Ooo, I can't wait!”

“Reiji.....Is it true?”
“Is what true?”, the greenhead asked and turned to his friend Madoka, who was playing on her shamisen in the courtyard near to him, having decided to spend the lunch break with him.
“I heard from Amai that you insulted her yet again.”
“It wasn't an insult, but the truth. She got them from the thrift store.”
“And was it right, to just insult her for that?”, Madoka pressed on, her soft gaze hardening. Reiji looked away.
“Tch...stop looking at me....”
“Because I am right?”
“....Well, yeah. But it's not my fault that all of them are inferior to me.”
“Inferior?”
“Yes, inferior! None of them worked as hard as I did, to even make it to the top! I had to take on so many small jobs, just to prove myself to my dad and they didn't!”, he protested bitterly. “Those peasants have so much potential, but they don't push themselves hard enough! That's why I am superior than-”
“Does that make me and Rui inferior?”
Reiji stopped dead in his tracks, the color draining from his face. Madoka stared at him, her face showing no clear message to the progeny.
“I...No, of course you aren't inferior to me...”, Reiji replied and gritted his teeth. “Y..You are different...”
“Different how? I would not say that I work a lot on my shamisen skills, at least not to the point of collapse like you when you research new business ideas in your bedroom.”
“Th..that was a one time thing!”
“Rui said otherwise.”
“Tch.....”
Reiji shook his head.
“Look, you two aren't inferior to me...Because both of you know what life is all about...you struggled and yet you kept on going....You don't whine, you don't complain, you just do it...that makes you equals to me...”
“Hm.”
Madoka closed her eyes, her fingers darting over the shamisen.
“Well, I am happy that you do not see me as an inferior human being, like the rest of us.”
“I never-”
The bell rung.
Break was over.
Madoka got up.
“Let's head to class.”
And so, she grabbed her shamisen and put it in her case and walked off, the pink hair dancing in the wind. Reiji glanced after her with a grimace, before following.

“Gonta.....no sure about this.”
“Why not?”, Manae asked the entomologist with a huge grin. “What's wrong with teaching your friends, how to DJ?”
He pointed to the many cages, containing a bazillion bugs. The entomologist had invited everyone to his “Insect-meet-and-greet”, but Manae was the only one who showed up.
Even so, Gonta was happy that at least someone showed up.
“Gonta...no think bugs can dj....They are way too small...”
“Size doesn't matter!”, Manae protested happily. “Come on, lemme teach them!”
“No! If you do that, dics will get hot and bugs will be hot!”
“Yay, a make-over!”
“No, not Miu-hot! Literally hot! Bugs can only withstand this much heat!”
“Ooooo....Manae doesn't really get it. Now Manae is sad, because Gonta is mad.”, the dj muttered saddened. Gonta gasped horrified.
“N..No! Gonta no sad! Gonta love Manae!”
“R..really? Even if I am so loud?”
“Yes! Gonta love Manae and-”
Suddenly, the entomologist was surprised by a big hug from Manae's part.
“Yay! Gonta and Manae are bffs!”
Startled for a brief period, Gonta chuckled and hugged back.
“Gonta is welcome...Gonta likes that you solely came to his insect-meet-and-greet.”
“Of course! Bugs are awesome!”, Manae replied and looked up towards him, with child-like glee. “Can ya let them out? Please!”
Gonta didn't hesitate.
And later on, Kirumi scolded Manae for bringing mosquitos to the student dorms and giving everyone mosquito bites.

Chapter Text
“Thanks Kirumi....”, Kaede noted with a blush, the maid focusing on her handicraft quite tellingly. That being, to do Kaede's nails. The pianist had asked her to come to her, to do them as a request. Quite rare, for Kaede herself to make Kirumi request something.
But she enjoyed her company a lot.
“Your welcome...I think that nail polish will suit your fingers well.”, she stated and stroked her fingers, with a small blush. “Your skin is quite soft.”
“Yeah..thanks...I take good care in making sure my hands are soft.”, the pianist noted with a slight chuckle. “I...rarely do anything else with them, apart from playing the piano that is.”
“I can see that....Yet you do not even do any sort of cooking? Or sport?”
“Not really...”, Kaede admitted with a blush. “I mean, my sister and I are far from athletic to begin with, but she is the one who actually cooks between the two of us. I just make us enough money, so we can come by.”
“I see....I do ask though, why are you and your sister living alone? What about your parents?”
Kirumi felt Kaede's finger tense up for a moment. The maid understood.
“Ah..my apologies...”
“Yeah....we are trying to move on from them...”, Kaede explained and shook her head. “Don't be sorry however....they did this to themselves, as selfish and ungrateful as I sound. I mean..they did raise us...”
“True....But a parent should make sure their child should be able to be safe and grow up well. Family is supposed to be mutually inclusive.”, Kirumi pointed out and Kaede noticed some bitterness in her words.
Did Kirumi have some bad experience with her family?
Best not to press her on that.
“Yeah...But, it's fine. Both of us do our best and my sister's manga is selling a bit well....A bit too welll.”
“Too well?”
“Well...let's say that there's a lot of r34 content of the main character.”
The maid couldn't help, but chuckle at that.
“I suppose success is a double-edged sword, isn't it?”
“Yeah....Heh, thanks for talking to me Kirumi. We should do this, more often.”
“Of course. I'd be happy to do your nails-”
“No, that's not what I meant. After all, I only asked you to help me with that, because Rantaro is in Sofia to bring something for his youngest sister. He usually does my nails, after all.”
“Oh? Then...why did you ask me?”
“Because I enjoy spending time with you.”, Kaede explained to the maid happily. “You're so cool, calm and collected, not to mention smart and a great friend.”
“Friend?”
Kirumi froze for a brief moment.
She...made another friend?
..........
“Kirumi?”
“Ah, apologies.”, the maid answered with a forced cough. “I'd be happy to spend more time with you as well, Kaede.”
“I'm happy to hear that! Wanna drink some tea together, once you are done.”
Kirumi smiled.
“I'd love that.”

Chapter Text
“Reading, aren't we?”
Keebo glanced up from his books and turned to the source of the voice, echoing across the library. Upon noticing the green hair, he instantly knew who it was.
“Oh...greetings, Reiji.”
“Hello Keebo.”, he greeted him and walked towards him with a smile. “You are reading about human history, hm?”
“I am.”, the robot confirmed. “In order to understand humans more, I have to read more about them....Korekiyo recommended me this book in the library, which is why I am here.”
“Good....good.”, Reiji complimented him. “That's admirable, really.”
“Since...when is reading a book admirable?”, Keebo asked, his ahoge forming a question mark. The business man adjusted his cravat.
“Well, I like how you are actually putting in work to understand us better, my friend. Most machines are rather lazy, after all.”
“Is that supposed to be robophobic?”
“Oh, not at all.”, Reiji assured him and smiled. “It's just....as you already know, I am the successor of my father's company. And as such, I have to learn a lot too. And what I learned, was not to employ AI for business.”
“A...I?”, Keebo wondered aloud.
“Well...actually, calling them AI would be inaccurate. They aren't like you, they can't think for themselves, they're just mindless machines.”, Reiji clarified. “Text generation programs, text-to-image....Basically machines that do nothing, but put up garbage. Yet some companies use those tools, in order to save money and to make even more money. Disgusting, really.”
“That...does sound scummy. But....isn't business all about product?”
Reiji shook his head with an annoyed sigh.
“No, Keebo. That's not the point.”, he replied somewhat annoyed. “Look, most people assume the same as you, so I'll explain it to you. Business is not about money, it's about providing a need.”
“A need?”
“Yes. Businesses give people purpose, something to work for. And something to enjoy, every morning. Like when you share a cup of coffee in the morning and then get a candy bar from the store. Or by using devices that are supposed to help, against human disabilities. Sure, profit is important naturally. But the first and foremost thing about business and capitalism, is to provide a need.”
He clenched his fist.
“Those big companies, don't realise that however. All they care about, is making their shareholders happy...Well not for me. I will show those peasants, what business is really all about. And to show that hard work does pay off, for a brighter future.”
“I see...that sounds pretty admirable, Reiji.”, Keebo noted and he noticed Reiji's cheeks reddening.
“Yeah....whatever. Anyways, I am glad you are doing your part to understand us better. Don't be lazy, Keebo. Laziness results ultimately in unhappiness. Remember that.”
And so, he walked out of the library with flustered quick steps, as Keebo watched after him.
Since when was Reiji so..nice?
His classmates told him that he was an elitistic snob, yet now he showed a more softer side?
To him?
He wasn't sure, what to say or think about that.

“This is stupid...”, Maki muttered annoyed, as she crossed her arms and stared at the entomologist.
“Come on, Maki! Gonta think you can take good care of bugs!”, he exclaimed worried. “Gonta has to go on a bug convention next week and needs someone to feed bugs. If not, bugs would die.”
“And why should I care about that?”, Maki asked annoyed. The entomologist had rushed to her in the courtyard, just moments after the sun rose up and asked her to take care of his bugs. This really disturbed Maki's exercise routine, as the assassin lied down and began to do push-ups again.
“Because Maki is caregiver!”
“I am a CHILD..caregiver.”, Maki muttered between breaths, as she pushed herself further. “Besides, can't you ask Kirumi? I know next to nothing about insects.”
“Well....Gonta figured that Kirumi may need a break, cause she takes care of everything herself.”, the entomologist explained thoughtfully. “And all the others either no like bugs or are busy. So you are the last person, that comes to Gonta's mind.”
“Hmph.”
“Please, Gonta begs you!”
His face twisted and frowned, reminding Maki of one of her kids at the orphanage.
Those baby-doll eyes....
Urgh.....
Maki let out a frustrated sigh and then got up.
“Fine, I'll help.”
“Yay! Gonta-”
“But you owe me one. Got it?”
“Anything you want!”, Gonta clarified happily. Maki rolled her eyes.
“Come to my room, after lunch. There, you can tell me more about what I need to do.”
“Gonta will see you there!”
With that, the entomologist walked off happily and the assassin wiped some sweat off her face.
Great....just great...
Why couldn't she shut up that stupid heart of hers??
....
She ended up doing some sit-ups.

Chapter 56: Adeku Miu Shuichi- Invention
Chapter by Izumeno

Chapter Text
“So umm..what is this?”, Shuichi asked confused, as Adeku showed him a strange spherical device.
“It's a fingerprint analyser..You requested one from us, didn't you?”
“I did...”, Shuichi replied, remembering full well about his request. “My uncle did take the fingerprint toolkit with me, so I asked you two for a change. But... Honestly, I didn't think you'd be done so quickly.”
“That's cuz ya were asking the best of the best.”
Shuichi noticed Miu stepping out of the corner of her lab, tinkering with a strange set of cables with her robot arms that were connected to a backpack. She flashed him a cocky grin.
“When Deku and me team up, the word impossible becomes straight up un-existent!”, she boasted with a cackle. “Our two brain power combined, surpasses ya virgin brains!”
“You...mean non-existent.”, Adeku replied and shook his head with a sigh. “Also Miu....come on, even if we're good that doesn't mean we get to call them stupid...”
“Ah come on, Deku. Ya gotta show some pride.”
“Pride...c..comes before the fall..”, the redhead pointed out flustered, before turning his attention to Shuichi. “But anyways...here's the device. Just aim it at the fingerprint, using the lens in the middle and then press on top of it...It's gonna give you a summary of all the fingerprint details.”
“I see..... Thanks.”
“Bitch, you sound so ungrateful!”, Miu snapped and showed him the finger. “We worked our ass for this shit and ya sound like it's nothing impressive! What, ya think it won't work?!”
“That's not-”
“Fine! Ya get a private demonstration, not locked behind any only shit subscription.”
With that, Miu yanked the device out of Adeku's hands quickly. Then she took off her right glove and put it on the table and the cables on the chair, aiming the device's lens at her glove. She then pressed on top of it and Shuichi watched, as a bright light came out of the lense. And in a matter of seconds, a holographic image came out of it, showing all fingerprints on it.
The Print belongs to Miu Iruma
“Haha! See, this shit works! It can even analyse and compare other fingerprints with one another!”, Miu exclaimed with a grin. “Just plug some external storage space into the USB port with the fingerprint images and-”
But to her surprise, the holograph didn't stop with just the fingerprint listing. Yet also:
Glove contains traces of lube and semen and has not been washed since-
Miu's cheeks reddened embarassed, as she quickly turned on the device and stuffed her glove back into her pocket. Adeku coughed awkwardly and gave Shuichi a sheepish smile.
“An..Anyways....Hope it..will help your case...”
“Thanks...I appreciate it.”, Shuichi answered with a slight forced smile, before taking the device and leaving. Adeku waved after her and then turned to Miu concerned, who was hugging her knees and now sitting on the floor.
“Someone kill me...”
“I....don't want to kill my best frie-”
“It's figuratively, shithead...”, the inventor mumbled embarassed, before getting up and hissing in pain. “Shit! My back!”
“Miu...you okay?”, Adeku asked and shook his head. “That back-pain of yours seems to be getting worse and worse...”
“I'm fine...Deku.”, Miu muttered annoyed, before letting out a sigh and grabbing the cables. “Wanna....watch some Old Spongebob, after lunch later?”
“That...sounds fun.”, Adeku answered happily. And Miu smiled back too sheepishly.

“Sigh....”
Klaus was sitting in his room and yawned, stretching his limbs and rubbing his eyes. Today's classes had been rather stressful and long, which is why he just wanted to rest his body a bit. Letting out a yawn, Klaus was ready to let himself fall onto the bed, when all of a sudden his phone rang.
Someone was attempting to do a video call with him. And when he recognised who it was, he instantly accepted the call.
As he was greeted by his parents, Hajime Hinata and Mahiru Koizumi.
“Hey son, how are you?”
“Ah....hi mom and dad.”, Klaus replied with a slight yawn. “I'm good...just long day of classes.”
“Well that's good to hear, to see you working so hard.”, Mahiru replied happily with a giggle. “You certainly show more ambition than your father over there.”
“Haha, really funny.”, Hajime replied and rolled his eyes annoyed. “You're getting along with your classmates, still?”
“Mhm...cept Reiji of course.”, Klaus said and rolled his eyes. At the mention of his name, Mahiru's look darkened.
“This guy again? Don't tell me, he's harassing you still. I swear if I ever meet him, I'll give him a proper lecture and-”
“Nah, it's fine. Don't worry mom.”, the redhead quickly replied and shook his head. “He's just making snide remarks and I can handle them this time. Minuki and Kijo are helping me with that.”
“I see....”, Mahiru answered annoyed and let out a sigh. “Still...do tell us if he's bothering you.”
“I will, don't worry.”, he said smiling. “How are things on the island?”
“Nothing's really going on there.”, Hajime answered and shook his head. “Nekomaru and Akane have been working on the island even more, building more structures and buildings. We really do want to make this island, as peaceful and comfortable as possible....Especially since we are stuck there.”
Right...
Thanks to his parents and their friends doing something horrible, they had to stay on the island. Klaus began to feel guilty.
“Sorry for not being there, with you.”
“Don't say sorry.”, Hajime answered calmly, letting out a slight cough. “After all, we wanted you to see the world for yourselves. Your slate is still clean, after all and you did not do our mistakes.”
“I guess....”
Mahiru stepped up, noticing the somber mood between the two.
“Anyways...how is that talk with that maid going on?”
Right, he did mention Kirumi a few times in his conversation and how she was helping him, finding his talent. He rubbed his arms awkwardly.
“It's...going good. Kirumi is surprisingly warm and all....”, he explained shyly. “We spend a lot more time together, apart from those meetings. Like, we went to the movies with her and Minuki a few weeks back and we had a fun time.”
“Heh....is my son having a crush?”, Hajime asked with a teasing smirk, as Klaus quickly shook his head.
“Dad!”, he blurted out embarassed, while Mahiru gave her husband a disapproving glance.
“Why do you always think that a guy being friends with a girl, means that he's having a crush on her?”
“Because it's normal?”
“Does that mean you have a crush on Mikan, given how long you two spend time together?”
“What?! No, of course not!”, Hajime replied startled and rolled his eyes a bit, at Mahiru's smirk before turning to Klaus again. “Anyway son, I'm glad that you're liking the school and I am proud of you, for even attending it to begin with.”
“Really? Even though, i am not as talented-”
“Trust me. Talent is overrated and doesn't define your worth.”, Hajime interrupted him, his look darkening. “She...taught me that...I wish I'd known sooner.”
“Umm...who are you talking about?”
“Hm? N..No one.”, Hajime replied and smiled. “Anyways, I can see the sky darkening outside your window. You should better get some sleep.”
“I...I suppose so.”
“Feel yourself hugged by me.”, Mahiru answered with a smile. “And to have a forehead kiss from me.”
Mahiru actually kissed the screen, as Klaus rolled his eyes flustered.
“I am not a baby anymore, mom...But thanks.”, he answered with a yawn. “Goodnight..”
“Goodnight!”
And so, the call was ended and moments later, Klaus fell into a deep sleep.

Chapter 58: Sondam Call
Chapter by Izumeno
Chapter Text
"How are you feeling, dear?", Sonia asked Kijo, with a gentle smile from the video call. Kijo smiled back.
"Greetings mother...Today has been a rather tiring day at school, but I managed to get by....Even if it was rather loud."
Tenko and that astronaut arguing in the cafeteria during lunch time, didn't help matters. But they didn't need to know that.
Sonia frowned from her phone.
"I see....Well are the air pods helping the case?"
"A bit...but I do admit that wearing them for hours is painful."
"Painful?!", Gundham roared from behind with a tight glare. "How dare the manufacturers of this cursed item hurt my precious being? I shall curse down upon em!"
"As will I!", Sonia confirmed with a determined glare. "My daughter deserves the best and retribution!"
"There....is no need for that.", Kijo mumbled sheepishly. "I...was planning to use the money from your allowance, to look for a better pair. There...is no need for...curses and all."
Sonia and Gundham gave themselves a puzzled look, before eventually nodding.
"Okay....but we weren't gonna use the wendigo ritual, you know."
"I know...I know you weren't.", Kijo reassured them with a smile. "I...i know..."
Silence.
"Anyways...", Sonia began again. "Do make sure to dress properly. A beautiful girl like you, deserves the best treatment."
"I will...thanks mom.", Kijo noted with a sigh. "How are Aunt Hiyoko and Aunt Mikan?"
"Those two shall be enjoying themselves as of now.", Gundham replied with a slight smirk. "It would appear they are in he-"
Sonia put a hand on his shoulder, with an ice-cold smile.
"They send you the best regards.", Sonia explained herself calmly. "And they sent you some of Hiyoko's home-made sweets."
"Ah. Thanks for telling me. I shall thank them appropriately.", Kijo answered with a soft smile, before letting out a yawn. "Apologies, but i should head to bed soon."
"Of course. Rest well.", Gundham replied, his hamsters appearing on his back. Sonia kissed the camera and then ended the call.
Kijo then lied down and smiled.
She couldn't wait to see them again on the island and for her to enjoy her sweets.
