Chapter Text
The eyes of the alpha looked to his left, nodding to the one beside him, then to the right to nod at the one crouched over there. Once all three were ready, they moved in closer with careful steps so as not to let their prey hear them coming. They'd been working on capturing this same guy for weeks. Now, this was their chance to finally grab him.
The two beside him moved further around the clearing where their prey sat with his back to them. With them now surrounded, Katsuki held his hand up, motioning to move in. They crept into the clearing, keeping out of sight and unable to be heard, that is, until their prey started to giggle. "Better behave if you want me to make your lunches correctly with the crust cut off."
"Awe~" The twin dragons groaned, admitting defeat before running to their dam's side anyway.
Hitsuki batted his long eyelashes as he picked up a sliced apple. "How do you always hear us coming, mama?"
Izuku smirked, handing a canteen of juice to the other twin, Hanata. "Because, your dam is a rabbit, meaning I can hear better than most. I heard you step on a stick as you surrounded me. . . And I heard you and your father planning it on the walk out here."
"So you're snooping on our conversations, how rude little bunny." Katsuki teased, moving to sit to the side of his mate. He kissed the green curls he loved, then moved to the small four-month-old baby rabbit who was pressed to the dam's chest in a wrap and shared the same green curls. Inko's little cheek was squished against Izuku's chest as she napped. Her closed lids hid her beautiful eyes which were emerald with a slight crimson near the pupils. It was as if her eyes couldn't decide which color to inherit. "How was our stealth today?"
"You got closer today. Good job boys." The greenette smiled at his twins.
The dragons smiled wide, each of them missing a tooth in different spots from roughhousing. They were five and learning how to fight with Aizawa and they liked to use that training to settle sibling disputes. Last night, the alpha had to step in as they fought over the last cake slice, only to offer it to their dam instead.
Already they were both showing signs of becoming strong alphas like their father who they looked like the most. Blonde curls, sharpened canines, and a strong build as they had always been the biggest and strongest of their age. They did share a small amount of freckles like the rabbit. In some strange way, Hitsuki carried crimson eyes like his sire, and Hinata carried his dam's emeralds despite everything else about the two boys being identical. However, it only made them that much more special as the princes of the kingdom.
Their father, the king, stood proud as he helped make his son's sandwiches. They ate and chatted over what type of strategy to try next. As they ate, Inko woke up, babbling and wanting to be part of the conversation now too as she sat in her father's lap, leaning against his stomach for support. She faced out, talking baby gibberish as she chewed on a full-size carrot, her gums gnawing at it without being able to eat it. As she was teething, it felt good on her gums.
"Ahem." Hitsuki wiggled his brows as he looked between his father and brother.
Katsuki was confused, then nodded. He cleared his throat, turning to look at the omega's freckled face as he was sort of cleaning up and eating at the same time. Izuku looked up at his husband, smiling as he knew where this was going. "My precious mate?"
"Yes, my sweet alpha?" The boys rolled their eyes. They knew their parents loved each other more than most couples. Over the years and after asking how the mated pair got some of their scars, it was clear they were there for each other through a lot. It was something the two stubborn and proud boys would never admit out loud but, seeing how much their parents love and care for the other makes them happy.
"May we be excused from the wonderful meal you've put together for us? I did promise the boys a flying lesson."
"Hmm." The rabbit hummed, pressing his lips together as he looked at the very hopeful boys. They pushed their bottom lips out and touched their palms in a pitiful pout while begging. As much as he tried to hold on, Izuku let out a small laugh. "Go on."
"Thank you, Mama!" They shouted, hugging and kissing their dam on the cheek at the same time. The little ones now turned to their sire, grabbing an arm each and trying to yank him upward. The greenette took his daughter back, holding her high above his head as she blew raspberries.
Katsuki paused, leaning down to kiss the rabbit's curls before picking his boys up and over each shoulder. They laughed while trying to fight him but, it was useless against their father who was in his prime.
"Take it easy!"
"I will!" The king laughed back.
"I wasn't talking to you." Izuku tilted his head, knowingly at his boys who got carried away pretty easily.
"Don't worry, mama!"
"We'll play nice!"
"Oi, you think I'm made of glass here?" Katsuki squeezed their torsos tighter, making them groan.

The trail behind the palace was secretive only to the royals. It was covered by trees and allowed a perfectly shaded walkthrough. It was a beautiful path the rabbit enjoyed. The twins had their wooden swords, gifts from their grandmother who for sure was trying to get even with the trouble her son gave her. Inko was back in the wrap but looking up at the sun rays peaking through the tree branches as she grabbed and scratched at her dam's neck until he offered her his finger to hold onto.
Katsuki looked down at his mate, how he admired their pups and the things around them. He put a thick arm around his waist, kissing his temple. "I love you."
"I love you, Kacchan. Thanks for running away with us for the afternoon. I know that taking over as king a couple of months ago has taken its toll on you a bit. You just seemed like you needed a break."
"I did, and this is exactly what I needed." The blonde stated, stopping his omega and holding his chin, kissing him sweetly before being interrupted by cooing. Crimson looked down, raising a brow as he smirked at his daughter. "Really? It's bad enough your brothers hate it when I love on my mate, but now you? Can't catch a break."
Izuku giggled, leaning back up to kiss him again as he covered the baby's eyes.
"Hey!"
"No kissing our Mama!"
The boys were running full speed at the king. Katsuki groaned jokingly before being whacked with a wooden sword. "Oi, I'm unarmed!"
"So?"
"Just makes you an easier take down."
Quick thinking, and wanting something to stop the assault, the blonde rushed to the forest floor, picking up a decently sized stick to use. "He's my mate! I am allowed to touch him."
"You're unworthy!"
"You must be slain!"
Katsuki rolled his eyes as he looked at his laughing mate. "I think I'm done letting Uncle Kirishima tell you boys stories."
"Never surrender boys!" Izuku cheered them on. Even Inko babbled, encouraging whatever her dam was getting loud about.
"Mutiny!" Katsuki shouted with a wide smile on his face as he battled his boys. Izuku could only grin from ear to ear as he watched the love of his life, his perfect mate, be the perfect sire to their pups.
Still smiling, the omega pressed his fingertips gently into the pudgy fair cheeks of his daughter who only giggled at the feeling. "I'm so lucky to be his little bunny."
