The form of a young man appears off-centre and much too close to frame as the camera focuses, the camera shakes and unfocuses again as he looks to the side of the camera and reaches towards something-
Before abruptly cutting out.
It cuts back a few seconds later, this time the camera focuses a lot quicker and the man from before is centered in frame and seems to be aware if the wide grin he gives the viewfinder is any indication.
He’s in a tent of some kind, early morning light warping through the coverings as if not there at all giving everything a slight orange tint. His hair is mussed, eyes crinkled in a soft look- one that melts even further and he tilts the camera to his side where someone is curled up besides him.
When he speaks his tone is rough with signs of just waking up, syllables sliding together.
“Morning and welcome to day 5 of our super, secret trip.”

The young man from the very beginning has set the camera beside a set of bushes whilst he plucks various berries from the surrounding foliage.
“Yeah, so we shouldn’t be here for too much longer. Really this was just sort of a breather for us before term starts up again.”
The sun is still as startling as earlier, obscuring some of the surrounding area whilst making the edges of the man’s tanned figure grow fuzzy on the recording.
He keeps talking to the camera throughout his task, commenting on the weather, listing off the berries as he places them in a woven napkin.
A branch snaps.
He jolts, rolling back onto his heels in a crouch.
Silence settles.
And then he unfurls and flings himself at something just off camera.
Another branch snaps, barely audible over the excited chatter as he drags someone into frame with him.

It’s found footage, the rest of it probably got corrupted and this was the only salvageable parts :/

The frame shakes slightly as the holder walks towards what appears to be a small lake, taking various sharp steps in alternating directions causing static and blur to render some frames horrendously distorted.
The Sun is much higher in the sky than previously, looking to be about to begin its afternoon descent.
A faint humming tune comes from somewhere behind the camera.
Abruptly the view becomes a blur of motion and the view is now higher placed, both young men featured so far are now featured in frame, the shorter of the two visibly disgruntled at this as the other pushes their cheeks together and smiles brightly.
The humming grows into mumbled words, still following the tune though;
“It took so long, but I treasure now..”
The foliage in the back of the frame lessens and the frame brightens, alongside the quieter of the two’s expression.
“And when you smile, it warms my heart in me..”
The taller’s words come out even less distinguishable when he turns his lips to the other’s pale cheek and begins peppering kisses to the flushed pink skin there as he continues;
“I’d like to feel the passion..
I wanna take you in my arms, you’re taking me to the point of no return..
I wanna be with you, baby, I wanna be by your side..”
The camera abruptly tips back, a wide shot of the approaching ground capturing the sight of the brunette dipping his partner back into a kiss. Their sneakered feet just caught the edge of the frame.
The imprint of a boot sole is visible when the camera is retrieved and checked over by freckled-covered scrambling hands moments later.

Water distorts the image, but the frame is focused on the shorter of the two men floating under the water, his hair is floating out around him in a wave of black.
His eyes are scrunched closed, the film shakes as the camera zooms in as best it can. It’s blurry and the water doesn’t help, but a smile stretches across his face as his crinkled up nose softens out as he floats back up to the surface.
The cameraman doesn’t immediately follow, the view tilting down to a shot of his bronze legs treading water before the video cuts to black.
When it comes back again, the camera has changed hands. The tan man now the focus of the scene as beration comes from behind the camera;
“This was your silly, sentimental idea. Don’t go breaking the camera idiot.”
The tone is soft, almost teasing.
The man in front of the camera just smiles, pushing his damp brown fringe out of his face.
“Aw, c’mon. You love that I’m all smooshy..”
He winks before disappearing under the water. Seconds later the view shoots up as the cameraman shouts with a flail, the sky a watercolour of sunset shades.
“Especially my silly, mushy hugs.”

Branches snap underfoot as blurry footage fills the whole screen.
Harsh gasps for air come from the holder of the camera, a faint light visible just past the next cropping of trees.
A thud echoes against a nearby tree and the filmer veers left.
“Shit, shit, shit- KEITH SHIT RUN!”
A scream sounds out as the camera tumbles to the ground with a dull thud. Just catching the silhouette as someone scrambles up from beside the fire up ahead.
Static covers the view, as quiet footsteps approach. There’s rustling as someone picks up the camera, then a shushing sound before the power button is hit.
“Lance?! LANCE?!”
The view goes dark and the video ends.
