Chapter Text
It is said that the Uchihas are closer to the gods than to men, and seeing their origin and what they have achieved... it may be true.
After countless millennia of war among the Earth's population, bloodshed led to the goddess Amaterasu: queen of the gods, law, order, justice, government and strength; to join the god Ryujin, dragon and god of the seas to create the first dragons. However, these creatures needed order since they alone were a cause of great destruction on earth.
Amaterasu searched through the population of the earth until she saw the Uchihas, a clan that believed in honor and blood above all things; They were not unfair, but they paid for injustice with fire and blood, for this, Amaterasu granted them a special bond with dragons, to the point where the Uchihas learned to ride these magnificent creatures and thanks to this Indra Uchiha and his twin sister-wife Indrani ended the war and conquered much of the western lands.
Indra rode the largest dragon that had ever existed and he named her Uzume: her scales were such a dark purple that they could be mistaken for black when she was in the shade and her wings were an intense orange like the sky at dawn. Its fire was black and burned for a long time, it could be days and nothing could put it out.
Uzume was the greatest of all the Uchiha dragons since Indra's conquest. Its wingspan was so great that its shadow could engulf entire towns when it passed overhead. Its teeth were as long as swords and its jaws large enough to swallow an aurochs whole, or even one of those hairy mammoths that are said to roam the cold lands beyond the land of snow.
Indrani rode the second largest dragon which she named Hachiman: its scales were such a bright green that when it flew they looked like jade and emeralds and its eyes were golden. It was said that it could swallow a horse whole. Upon conquering the western lands Indra and Indrani were the first King and Queen and thus the government and lordship of the Uchiha house began.
However, it is said that everything that happens on earth is written in the heavens and the gods have always had a particular sense of humor.
